Dilara is not closed. It’s just open at odd hours — which could work out great in some circumstances. When you call at 3am, they ask delivery and you say pickup but they hang up before you can even say you’re literally across the street, there isn’t much more to say. I’ve unfortunately had bad experiences dealing with them before; I like to order chicken tenders and they always skimp on the sauces(but throw in 1 extra blue cheese to make up) and one time they way overcharged and tried to talk me out of it. Sadly, I’m going to avoid them at all costs going forward.

DIlara is still up and running, unfortunately. I ordered a pizza, the delivery was quick which was a plus. However, when I opened the pizza box, the chicken was burnt/black and was not in fact the pizza I ordered. Upon calling them to rectify the situation I was told they would«call their HR on Monday and have it investigated» and then I was promptly hung up on. Though I understand it is late night pizza, I think an integral part of running a restaurant/food delivery business is to be able to provide what the customer actually orders. If you want to be hung up on after paying money for something you didn’t order that is also sub par, order here I suppose…

These guys came through at 4:30AM after I’d had a bad night. The pizza was great, but based on the reviews I’m seeing it appears to be hit-or-miss. I generally follow the gist of the Unilocalers so I would have to say avoid if possible, but as a last resort, they might come through in a pinch.

Stay away! I ordered from here tonight and it was absolutely awful. The estimated delivery time was 50 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later, I called to inquire about the order and the guy told me that the driver had the food and would be there shortly. I live a little less than two miles away. After ANOTHER25 minutes I called again and was told that the driver had just left. Interesting because he was on his way the last time I called… The food finally arrived after two hours, cold and disgusting. The«large» calzone was tiny and cost $ 16.00. The salad I ordered did not have many of the ingredients included in the description and it was overall just awful. I will never, ever order from this place again.

I drive by here every day on my way to work, it has been closed now for some time, like over a month. FYI for anyone trying to order from here. Eat24 will still take your order, too… Kinda sad because while it wasn’t really good or prompt, they had excellent Turkish(not Greek) baklava and the lemon orzo soup was good. The lahmejun pizza(‘Turkish pizza’ pizza) was good when they had the right ingredients in, too(not that they’d tell you they were out of the ingredients they would just put something random not even close on :/).

Ordered delivery from here. Got the mozz sticks, chicken pesto tomato calzone, and cheesecake. Delivery wait time was an hour. Mozzarella sticks are pretty hard to mess up. The marinara sauce for both the sticks and the calzone was very weird. It was extremely thin and watered down. The calzone was huge but didn’t have a lot of pesto on it. However, the cheesecake was so good, I got it with strawberry sauce and hot fudge and it was amazing. Cheesecake is my favorite though, so it’s very difficult for me to be disappointed with a cake in a box. Would only order cheesecake from here again.

DONOTORDERANYTHINGFROMTHEM! THEFOODWILLNOTCOMEANDYOUWILLSTILLBECHARGEDFORIT! They took my order at 7:55. When I called to inquire about it at 9:05, they said it would be to me in 5 minutes. The driver then called me to scold me for getting mad at her for being late on a Friday night. I told her I didn’t care and to just come with the food. When my food didn’t show up by 9:30, I called the restaurant. The driver had cancelled my order without telling me, and I am still being charged. It is ridiculous that not only was my order cancelled, but I had to call to find out. I’m assuming this isn’t the first time this has happened with them.

The first time I had their food I was mooching off of my roommate’s bbq chicken pizza at 4am. I was impressed and devoured three slices. The next week I convinced my boyfriend that it was phenomenal, so we decided to give it a try ourselves. Not even close. Here’s why… — I live a couple of blocks away so after being told that pickup was not an option, we were forced to order delivery. It took over an hour to deliver ¼ mile away. –We received a flat, burnt, pizza that was made with old, dense dough. I say this because I used to work at a pizza place and I know the difference between fresh dough and old dough. This was OLD. –The worst part of the experience was the«buffalo wings». They forgot the buffalo sauce so we had plain wings. Frustrating, but no big deal. The wings were okay at first, but the taste seemed a little off. We then realized a foul stench coming from the chicken. I inspected it to ensure that it was fully cooked, which it was, but the MEATWASROTTEN! The best word to describe it: RANCID. We stopped eating it immediately and the only reason we kept it in our fridge was to hold it as evidence in case we woke up vomiting in the middle of the night. We called back to complain, but no answer. I didn’t even care about getting the $ 24 back, I just wanted to make sure they knew what they were serving people so that no one else would get sick. –The following day my boyfriend checked his bank statement and they charged him double! The funds were replaced quickly, but it still added to the overall frustration since we shouldn’t have paid a dime in the first place. NEVERAGAIN.

Stay away. I ordered a large cheese pizza and a Sierra Mist, which I figured would be pretty simple to figure out. I was wrong. It took over an hour and a half to get my pizza, which showed up cold and did not look appetizing at all. When I called to check on my order after an hour of waiting, whoever answered the phone seemed extremely annoying that I was asking about my pizza, and told me «it’s probably on the way.» Great service. They also gave me a Ginger Ale. Wish I could give zero.

