There is a wide selection of trees here. The terrain goes from flat land to very steep. The prices were very reasonable; $ 54. For any tree under 10 ft. We stopped at a tree farm right off the main drag that was charging $ 72. All the staff was very nice and helpful. The saws were well sharpened. They only accept cash or checks(who writes checks anymore?) We have cut down trees in Apple Hill many times. They are always fresh and stay nice way past New Years.

Last weekend was our second visit to this lovely tree farm. We stumbled upon it last year and loved it! This year, we couldn’t remember the name or location of this wonderful place, so again we drove around looking for a suitable tree farm. Again, we stumbled upon Crystal Creek Farm. Again, we loved it! It’s just right. It’s not po-dunk, but neither is it over-the-top. It’s just perfect. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. We like wandering up and down the hills exploring the very wide variety of trees that are very well cared for and healthy. There’s a turtle pond, a trout pond, a «bear cave», and cozy apple trees falling asleep for their winter’s nap. At the top of one hill is a huge and gorgeous holly bush trimmed in the shape of a Christmas tree. Just lovely!

This is our second year coming to this farm. This year it was covered in snow which was awesome. It’s a fairly large farm with a wide variety of trees to select from and cut down. We had a harder time this year finding larger trees to select from so we did a lot more walking in knee deep snow. We ended up with an 11′ tree. The prices are a little steep $ 49 for any tree under 12′ and $ 64 for anything over. I thought about getting a 2′ tree too but not for $ 49. There are other farms in the area at $ 4/foot. They have hot chocolate once you buy your tree too. They are a dog friendly property so lots of dogs around. Next year we will bring them. Overall it is a great family place.
