Got their pork ramen, and it was super disappointing. There wasn’t much pork, or noodles, and their broth doesn’t taste like it’s been made properly. Honestly tastes like fast food. I think the teppanyaki(noodles) was a bit better and actually had decent flavor, and there was a lot of food for the price we paid. I didn’t enjoy my meal here and wouldn’t come back again, since there are much better options right upstairs(Kaju) or downstairs(Bonchon).

Been going to for few years, Manager Daniel is very nice, and servers, such as Michael, Erin. My favorite is Chicken Ramen Soup. Love the bamboo shoots, spinach. Also love veggie dumplings and piece of chocolate cake I take to go if am full after the meal.

To start off the menu is very overpriced. I tried their yaki udon noodle dish which was pretty good expect for about 30 minutes later I had a stomach ache from eating it. Their dumplings however are very good and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice!

Mmmmmm so good. So affordable. Authentic? Prob not! But yum so many awesome and relatively healthy choices. Clean minimal interior and friends efficient service. And the only US stores are in the metro Boston area. Shhhhh don’t tell it’s our secret!

I’ve been to this location multiple times. Generally speaking, I like the place: the waiters happen to have nice attitude and be quick bringing the orders. On the dark side, the interior could be more cosy and welcoming.

Overpriced and poor quality ramen. The duck ramen costs $ 15. For $ 15 you get over cooked and soggy noodles in a lukewarm broth that tastes like it was made from a packet of seasoning powder. The duck is a shredded mess of seemingly pre-chewed meat. The tori kara’age consists of eight or so minuscule, over fried pieces of chicken that look like they were also chewed up and dumped into a freezer bag, stored for a couple of months, crushed in the freezer, then deep fried. This mess cost $ 6. Save your money and make some instant ramen. It’s the same quality, if not better. I would not recommend this place to my friends, nor will I ever come back.

Upon returning, yet again I received exceptional service. The food was amazing. You can really taste the freshness in the vegetables. Your able to watch the cooks as they prepare the meals. The restaurants cleanliness is almost close to perfect. My server Ramiro is a swell guy and a great smile to keep me feeling welcomed and comfortable. Other waitstaff checked on me as well which made me even more happy. I’ll return here and I’ll bring my friends and I recommend that you do the same

I guess it depends what you order, because apparently I enjoyed my first meal here. Came back with a friend last night. Service was fine but the food was straight up bad. I got the vegetarian pad thai. It was not pad thai but it was kind of bland, dried out noodles with five pieces of good tofu and for some reason there was a LOT of mint in this dish. Mint. In my pad thai. UGH! We also started with a beef bun to split. The filling was great, bun itself was dry and there was hardly enough filling to fill the entire(small) bun. I will not be returning.

Given that I lived in London right next to a wagamana for a long time, it was strange that I’m just trying it now here in the US, but I came in with a friend last Friday, and was very pleasantly surprised by our meal! Our server(whose name I’ve forgotten… she was wearing thick winged eyeliner!) was friendly and very accommodating of our questions about the menu. Nominally the food is Japanese but it’s really a fusion of Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, and Thai, so definitely don’t come in expecting an authentic experience from any one of those cuisines. I had the chicken katsu curry and a Korean beef and onion bun, while my friend had the chicken kare lomen(which could not be done veg unlike most of the items on the menu… I think there is chicken stock used in the broth?) I LOVED the beef bun – the sweet onion and beef went perfectly with a little Japanese mayo and the bun was nicely steamed. My katsu curry was not as good as the venerable Go Go Curry in Central Square, but the chicken was crispy and I appreciated the spice and thickness of the sauce. My friend seemed to really enjoy her lomen as well. I also had a sake mojito which was AWESOME. It is a little pricey(but that’s what’s to be expected in Harvard Square) and loud, so it’s not a place to go for a date or somewhere where you want to have intimate conversation. But if you’re just dropping in with a friend or a group it’s a very good spot. I’ll definitely be back for another bun and sake mojito!

