Edible Arrangements

Poor customer service… I purchased an arrangement for a friend whose grandfather passed away. There was a promotion online which offered a free box of dipped fruit. I entered the promo code at checkout, but for some reason it didn’t work. I didn’t notice because the receipt showed 2 items, I assumed one for the arrangement and one for the box of dipped fruit. Turns out that the second item on the receipt was dipped fruit that was on the arrangement and not the extra box of dipped fruit. I called the store and explained the situation thinking that they would just send the box of dipped fruit (especially since my friend lives 2 blocks away from the store). Unfortunately, they refused to do so because it was not on the original receipt. This could have been easily resolved had they just sent a SMALL BOX OF FRUIT DOWN THE STREET. Now they have lost a customer.

Used a groupon buy an arrangement for father’s day. Staff at this location was very helpful in selecting the arrangement. It was a picked up. The arrangement was ready at the given time. The fruits tasted great. Everyone loved it.

I ordered a birthday arrangement for her (large enough to share with co-​workers.) I ordered in online at 7:30 in the morning. The fruit was not delivered until 3pm. Most of her co-​workers had left for the day leaving my daughter with a ton of fruit to take home over the weekend. (too much for her to consume herself before it going bad.) I called to check on the order about 2pm and was told that there was another arrengement going to the same place and that the driver was getting ready to leave in a few minutes. It took another hour for it to arrive. My gripe is not about the fruit but about the deliver service. Not sure I will order from this store again.

My friend send me one for my Birthday. I had seen edible arrangements and they did not look like anything exciting but I was even more disappointed when I tried them. The fruit is not ripe, the bananas and the chocolate surrounding them were tasteless. Imagine completely sugarless and and tasteless chocolate! A couple of strawberries were starting to brown. The centerpiece was perched on top of something that looked like kale or some kind of greens. If fruit is the main theme I would at least expect the fruit to taste good and be fresh. I do not have anything good to say that it was a good conversation piece at work.

TAKE THIS REVIEW with a grain of salt. I just had surgery and am pretty irritable. THAT BEING SAID, I thought that edible arrangements was a bit unprofessional in terms of service delivery. The way I see it, we, as customers, are paying edible arrangements a premium price to get our orders right and delivered on time. kinda like what good is a «birthday pack» if its not delivered to you on the day of your birthday?
Don’t take this the wrong way, the people working at edible arrangements were incredibly nice and accommodating, but for the price my girlfriend probably paid for the arrangement, I expect a better delivery of service.
I called them today to ask them to deliver the basket, and they gave me a time frame of 11am-​3pm, which in my opinion, is a little too long a length of time. I understand they’re busy, but honestly, making me clear up 4 hours out of my hectic med school schedule? A little too much time for me.
They arrived at 12pm with a fruit basket, BUT they forgot to include the balloons. My girlfriend had to CALL them to tell them that they didn’t include the balloons, otherwise I doubt they would have noticed. They called me at 2pm saying that they would deliver them shortly, and after an hour of waiting, i had to call them again to remind them and ask what time the balloons were coming. They ended up coming at 4:30pm.
I guess long story short, I’m not satisfied with my interaction with edible arrangements for two main reasons: they didn’t get the order right, and i had to waste an entire day waiting for everything to be delivered. For the price tag, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them in the future.

Fruit is only good ripe. The fruit that Edible sells is not ripe or sweet or tasty. The reason they serve it that way must be that unripe fruit is easier to cut in odd shapes (kind of like carving wood, I guess) and does not spoil as fast. The only problem is that it tastes like cardboard. Do not send to a romantic interest under any circumstance. Stick to roses!

Okay well no. don’t eff flowers (a man may love a flower, signore, but where will they live). I like them. but what do you do when your friend is allergic to a bunch of stuff and you want something just as vibrant? Edible arrangements to the rescueeeeeeee. Funny part about it is I tried to be sly and ask her directly what her favorite flower was… via text of course.
Me: Hey. my friend is graduating and I can’t go. She’s allergic to a bunch of stuff like you, what kind of flowers would you suggest?
Awesome friend: Edible arrangements.
Me: Oh okay. so no flowers…
Fearing further probing would expose me (hmmm), I just went with EA and ba da boom! I popped on their website to place an order. Super easy to navigate, they’re just like 1800 Flowers in that they have suggested items for special occasions. I didn’t want to get too expensive with a teddy bear mouthing Happy Birthday (not actually on the site. that I know of) so I went with a simple arrangement that came with chocolate covered strawberries. On the order page they allow you to pick and choose which fruits you want slathered in chocolatey goodness for an additional charge. Dangerous. Quite dangerous.

Score! Vibrant, fun, cool, AND useful. Oh Edible Arrangements. you rock! The only issue would be if you (as the recipient) have no place to store it. but I feel like you could eat up that stuff quick with your co-​workers help. I’ve yet to send an arrangement to someone’s apartment. that might get a little tricky if you want it to be a surprise. but EA can call your friend/​more than friend/​significant other/​stalkee to arrange a time for drop off. Slightly more expensive than ordering flowers online. but an awesome way to show some love without having your friend throw out smelly wilted flowers after a couple of days. Although Gerbera daisies. good ones. last 2 weeks. Well for me they do. talking to them helps. Yeah, TMI. I’m stopping now.

Edible Arrangments has the perfect idea. Its like sending someone flowers, except they’re made of fruit… and you can eat them. But they’re still pretty and smell good! I sent an arrangement with pineapple, melon and chocolate-​dipped strawberries to an old professor of mine who wrote me a reccomendation, and she said that it «was the nicest thing anyone’s done for [her] in a long time!» Either that’s a huge compliment to me… or a big dis to her husband… not sure which way to take it.
They have great service too, you can order online, but they called me while delivering the package. The man had trouble finding the location, and so instead of delivering a less-​than-​perfect product that had been in the truck for a while, they made a fresh one the next morning and delivered it with no extra charge! I think its a fantastic way to thank someone.

Great gift idea!!! Incredibly fresh fruit and yummy chocolate. Various arrangements for whatever occasion you may need one for. This is one gift that will certainly put a smile on anyone’s face… Cool for centerpieces as well if you want something different than flowers. Good delivery service and assortment of products.

So I picked up this CRAZY arrangement today that I ordered last week, because my boyfriend has always said that he wanted one everytime we went by a billboard or one of the stores. So it was part of his Valentine’s gift. I picked it up and is smells soooo yummy. You can tell it’s super fresh, and there are chocolate dipped strawberries I can’t wait to try. It’s beautiful, and though it was expensive, will definitey be appreciated with he gets home from work. AND we get fruit for dinner! YUMMY!
