Just what camas needed! Local pub with a generous selection of taps, nice selection of sours and imports in the coolers as well. It’s nice to go where everybody knows your name!

Nice place to grab a quick bite and a pint! They had the game on, had air conditioning which on the hottest day we were there was a godsend. Wonderfully helpful staff, they were quick with our snacks and drinks. Nice place.

So many beers, so little time! As luck would have it, the Camas Days celebration was upon us this weekend. After realizing there was a cover charge to enter the sadly underpopulated beer garden, my husband and I popped in to Caps n Taps to have a welcome beverage. The bartender and server were very kind and engaging from the moment we arrived. After receiving some samples, we ordered our beers and as we waited, I looked around to take everything in and was thrilled to see that a customer had a dog at a table with them inside! My husband had the Deschutes Not The Stoic and loved it; I had the Schilling Grapefruit Cider and it was THEBOMB! The atmosphere is awesome; several TVs are mounted on the walls and enough space between the tables to have a private conversation and avoid feeling encroached upon by your neighbor. What a hidden gem in our new home town; we can’t wait to come back and bring friends! 5 Stars!

I’ve been to Caps countless times and every time i go there I get great service and even better beers! Caps always has great beers on tap and tap takeovers with a bunch of different breweries. Recently got the Nitro Boulder Shake and wow, soo good!

Tap Take Over nights are my FAVORITE! The beer is perfectly cold and they very well educated. They know their stuff. I highly recommend Caps N’ Taps if you want beer without the bar atmosphere. Oh and they are DOGFRIENDLY!!!

This has become my new favorite tap house in the area. With so many great places to choose from in the Portland and SW Washington area it says a lot about this place. Selection is always extensive and changing plus the service is great!

I came here yesterday with my family after a long hike and we were wanting cold beers and a little snack. That’s exactly what we got. The snack was lack luster but the beer was cold and what a selection! The gal serving us was quiet but knowledgable and nice. The sign out front was pretty hilarious(see picture) and she had the door open so it was nice and sunny with fresh air. We will definitely come back

Caps N taps has one of the best beer selections around. Brendan and his staff are vey knowledgable, friendly, and the atmosphere of the establishment is very warm and inviting. Several large screen TVs to watch your favorite sports is a WIN! Caps N Taps will definitely have our business no matter what the area might bring. Thank you Brendan!

This is a late review almost a year but if I didn’t live over 2000 miles away this would be a regular spot for me. Awesome craft beer on tap with a focus on local beer. Very friendly staff with a warm ambiance. I didn’t mind that their food menu was small since this is a place for beer! I will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later.

Awesome selection of beer that changes often. Always has a good variety with good explanations of the beers on the menu. Fun atmosphere with enough space for groups.

They were nice, the selection was good, plus the meat & cheese plate is very nice(and fast!). My only less than happy experience was checking in on Unilocal & getting a notification that I would now get a a few bucks off my purchases. Yeah! Happy surprise for sure! Until I let the person helping us know. They refused to honor it. So that happened.

No Lagers? Arrrrr… Dang you! Repeat after me, BRINGBACKLAGERS, BRINGBACKLAGERS, BRINGBACKLAGERS!!! Take back my food comment. Tuesday-Sat. is offered. Great bar food choices as the food is provided by Harvest Restaurant which is across the street. Everything that they offer is OUTSTANDING!

My son works in Camas, and I was waiting for him to finish work, when I decided to grab a beer. He recommended the Caps N’ Taps, as a good place for a drink, and I was not disappointed. I got a beer on tap, my husband got a glass of wine, and we sat on a couch while we waited for my son to finish work. I got the #1(not sure of the name), but it was good and refreshing. I asked the proprietor for snacks, and he gave me a glassful of peanuts, while I watched the soccer game on TV. Very good overall. I will go there again when I am in Camas.

Good beer list, looking forward to more exclusive beers as the restaurant grows. Large HDTV’s in multiple locations so you can watch the game without squinting or without low res blur. We stopped by fairly late on a Friday and the place was PACKED. Yay for them! Even with being slammed busy, the bartender took the time to help a needy whiny acquaintance choose a beer. The place is clean and NOT a dive bar. It’s a craft beer bar and the only ‘crap’ beer you will find is PBR in the can. But, they do carry a variety of beers, so the average Coors Light drinker can get a basic Pilsner or Kolsch without worry. Or, the can of PBR. My rating will go up to 5 stars as the taplist expands. It takes a damn good beer to get me out of the house, so my standards are high and I have a feeling they will meet them.

Great new spot. Hit this gem up for happy hour with some co-workers a few weeks back. A bit crowded as it was Friday afternoon, but we had no problem grabbing a few seats at the bar. The beer selection was great and from what I hear they have a nice rotation going. They had a few snacks to hold us over while we waited for our food to arrive. The owner provided us with some menus for local takeout, even called in our order for us and cleared the table when we were done! Couldn’t have been easier. This is the new happy hour spot, definitely coming back!

Nice enough beer venue with a reasonable selection of beers on tap(20) and in bottles. Good place to drop by if you are in downtown Camas and want a pint but I wouldn’t say it’s worth a special trip, especially since they don’t serve food.

20 local brews on tap makes for quite a sampling. Owners are young and are busting their butts. Décor was better than expected: local mill artwork… nice carved bar…3TV’s that are not too overwhelming. Need to get some food menus on the table… will be using local joints to deliver to the bar. The leather couches and comfy chairs were nice…

Went to the Grand Opening on Friday night with a friend. Place was packed with a line out the door. Tried a Fort George Cavatica Stout and shared a taster tray with him. Came back again on Saturday night for a taster tray with my girlfriend. The old mill artwork hanging on the wall added to the atmosphere. Great and friendly service! Looking forward to bringing more friends to this place!

This place was a HIT! I got to be there on opening night — and as most opening nights with this kind of anticipation go, the place was PACKED! For about 4 hours there was a line out the door just to get in. It was well understood by anyone with common sense that in a bar this packed, you’re going to have to raise a hand or step up to the bar to get service. 4 staff members attending to 70 – 80 guests at once is going to be crazy. Not only did the staff handle everything with kindness and smiles, but the beers… oh, the beers! If the 20 beers on tap for the opening night are any indication of the great craft brew and micro/nano brewing offerings they’ll have, this place will be a weekly haunt for me. No bud or coors here. Not even a widmer or rogue. Screw the big beer giants and give me a Fort George Cavatica Stout! Then a Boneyard RPM, please! Now load up a taster tray of 2IPA’s, a lager, a rye and a porter. That’ll do just fine! See you again soon, Caps N’ Taps!