[+] Convenient location for a fast casual restaurant [-] — Food quality was sub-par; signature fish item didn’t have enough salt, another signature ramen tasted like cheap box spaghetti — Server gave a wrong check and never came to check on food(server to guest ratio was 1:1) — Bottled beer was flat(second time around as well)

The scratch ain’t worth the bowl if you catch my drift. I’m saying the clams are too much for the soup… It’s too expensive and the ramen is mediocre.

Great overall experience. Dined on 8⁄7 Service was excellent! Our server(sadly forgetting her name) was very kind and great with recommendations. I had the Carrot Juice and Firecracker curry meal! juice was delicious though not very cold and the curry dish was extremely spicy but exactly what I was looking for! Only Con — my food came out 5 minutes before my partners. I would hope next time they are able to bring both dishes out together. I will be returning to this restaurant!

It’s not authentic food from any particular culture, but a fusion of good flavors. The good: pad thai and ramen bowls. The bad: Steamed gyoza was a bit too doughy. All in all, a good meal, if a bit on the expensive side. What they need: a better beer selection.

As an Asian American, I can appreciate innovations on authentic ethnic dishes, but«fusion» generally rubs me the wrong way. For me, fusion connotes mediocrity, full stop. Given those comments, this place is fine. The décor is refined and bougie enough, and the food is adequate — just nothing special. Knowing what more authentic versions of these taste like, I also find these dishes overpriced. Personally, I’d skip.

I thought this place was only a chain Asian restaurant but it turned out to be so good! The place close to Harvard Yard looks like an old McDonald’s with new furniture, but the food is so great we decided to go back a couple of times. I ordered one of the curries and it turned out to be one of the best I have tried. I order the same thing every time I went back, it was so good. They have vegetarian and vegan options and the waiters we got were super nice and attentive.

wagamama is always a great place for a quick meal, and this location is no exception. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. As usual, I had the sake mojito. This is one of my favorite cocktails, and wagamama does it well. On my last visit, I ordered the duck ramen. The duck had been pre-cooked, so it had lost a lot of the duck flavor. Overall, the dish was still good, and we enjoyed our meals.

I came here with three other people at 7:00 on a Friday. We arrived shortly after 7:00PM and the first red flag should have been: there were many available seats. This is apparently a gluten-free friendly dining establishment, so I was willing to try it out. I ordered the chicken itame yesterday, expecting a flavorful dish that would leave me craving more. I asked the waiter whether it was gluten-free, whether it was mild, and whether I could get a lighter portion, or whether I could have a lighter dish. He said, «Yes,» to all of these things, but the dish came out and it was this lukewarm broth with some, but not all, of the ingredients listed on the menu. I think there were two beansprouts total in my bowl. There was hardly any chicken in my bowl, and I assume that I was paying that premium price mostly for the chicken. I couldn’t really consume the food because it was lukewarm, it was mostly just broth, and it didn’t seem to do anything for my appetite. If I could go back in time, I would choose a place that is actually allergen-friendly. Don’t get me wrong: wagamama does a decent job, but it’s definitely not a place I can envision myself visiting again while I still have celiac disease. Oh, so that means, …I can’t envision myself visiting again, EVER.

I am an out of town Unilocaler and am also a noodle addict. I stumbled upon this place just walking around. Went into this place and its open atmosphere with the trendy long tables is amazing. The server seated us and after we hung our coats on the coat hanger came immediately to get our drink order and suggested a great starter for us. We had duck guyazo which is like steamed and grilled dumplings. Then I had yaki soba and a Upside down Frown Drink. The food was great and the drink was too. While you wait they have provided you with a sheet of orgami paper and some instructions on the back of your place mat. Kind of the first time I have been to a restaurant where they have you play with yourself for entertainment before you eat. Great concept. Great job guys. I did get a latte to go because it was snowing and it was super tiny and lack luster. I guess you can’t have it all.

The calamari was delicious! It’s cut into long pieces instead of small circles. Loved it and will come back for it! Everything else we ordered tasted a bit Americanized. The Mongolian beef had a lot of soy sauce and I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn’t so salty. My friend ordered the ramen with chicken which was also very salty. Overall the service was good and the food was ok.
