In the I 70 corridor land of Bob Evans, Cracker Barrels and McDonalds, I will count The Forum as an Ohio treasure. Interesting menu, quick, friendly service and a memorable meal. Dolmades and spanakopita were tasty surprise accompaniments to the Greek salad. A great break in the 10 hour driving monotony! Do yourself a favor, skip the Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday and enjoy lunch from a kitchen, not the Sysco truck.

Big menu means what ever you are in the mood for you can get! I got the special pork chop and I was impressed, it was cooked perfectly. Also fun fact you can get a double side salad to go with your meal.

Seems that they either have a mix of really good and really bad cooks(and I caught a couple bad ones) or people giving this place 5 stars have never had quality food. Everything about the place says«quality food», to include the prices, except for the food. The service was average at best. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to brag about either. I ordered a steak and it was terrible. I ordered it medium rare and it was almost well done. Barely any pink in the middle. It was advertised as «seasoned» with their own blend of spices or something along those lines. Their spices must consist of air and heat, because I couldn’t taste anything but overcooked meat. The complimentary bread sticks weren’t bad, so I decided to come back and try an Italian dish. It tasted like it came out of the frozen food section at Walmart. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’d rather eat Stouffer’s frozen food than The Forum’s «fresh» food. At least Stouffer’s has a little flavor to their food. You’d think for the price they charge, they could afford to hire a decent cook.

We chose this place for an ‘adventure’ and we’re not disappointed. Good service, attentive Food was prepared with care and everything was just Good. The wide menu made us hesitant that they could perform with quality but they impressed! Good meatball subs.

The Forum is almost the mid-point between Columbus, OH and Pittsburgh(this exit also has a Sheetz). It’s extremely convenient to the interstate and a great option if you are looking for something other than Fast Food. I ordered the Greek Salad and would definitely order it again but would request less feta cheese. The salad came with three small flaky spinach and cheese quiche/pastries on top(think a two inch square each). My service was great for a lunch stop. We were in and out in less than an hour.

The Forum is a very wonderful place with great food and great service! Our food came out so fast even when tonight was crazy busy and our server was so nice! I definitely recommend this place when you’re very hungry! :)

Stumbled upon The Forum when searching for a place to eat heading back from OU in Athens. Friend recommended and much to our delight, we have returned several times. Amazing food.

We are weary travelers far from home and this place was quit welcoming. For The love of god people, dont go to applebees look for local gems such as the Forum. The Kopanisti app is soooo good and the drinks are strowng-a.

We needed a drink after a stressful day… this was right across from my hotel, so went there late on a Friday night. The drinks(Scotch and Vodka) seemed a bit watered down, ordered extra. Decent service at the bar. Nice little pies for desert. It seems to be a Greek restaurant but is called The Forum – wasn’t The Forum Roman?

We have been stopping here for years along 70 from Cincinnati to Connecticut. It’s a casual place with reasonable prices and good food. Not elegant it fancy or specialty, just good food. The burgers are tasty, the chicken is real chicken breast, and the Greek fare is good. The grape leaves are tasty, the spanakopita and tyropita are very good and flaky. The Greek salad is spring mix, tyropita, spanakopita, Kalamata olives, feta, grape leaves, and Greek dressing. Huge salad for less than $ 8. A good stop for non– fast food. I also liked the quesadilla, it was basic pub food. The gyro was tasty and tender and the tzatziki was tasty. Everything was hot, tasty, and fresh. It’s not a gourmet place, so come on by and enjoy a burger and fries or a gyro.

My meal was perfect. I had the salmon charbroiled with a tossed salad. The breadsticks alone would make you want to come back again. The waitress was on cue when it came to refills or just checking in on us to make sure we were satisfied. Fantastic place for dinner!

I don’t understand how this bar /restaurant has such good reviews. My experience was poor. Look, I understand I’m in the middle of nowhere ohio, and this isn’t fine dining by any means, but based on reviews I at least expected average food. This was well below that. After looking through the menu I was scared. They offer just about any type of food you’d like. Mexican, Greek, Italian, steak and seafood. You name it, they serve it. Problem is, if you can’t find a focus on what you want to be and what you’re good at its tough to be good at anything. I ordered an Italian sampler with lasagna, chicken parm, and spaghettini. The lasagna was obviously frozen and microwaved. It was soggy and cold in the center. You should be ashamed of yourself forum. People want to dine out to what they can’t get at home. Nobody wants to spend their hard earned money on your leftovers. The spaghetti was also oddly soggy. I guess it was sitting in water for who knows how long. The chicken was tough, probably also microwaved. Do yourself a favor and keep driving.

The place is pleasant enough, and the wait-staff was friendly enough(and food comes out quickly), but it’s mediocre when it comes to the food. As friendly as my waitress was, when I asked her about the Elvis pork chop, she couldn’t tell me much about it – she’d never tried it(nor could she really give me any recs from the menu when I asked). But it sounded good, so I ordered it anyway. First came a salad, which was all iceberg and not much else, other than some croutons and maybe a tiny shard of red onion. It came with Greek dressing, which was housemade, but the whole thing was bland. At the same time, warm bread came, and it looked promising(almost like garlic rolls), but it was also pretty bland. Still, redemption could be found in the main course. Or not. Unfortunately, Elvis had left the building, and the pork(It didn’t have the look of a chop, but more, as another reviewer said, pork medallions) he left in his place was bone dry(i.e. overcooked) and a bit of work to chew(again, because it was over), and the Italian seasonings supposedly on it lacked flavor. So it was basically like eating cardboard that had been processed from a pig. The broccoli accompanying it was probably a little more cooked than I’d do it at home, but again, it just lacked seasoning. I ended with some baklava, which was OK. It lacked the texture or flavor of a really good one like we get at the good places back in LA, but it was better than the rest of the meal. I doubt I’ll be back in this town anytime soon(ever?), but there are a lot of great small town restaurants. This one was staffed by nice people, but the food just wasn’t up to snuff. Sorry.

Another misguided review. I visited this place based on the comments from other Unilocalers and I’m sorry to say it should not be getting the ratings it has. I ordered the lamb gyro and it was pretty dry There was a decent flavor to the meal but they held back on the sauce. I also had the wings appetizer and all it is, is deep fried chicken with an ungodly amount of fat! On wings can you believe it, fat on wings???

This place was packed at lunch. We had a nice server that was really good at apologizing for the wait, but still taking FOREVER. I had rigatoni w/meatball special. It was cheap. You get one big meatball. The meatball was delicious. The pasta sauce was probably out of a jar. It was not good at all. If it wasn’t out of a jar, they should consider buying it in a jar. Mom got Elvis pork chops. Those weren’t pork chops. They were kind of pork medallions. They were boring and dry and Elvis would smack your mouth if you gave those to him. Got done and computers were down. That’s okay because I had cash… EXCEPT no one knew how to calculate tax. What a joke.

I agree with the other travelers. In this area of 70 that has very few restaurant choices, the Forum was a pleasant surprise. It was sooooo much better than the alternatives, e.g., Cracker Barrels and McDonald’s. We all had delicious dinners: pork chops, steaks, and chicken breasts. Adult portions are large and come with two sides. Kids portions come with one. Although we didn’t have any, the pizza liked great. Good breadsticks too. Sadly, we were too full for dessert.
