Super creepy. I don’t know what it was about the place, but I felt uncomfortable. The location is sort of off-putting, and the offices were tiny. To find an optometrist, I simply looked one up in my area that was covered by my insurance — this was the closest one, so I went without any information. Upon arrival, I was pretty sketched out and questioned the legitimacy of the place. As for the actual experience, I guess he did what I would normally expect from an optometrist check-up. However, even though I didn’t need new glasses(since I only use them for reading/my computer to deal with headaches), he pushed me to get new ones(which turned out to not be covered by insurance and more than I wanted to pay). That was a few years ago, and I’ve never gone back even though I know I should. I’ll probably find a new optometrist.

I got a really weird vibe from this place… something just seemed a little off. There was another woman in the waiting room who acted a little strange(the doctor then told me about her mental health and her husband’s eye condition, which seemed kind of like oversharing and possibly a confidentiality breach, and I hadn’t even asked about it). Also he seemed kind of dismissive and disappointed with me when it became clear that I wasn’t planning on buying new lenses or frames there. And he had sort of an offputting way of talking, he kept saying that he «diagnosed» me or another patient with some condition(i.e., he wouldn’t say«to deal with your migraines, you should blah blah blah» it was«to deal with your migraines, which I diagnosed you with, you should blah blah blah»). Anyway, I’m sure he did a fine job with my eyes, but it was all very uncomfortable and awkward and I wouldn’t go back.
