Wow! That’s what my sister said when she got the floral arrangement Central Square made for her… after seeing a picture, I TOTALLY agree… WOW! Best floral arrangement I’ve ever gotten from a florist! Totally done by a Professional designer… I asked for something different in a vase, and they sent Bird of Paradise with perfectly coordinated canna lilies, roses, and other wonderful items in a spectacular arrangement! Use this florist! They know what they’re doing!!! 3 thumbs up!

I called from Arizona and ordered flowers yesterday for my daughter in Boston who had a new baby boy. Can’t say enough about what an awesome job they did. I called about 2pm and they delivered by about 4pm the most beautiful flower arrangement including a large blue teddy bear and it’s a boy balloon. My daughter loved it and so did everyone else in the room. Even took pictures with it and my new grandson. This florist has been doing business for many years and I can see why. They are professional and have the best customer service.

I ordered a flower basket for a relative who recently had a surgery via the online order form with same day delivery. The flower photo sent by the happy recipient showed big fresh flowers. I’m very happy with the quality of their flowers and the efficiency of their service. I will definitely order flowers from them in the future again.

I recently ordered flowers for my husband’s birthday. I started by looking on line at one of the national chain places, but before ordering, thought I’d given Central Square Florist a call and see what their prices might be. They were able to get exactly what I wanted for a 1⁄3 of the price of the large online site was going to charge for something that was NOT exactly what I wanted. I will definitely use them again.

This store repeatedly illegally parks their delivery truck on Mass Ave in an active turn lane in front of their store. This causes cars and motorcycles to swerve over and cross into the bike lane, which is dangerous. I called the store to complain before writing this review and spoke to the manager. She was not apologetic and acted like it was not a big deal as long as they left a car length in front of them (as the police have directed them to do). I logged a complaint with CPD and they do not allow parking there in any form. This is why I wrote the review, not to mention I cannot order flowers from your shop if I have to swerve out into another lane only to get creamed by a T bus causing me to be dead. Be a better neighbor.

I do not understand what service quality you provide. You claim to care about your customers by providing the best service you can. However, I experience how a poor service quality you have at central square florist, the flowers I ordered seemed to be the worst flowers you had at your location. Some of them were even black already the moment they were delivered. I used to be a constant user of your services every year but I will definitely stop. You just destroy the idea of sending flowers by delivering the worst quality flowers in town!!! I want my money back what a waste of money and time. Definitely none of my acquaintances will be using your service.

I randomly stopped in after having lunch in Central Square, and it was a really pleasant shop. Nice flowers, attentive staff. I have a soft spot for «sad flowers» that look like they might be on their way out. The $ 3 daisies (that are 2.5 feet tall) seemed like such a steal :)

Great selection and amazing service! I recently proposed to my longtime girlfriend and needed lots of rose pedals for my set up. I went in about 5 days before my ask and requested rose petals. Despite not formally selling them, they took my name down and said we will have some waiting for you. I walk in on the day I planed to ask and they handed me a large bag of multi covered rose petals, way more than I was expecting. I was able to create a great environment and they only charged me $ 10.
Couldn’t have done it without this florist. Great local business! Thanks for all the help!

I bought the «P.S. I love you bouquet» deluxe for my girl friend on Feb 11.
The rose is huge. And it is in excellent quality and really impressive. 5 stars!

WAS excited to order from this place after reading the reviews. Ordered a box of roses with greens for Valentine’s Day for a surprise. When I picked it up, it came in a white box! Wtf its freaking Valentine’s Day. Your website shows a black box or at least doe thing desirable. No worries and didn’t open it since there was a bow on it. Picked up my fiancé from the train station and surprised her with a box of flowers (didn’t open it yet). After arriving home, We opened it and another disappointment. The flowers look like they are picked and just thrown into a box. No arrangement what so ever. Greens were all over the place. If I’m spending 100 dollars on flowers, make it look nice. At least for the money’s worth. Take your money and go somewhere ELSE

After an unexpected surgery and hospital stay I was greeted with several floral arrangements from Central Square Florists when I finally arrived home. They were all gorgeous, fresh and have lasted for over a week! I’m completely pleased with the quality and will be using them on my next flower delivery occasion!

I walked in and said to an employee, «I want an indoor plant and I can’t tell you the name of the one I want because I don’t know any names, but I need something green.» Somehow, this sweet woman decoded my gibberish and for the next ten minutes, she walked me around the small store and offered details about each indoor plant. She was so visibly passionate about the plants that it made me really excited to make my purchase (which was a small red-​edge dracaena). The cashier was also friendly and neat. Really nice experience there!

I’ve gone to a bunch of different florists ranging from Kendall Square to Brattle Square to this one, as well as Winston’s (way overpriced!) and Jayne’s. This is more or less my go-​to-​place for arranged flowers, however infrequently I go.
They do both sets (and you can size up) and custom bouquets and I’ve been pretty pleased with what I’ve gotten. Yes, around January and February, roses are at a bit of a premium, but the mark-​up isn’t huge (not 2x or 3x).
There are usually like 3 people working the place and in general, I’ve been quite pleased with the product that they give me. Others have noticed they’re not super friendly and the selection is limited — if you order ahead, you can mitigate the limited selection. Customer service has ranged from a bit harried to functional. Not super friendly.

I used CSF for my wedding just last weekend. They were so easy to work with and reasonably priced as well. I was very happy with the arrangements!
I went to a few florists before going here and they wouldn’t even put together an arrangement for me without a fee or some sort of contract. I came in to speak to David at CSF and he immediately offered to put together what I wanted. Its hard to commit to something if you cannot see it arranged and CSF helped me figure out what I want without any commitments. They also have great prices. I found them to be the most reasonably priced compared to at least two other places I went to.
I worked with David and Jackie, his daughter. Both are great and easy to communicate with. They seem to genuinely care about what my reception would look like. This is not a feeling I got at other florists.
Definitely recommend them!

I’ve ordered from this florist for two years now for different occasions (birthdays, valentines, and «just because») and on each occasion the flowers were amazing! Their cut to last long and the vases are of high quality. The arrangements stand out from the rest!
I’ve never purchased from the store and have only used the online services. No problems there!

My mom was retiring and as a surprise I ordered the sangria bouquet from 1800Flowers (that this shop prepared and delivered) and they were gorgeous.
I am so pleased with the way they came out and my mom and her co-​workers loved them.
The glass was chilled and had pink water that was supposed to represent a glass of sangria. The arrangement lasted for about 1.5 weeks (she saved the dried flowers).
