Italian sausage poor boy with onion rings. Sweet, not hot sausage which was good. Onion rings were GREAT. Usually disappointed with undercooked, cakey and greasy rings. Not so with these. They were light, crisp and tasty. Was impressed with the HD in the men’s loo for those extended visits.

Cheap eats option in Camden. They will cook your lobster(bring your own love lobster) for a buck which is a cool deal. Typical bar food and ambiance. A local vibe but worth a shot for lunch or dinner.

Cuzzy’s is a great casual bar spot in Camden, low key with nice beer selection and good bar food. Staff has always been welcoming and friendly. Good for families as well earlier in the evening with a low key atmosphere and kid friendly food!

Cool, no-nonsense, two-story pub with two bahs, both full of locals on a Friday aftanoon drinking their bee-yas. Decent menu and prices. The clam chowda was great. The grilled cheese sandwich was probably the worst I evah had: they use some sort of white cheese? Is that an east coast thing… or a Maine thing… makes sense, everything here is so white. I guess I’m used to mine being orange, with more buttery burntness. They made up for it with the huge amount of «round fries», which are potato slices(much like Shakey’s Pizza mojos without the battah). The onion rings are a little greasy but good. Not a great wine selection. Great service. Flatscreen in the men’s restroom, so you don’t miss the Red Sox lose while you’re peeing(just a joke from an Angels fan). Seems to be the most unpretentious and fun bah in a five mile radius.

I stopped at Cuzzy’s for drinks and dinner last week, and it was the highlight of my trip to Camden. The bartender was running around like crazy, taking care of everyone downstairs on his own, but he did an awesome job, and was smart and funny, too. Our steak was excellent, our drinks were strong, and we headed upstairs afterward. After a couple games of ping pong, we sat at the bar, met other people, and were greeted by a very friendly bartender, but I can’t remember her name. It was super fun, and we’ll be back next time I’m in town. Cuzzy’s is a keeper.

So this place was our third option as we realized everything was closed on a Sunday evening… We walked in to the bar and it was relatively quiet… two people at the bar, and about four tables with customers… We sat at the bar I soon realized the bartender was also the food runner, host, and waiter… talk about running around! This guy was Kevin, as we found out later, and he reminded me of a spazzed out character from an episode of Seinfeld. That being said he was amazingly gracious, funny, and busted his ass making sure everyone had a cocktail and their food on time! Bloody Mary was delicious and not some crappy tomato juice that was made in a factory in Detroit. It was homemade and came with a dill pickle which was a nice treat! We weren’t in a huge rush to order but while we were looking at the menu the chef came out to get water for herself. She overheard us talking about nachos and she asked if she wanted her to put an order in! As Kevin was busy I said hell yeah! Super nice of her and showed great team Work with Kevin! We had the nachos and they were amazing!!! It was served with home made chili and enough jalapeños to make my lips feel like I was hit by a flame thrower. Kevin is the perfect bartender for a place in a touristy spot. He’s accommodating, engaging, and very personable! He definitely made the experience even better!!! If you want great service, tasty from scratch food, and don’t mind being a little patient come check it out. If you want fast in and out service go to Wendy’s and enjoy your commercialized crapoy vacation eating a junior bacon burger in your 1993 Toyota tercel. We ended up coming back at 830 to shoot pool, for free mind you, and play ping pong! It’s super fun and the vibe is very chill. The bartender was Aaron who happened to be spazzy mcgee’s roomate(Kevin). Aaron’s did not disappoint. Perfect bartender for the upstairs of Scuzzys! At this point we were hungry again and no one was open for delivery or anything. Aaron gave us home made pastries his friend gave him… what a great gesture! Soon thereafter Kevin came to the bar to hang out! He saw we were eating cookies and asked if we were still hungry. We were. He went into the kitchen reheated delicious wings he was gonna take home for himself and gave them to us! It’s things like this that make a restaurant go from good to great. Two guys busting their ass on a Sunday night to make money and are willing to do whatever it takes to make the customers happy and stay longer! We ended up hanging out for 4 hours, trading war stories and having a blast! I really hope the owners see this and show much appreciation to the guys that took care of us today. As a former restaurant employee these guys are what make restaurants succeed. Well be back!!‘ We came back the next day and were welcomed by Tegan(not sure of spelling). She is equally as rad as Aaron and Kevin and couldn’t have been more hospitable! This place is lucky to have such amazing staff!!! They could be making major coin in a big city like Boston or Providence where I am from and have worked in the restaurant business! It takes a certain person to have great conversations with their patrons while being intuitive to new customers and ones that are currently there… well, I can’t say enough about it. Cuzzy’s will be our go to spot on our next trip to Camden and hopefully the staff is still around to make our trip that much more enjoyable! Thank you Kevin, Aaron, and Tegan for making our vacation incredibly memorable. Not just by serving cocktails and nachos but making us feel like«Maine-ahs» for a weekend!

