At first I was pleased with how fast my service was. Like, super SHOCKED. Then when I opened my sandwich, it was evident that it had been sitting there for a while. the mayo turned clear, and everything was kind of soggy, and melted together. This explains why my service was so fast. ugh.

Consistently get great fresh fast food here late at night.(They’re open super late.) Their employees don’t seem the happiest but they’re no problem. The menu is extensive and their soda fountain must be huge. The chilli cheese fries and fish sandwich are favorites of mine.

I have always loved Checkers’ food, which is the only reason I’m giving this location a two-star rating. Everything else here sucks. You should expect to wait about ten minutes whether you go during busy or slow times, drive thru or inside order. I typically choose the drive-thru during the late evenings. The staff are total zombies, unpleasant tone of voice, get snappy with you for asking simple questions, and just plain seem to have no enthusiasm for their jobs. My main issue is that the past few times I’ve gone here, I never got a receipt and feel as though I was overcharged by about $ 5 or so. Last night I went through the drive-up lane, placed my order, and when I came up to the pay window I asked to go over my order one more time. I was actually being served by a manager just by coincidence, and they pretended not to hear me, so I repeated the question again, and they slammed the window in my face. When I got to the next window, a different staff member gave me my bags and told me there was a reciept on the bag(for once). However, when I looked at the receipt, all it showed was a list of items and total at the end, and not how much each item costs. I guess I’m just gonna stop going here and I’ll have to do without Checkrs unless I’m in Philly from now on.
