Great local Chinese food!!! Not fussy or pretentious just damn good Chinese old school kinda food! Love the potstickers and the spicy sweet General Tso’s chicken! Quan is quick and her husband serves up hot Chinese comfort food! It’s not nouveau or trendy it’s just down home old school Chinese

Lived in camas most of my life and never came here, what a shame! This place is the classic American Chinese food that’s quite inexpensive and better quality than most in Vancouver. I would defiantly recommend this place to any one in the camas area.

My family ate here for dinner tonight and it was great. We had a party of 7, the waitress(owner?) was attentive and speedy. The food was great for a hole in the wall restaurant and the pricing was fair for the amount of food we got. The food was fresh cooked and flavorful. The best part was that it was a very short walk from where we are staying at the Camas Hotel. Great food and great service. The interior is a very simple and basic design, layout and décor but don’t let that fool you. They have a simple menu very similar to just about any small hole in the wall/mom and pop food Chinese food place. The temp of the air could have been a little warmer especially for mid winter but it was still comfortable enough to enjoy our meal. I recommend this place for anyone looking for inexpensive Chinese food. Especially if you’re staying at the Camas Hotel, it is well worth the short walk across the street.

Just found this place. We used to come here when there were other owners and it was just so-so but this food is fantastic. It’s clean inside, the prices are very reasonable, and the food taste so fresh. The hot and sour soup is to die for and the egg plant dish is absolutely delightful. I say without any hesitation this is the best Chinese restaurant campuses ever had and it may well be better than anything I could find Vancouver either.

We stopped by here with our family recently. All-in-all it was fine, although there were some areas they could improve. It was a chilly evening, and they didn’t have the heat up much. We left our jackets on, and the kids still thought it was chilly. The hot sour soup was tasty. The service was good, the proprietor was friendly and attentive. Our food was fine — pretty standard American Chinese fare.

Usually I like hole in the fall fatty chicken Chinese places but I have to say this was some of the worst food iv had. We got two common orders. Fried rice/Mongolian beef/sweet and sour chicken. The chicken fried rice was bland and dry. The mongolian beef had more weight in onions and the few peices of beef were very low quality(it was like eating beef-ish tasting tofu). The two stars were for the sweet and sour chicken. Though it was still not very good we atleast ate all the sweet and sour chicken. Inside décor in awful. I saw reviews saying it’s the best Chinese in town. That must be because they think it’s the only chinese in town. Either way I would eat someplace else.

This is my go to Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is good and the prices are even better. I think the thing that keeps me coming back is the staff; they are so friendly and clearly appreciate the business. The lady working always knows my order and immediately greets me when I come in. Normally, she asks if I want the same thing and out it comes, hot and fresh!

Have only ordered take out at this restaurant, but the food has always been very good. Ordered the Mongolian Beef based on another reviewers recommendation and was told that I could have it a little less spicy. The beef was tender, veggies in the chop suey crisp/tender, and the fried rice was savory. All in all a very good choice for Chinese food.

Very good Chinese food! I’ve been going here for 4 years. And even though, it is under new management it has stayed good. Lin was the old owner and she was really nice and liked to make conversation, the new owner is nice too. l highly recommend general tsao chicken, orange chicken, chow mein, their fried rice, happy family, Mongolian beef/chicken, L4 which is fried shrimp, sweet and sour chicken and fried rice and the wonton soup! But they do not sell coffee or alcoholic beverages.

How does this place have good reviews? Yes, the service is friendly but if anything, don’t most people go back for food? Been here twice, the first time the hubby and I thought. meh, maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. We got the General Tso’s chicken. The chicken was tough, not fresh… like it had been sitting out for a while and then heated back up. Second time, we got another chicken dish, wonton soup, and chow mein. Same thing with the chicken, NOTFRESH. Soup and noodles were a little below average. I lived in SF for 3 years and come on people, this is not good chinese food!

i dont agree with the super bad review at all– i think this is the best of the 3 chinese restaurants in the area and the food is good. Ling, is chatty, a joy to talk to and very nice and will also tweak the menu if you ask– Being from chicago– and san francisco its not top shelf– nor is it priced as such– but for this area it is great to have them–

I tried the Happy Island Restaurant today for lunch and I was not impressed. I had the Szechuan Beef and my friend had the Orange Chicken. My beef was chewy and clearly a poor/cheap cut of beef. My friends Orange Chicken was better but was made up of a medley of cheap chicken parts, instead of breast meat pieces. Bottom line, I have had better chinese at Panda Express. As a positive note, it did seem very clean and the server was friendly.

Great service and good quality Chinese food. We enjoyed the Cashew Chicken and Beef with Broccoli. Lots of fresh veggies and light on the cooking oil.

Best chinese food in town, we have tried the rest and found the best. The menu has a large variety and the food is made to order served hot and fresh. Garlic chicken has become the go to for us, they even offer a pad that that is really good and if you like it spicy go for the 5 star, we setttled for the 4 star. Service is friendly and the place is clean. Prices are good too. We have been here half dozen times and always satisfied with what we get.

Fast, friendly service(a little too friendly; the server was very chatty as I was obviously trying to eat and read my book over lunch). A decent-sized standard menu, with a special section for vegetarians. I especially like their egg flower soup and spring rolls! A nice, clean, cozy restaurant. Would eat there again.
