Walked in today and sat at the bar put my growler on the bar and my credit card in hand and the bartender helped 4 people who came in after me so I walked out. It was so obvious that he didn’t want to give me any eye contact. Intensionally Turned away from the cash register to avoid me. Dude look around. This young man doesn’t get it. Also hotter than heck inside this place NOAC, so they have a huge fan blowing everyone with hot air. I’ve had a better experience the past few times that I’ve been there.

Very nice beer selection lots of room, good people. One of the better place in town if your are looking for good beer and not worried about the quality of the furniture and pretty waitresses.

Awesome place to go and grab a beer. The few times I’ve been there, it’s been busy enough to have a lively feel, but it’s still quiet and you’ll always get a seat. Lots of great beer on tap, but it is a little spendy for me(I might just be cheap). Great place for beer, probably not a place you want to go to if you’re looking for dinner as well.

Love this place!!! Always have loved this place since its inception! The beer selection has always been great, the service always awesome, and now there’s even more snacks and eats! Can’t beat this place for a happy hour stop, after a dinner with friends, or come solo! Always a fun-loving crowd here!

We love this place, been going since day one. In fact, been going«here» since they were in Washougal, great choice to come out to Camas. The atmosphere is very cozy, the new staff is great, although sometimes it’s a little impersonal but I have no complaints about that at all since we go there for ourselves and have always had a great time together. We would do some things differently but Shelby has done a great job overall. Maybe add some bottles in the huge cooler, we’d love to take home some different kinds of Cider and Beer home with us to try, but never seems to be any good choices. Maybe get some real seating outside in good weather, but again we have no complaints at all. Oh how about some real food LOL. I hate seeing a crummy safeway hot dog come out on a paper plate even at a dive. But I think they’re working on that as we speak. We want to come here for dinner too but never do because of the crappy food, but again no complaints and we work around it. Best place to hang out in Camas in our opinion.

Ran in for a late beer with some family members last night, and was very pleasantly surprised. Great ambiance, loved the mix of individual and communal style tables. Noise level was good, although I could see how it could possibly get loud when the place was full. Bartender was super friendly; good with suggestions and sample offering, and the beer selection is ample. Loved the fridges with additional harder to find bottle selection. A Beer at a Time is somewhere if definitely go weekly or so if I lived in the area– well worth a look!

Pros: lots of choices, tastes offered to assist the choosing, comfortable vibe, cool décor– love the live edge wood tables. Friendly service from the guy at the bar. Cons: happy hour pricing not all that happy: «Premium» beers are premium priced. $ 6 each with«standard» selections $ 4.50. Understandable except some of their«Premiums» are sold elsewhere for reasonable prices…

If you are a beer fan If you can read Enjoy a Beer at a Time. Open warehouse style taproom with friendly service — if you play by the rules. There’s a huge sign next to the well that says«ORDERBEERHERE» and it is, in fact, where you order beer. If you sit at a table and expect to get waited on(and sometimes even at the bar depending on who’s working) you will likely leave confused and beerless. Order at the well like a sane bargoer and enjoy the 50 mostly local brews on tap, or try something different from one of the four refrigerated beer racks. If you want to eat something, they have food. The staff are happy to let you sample just about as many beers necessary to find the perfect taste. Enjoy your beer in as much solitude as you desire on the open back patio(umbrellas and nicely finished wood picnic tables) and smokem if you got em. While it may be confusing to newbies, this is a solid spot with amazing brews. Go see for yourself.

Went with some friends to a high school reunion here and had a great time! This bar is super spacious and has a really cool wood bar. The bartenders were super friendly, put us to work writing some of there chalk signs and gave us some free samples! Overall, great place to go in Camas!

First time I came in, it was pretty new still. Super empty. They had a piece of paper with a very limited menu, which granted, it’s more of a pub and tap room, but I like getting food when I’m at a pub. Got a pannin, which was great, but again, very small menu. Came in a couple of weeks later, more legit, filled out menu and great beer on tap. Something for everyone’s taste. Every item of food I have eaten here is quite delightful as well. Summary: definitely one of the nicer bar/pubs in Downtown Camas. And with solid, finished wood tables and antlers decorated, it compleats the Northwest feel on the highest scale. A couple of the lower reviews have a point: there are very few/limited bar tenders. So when it gets real busy, it’s hard for one guy to run the whole place. Any who, check it out. You either like it or you don’t.

While the beer menu looked great, and the place is big, a friend(who’s in the food and bar service industry) and I decided to jaunt over on a Friday eve to give it a try. Might have been nice but, with only a modest crowd, several empty seats at the bar and two bartenders, we were never acknowledged nor ever served. Sat there 10+ minutes. Bartender with a long beard kept chumming with two pals at the end of the bar, the other barkeep never came our way. Decided to head to Caps N Taps where we mentioned our lack of attention to another customer who interrupted«oh, at Beer at a Time? Yea, they got that reputation. We weren’t served either one time there! « Maybe I’ll try another day and time, but, they lost out on an easy $ 30tab that went elsewhere and now I’ve posted here. Place looked cool though!

Fun, rustic atmosphere with huge beer selection! Lots of open space and board games available if ya feel in the mood… Pinball, tvs to watch your teams too. Food selection looks dismal, but super fun for drinks and socializing!

My friend and I wanted to check this place out, so we went there the other day. When we arrived there a few people sitting at the bar and no one else was in the place. The bartender didn’t say a word to us, we stood there looking at the giant board with the different beers. A worker was update the beers, so she didn’t say a word to us either. After looking at the board for a few minutes to figure out what we wanted to drink, we sat down at a table. We sat there for 7 – 10 mins and at a single worker came over to help us. So we got up and left. I have heard of bad customer service but we had no customer service. I would have liked to try several of the beers, but will not be coming back. I would rate this place a zero star if I could based upon the no service. I can’t comment on the beer since we never got helped.

As good a beer selection as it gets. Service is good, food will eventually be there when they get facility finished. Very nice place for a beer, cider and to get a growler filled. I appreciate the fact they haven’t gone IPA overboard like most places. Sure there is a time and place for IPA, but not ALL the time or all the taps. Great balance of offerings.

Honored to give the first Unilocal for the new location! Amazing customer service, super friendly with a sweet Newfoundland to boot! The beer options are out of control, and plentiful! I can’t wait to watch this place flourish and grow :-) it’s a must go for a drink, or four. Cheers!