If I could give negative stars I would. The only thing this place has going for them is it delivers til 3am. I ordered a sime pizza it arrive cold and with a pushy delivery person telling me where to «write the tip». Pizza is terrible. I would have been better off with a frozen pizza. I will never order from this place again. Avoid at all costs

Awful! Words cannot begin to describe how terrible this place is. We were staying at a near by hotel, ordered through foodler at 1:53 am. We called again at 3:00 am to make sure that it was still coming. Whoever answered the phone, hung up on us telling us that they were closed and could not take our order(even though we were not placing an order, we were simply checking on our status.) Called again, got hung up on again when we tried to give them our order number from foodler. After that they would not answer the phone. Luckily, about ten, fifteen minutes later, our pizza arrived. The delivery person, however, tried to get us to double tip. He asked for the tip, we told him that we added it when the order was placed, he told us that there was no tip on the receipt and when we asked to see the receipt, he refused and quickly left. The pizza was cold when we opened the box. Steer clear!

Had a couple of cheese slices and a soda while out walking. Excellent crust. Great Née York style pizza. Hey, NY gets one thing right. Price was right as we’ll, 5 bucks.

Finished bartending and came home exhausted, starving and sleepy. Jumped on foodler to order delivery, expecting it to arrive after I cleaned up and changed. Well that was OVERTWOHOURSAGO. It is now 5:30AM, I haven’t gone to sleep because when I called 40 minutes ago, someone told me that the order was with the driver and should arrive soon. Thanks but .it hasn’t!!! Tried to call back– no answer and a full voicemail box(shocker). Now– even more exhausted and starving, not to mention pissed the **** off, and calling it quits! I wish I could give zero stars and use profanity, because seriously, EFF you Café Diarrhea. I used to live nearby in Cambridge and have gone here plenty of times, but I will NEVER order from you again. profanityprofanityprofanity *$**@#%% YOU guys.

This place doesn’t deserve any stars from me, ATALL, but since that isn’t an option, I’d rather announce it. I ordered food and was told it would take 45 minutes to get to me. Not only did I never get my food, I’m still waiting for my refund. I CANNOTBELIEVE, I was ready to tip $ 5. I had to call several times & each time was told a different lie. It’s completely unacceptable to expect ppl to wait longer than 45 minutes for food. Not only is my food gonna be cold, I will become the irate customer of the century. I can’t speak for the food, nor will I ever get the chance to because this is by far THEWORST experience I’ve ever had. I’ve already shredded the menu & as I’m sitting here writing this, still waiting for my food. It’s been an hr & a half

I’m sorry Café Dilara, but you’ve got to be kidding. Regular pizza dough topped with poorly seasoned, cumin-flavored red meat is not lahmajun. If you called it a lahmajun-inspired pizza, it’d still be horrifically off because this tastes like poor grade taco filling thrown hastily on top of dough. And where’s the promised mesclun? NOT that any of this is remotely authentically Turkish. Yaziklar olsun. What an insult to lahmajun everywhere. [Steps off culinary high horse.]

Meh. That’s about all I got. We ordered delivery, at about 7 pm, and were told it by Foodler it would arrive at about 8:15. At 8:12 I got a phone call that said they were«Confirming my order [even though they didn’t actually] and it would be less than 10 minutes.» It was, and she came inside vs. making me come outside, lock myself out of my building and go out to the car like some delivery people have, but she did not come up to our apartment, which was sort of annoying. The food was decent. I ordered a gyro roll up and grape leaves and my boyfriend got the Texas Chicken Sub and jalapeño poppers. The food was warm when it arrived, the rollup was even a little crispy. I asked for no tomatoes, and they obliged, but there was the odd addition of green peppers even though it wasn’t listed on the item, I would’ve gotten it without those too… but there were only a couple and they were easy enough to pick out. The roll up was delicious, but I found the grape leaves to be very oily and they fell apart when you ate them. They were just not as flavorful as other places I’ve had, but you get quite a few for the price, which is a bonus. We also got a ton of napkins and a fork, which was nice. In terms of finding something both the boy and I could agree on to satisfy our different craving, this was a decent pick, but of all the places on Foodler, I don’t know that we’ll hurry back to order again, Especially because Natalie’s( ) is right next door and has the same variety and great mediterranean food. I’ll just suck it up and pay the few extra bucks.

OMG This place stinks. I ordered three things. A steak and cheese. A small cheese pizza and some fries. The fries were the only thing that didn’t stink-but they came after an hour and were cold throughout. I was starving so I ate them up. The sub was so skimpy, I would have brought it back had I had a car to do so. Worst most overpriced sub I have had in 20 + years. The pizza was terrible. I wouldn’t even call it a pizza. It was like a piece of dough with some tomato paste and tiny bit of cheese. After 2 slices, I gave up. Disgusting, whoever cooked this food and whoever owns this place should suffer for being such a rip off artist. Please, do yourself a favor… don’t order from here. Places like this need to go out of business and give the space up for people who take pride in their businesses.

It took 1 hour and 33 minutes to get two subs and wing dings delivered. They didn’t call to let us know. While the food wasn’t terrible, we will never be ordering from here again…
