McDonald’s

To be honest, I despise the food at McDonald’s but driving from Morgantown to Canton, this location was open at 1am so we decided to swing it and grab some fries (something we know tastes good here). We were so hungry, we opted to try the Southern Chicken Sandwich, which we were told was a knock off another popular fast food chain (with a cow as their mascot, hint hint).
The guy working the drive through was pleasant, energetic, knew the menu well and was honest when he said it would take seven minutes to cook the Southern Chicken Sandwich. We said we’d wait. And, did.
I took two bites and spit it out. How McDonald’s stays in business serving this quality food I have no idea. The hot dogs at 7 – 11 look better. What ticked us off most is if you’re going to make us wait nearly 10 minutes for a sandwich, please give us fries that are fresh. The fries we were given were literally cold. And, I mean cold. Not warm. We ate a few and continued north with a bad taste in our mouth and a wasted $ 12.
