I went to a few thrift shops while I was in the mid-coast Maine area and this one wasn’t my favorite, but it was still a quaint little thrift shop. They have lots of clothes, some kick-knacks and random things, but not much variety. There wasn’t much past XL sizes but they had some good stuff and the clothing was organized very well on all the racks. The clothes were pretty affordable, and if you take the time to look through them you’ll find something good! We stayed within walking distance of this store which was nice so I got to take my time looking through the stuff. Not my favorite thrift store, and not really worth going way out of your way for, but definitely worth taking a look at if you’re in the area! The women I met who worked there were also really sweet. :)

Heavenly Threads is an untapped goldmine! One of my favorite vintage stores in Midcoast Maine, Heavenly Threads has provided me with many pieces over the past couple years. Just to name a few– some black t-strap character shoes in mint condition, a lord and taylor limited edition peach button up blouse, adorable vintage green coat with mink trim, and many more. I even spied a white fox fur coat there one year but I couldn’t bring myself to a) pay $ 150 for it and b) wear fox fur around on a daily basis and still like myself. The ladies(and some husbands) at Heavenly Threads are members of the church that’s next door, and they volunteer their time in the shop. All the proceeds the shop makes go towards the Church. The members donate their one of a kind vintage to sell in the shop. It’s an all around adorable set up, really. The only thing I don’t like about Heavenly Threads is that they aren’t open on random days once in awhile, when I plan on going there — and I can’t search through their amazing finds for the short time that I’m home in the Midcoast.