Ended up here for drinks and karaōke. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Good song selection, great drinks, and good food. I’d say give it a try. Plus they had a ping pong table!

My friend cut her hand on broken glass left on a table, and then she fell down the stairs because the stairs were incredibly slippery and dangerous. I saw two others fall too. Get it together, Cuzzy.

We stopped in for a quick cup-o-chowder after hiking up nearby Mt Battie. Service was a bit slow and it seemed the bartender was doing everything but cooking. It is the off season, so I’m guessing they cut some staff. The chowder was just above average but the wings were very good. The bartender augmented our bowls of chowder with additional cups as he felt they were under filled. I had a delicious glass of vanilla porter that was on tap. Two bowls of chowder, an order of wings and a beer= $ 32…

My wife and I left Portland disgusted after paying $ 40 for a lunch that consisted mostly of salad greens and a watery soup. After reading too many posted«market price» lobster dinners, we drove to Camden and found Cuzzies. We both had 2 boiled lobster dinners that included French fries and corn on the cob. Even with drinks our total did not break our budget. Our waitress was attentive even though she was working the room alone The pub atmosphere was warm, relaxing and casual. Will definitely stop there on our way back!

I have no idea why this place has less than 4 stars — we were in Camden for the week and enjoyed a great lunch here. it’s pub like food was a great change for us. we came back for drinks another night as well. wait staff was friendly, locals and out of town folks all seemed happy with their meals, and we certainly enjoyed our lunch. we had a mix of appetizers, incredibly fresh salads, and I enjoyed the chowder — all delicious and filling — drinks specials were fantastic and the atmosphere, comfortable.

We went here after trying Fresh, which had a three-year wait… it was unpretentious food – i had a kale, broccoli pizza with grilled chicken that was tasty. The side salad was big and had plenty of sliced onion and peppers. My dad had a beer-battered haddock that was tasty, and my mom liked the burger. The guys waiting on us were very friendly and attentive. It was a lowkey, tasty dinner. Nothing fancy, or expensive.

Wife and I ate dinner here a couple nights ago. She had a very good burger, tender and juicy even though she had it medium well. I had a lobster quesadilla that was kick-ass. Good friendly service at the bar, where we sat. If I find myself back in this pretentious little town again for any reason, this will be where I eat and drink.

We’ve been coming to camden for years but only recently tried Cuzzy’s. We were super happy to discover they had excellent pub style food. The burgers, salad, and chowder were all excellent. For some reason this place is not as popular as Cappy’s which is just down the street. This place is less expensive and the food is far better quality.

We were passing through looking for a local place that wasn’t too pricey and we were happy to have found Cuzzy’s. Our server was so sweet, friendly and gave us great service. Everything was really good, we had calamari for an app, clam chowder and fish and chips and it was all tasty! If your in Camden check them out!

My husband and I went to Camden for our anniversary and we ate here both days we stayed. The bartenders and waitresses were awesome, very nice and had a sense of humor… Which was nice for a change considering 99% of the Camden population we encountered were snobby and acted as if they were above others in some way. We don’t drink but found that even though this is a bar, the food was fantastic and company was cool. If you get the chance, grab the burgers or brat dinner. :)

I wouldn’t rate this place a 1 – 2 for sure, was tempted to give them a 4 just to counteract the other bad reviews. The clam chowder was 5 star worthy, it was definitely one of the best I’ve had. I also ordered a burger, medium, but it was served medium-well. Otherwise, it was pretty good. The service was good– friendly and prompt. I would have liked the place to be a bit cleaner though. The cloth napkins needed upgrading, they were clearly washed/sanitary but old stains on them. The floor/carpeting also looked fairly beat. The prices were definitely fair. I’d eat lunch here again, I just wasn’t impressed(other than the chowder).
