Wish I could have tried the pizza here. Heard it was good. However, upon calling to order I asked«do you deliver» and some rude female said«uhhh no. No we don’t deliver» and I went to tell her that’s ok I’ll pick it up and she decided to hang up before I could say another word. Called back to mention it to her that I still wanted to order and was told there was no female working there right now. Maybe I’ll end up trying it once they’ll actually speak to me.

This place is great, anybody can make good pizza, but its the extra things that put a place over the top. Its always clean, its always friendly, and I feel like they do their best to remember loyal customers. For me, the biggest thing is that if I go in for a couple slices, they will not serve me a old, dry slice, they have on many occasions asked if I minded waiting for a fresh slice. To me, this is going the extra mile, and really making sure the customers are happy. Well done GBP! Best Pizza in New Cumberland, Camp Hill, Lemoyne area.

For some reason I love subs! And their homemade pizza rolls are awesome! I usually order the Italian sub on the pizza roll! Their subs are pretty big and I can usually make two meals out of it! Their pizza is also good but I’m hooked on the subs!

Had this as take out from a vendor of mine. Pizza was good and so were the subs, a chicken parm and meatball. I would order again.

A busy restaurant indicates a quality product and reasonable prices. This place is always busy and is one of the best examples of NY style pizza in the area.(They use Grande cheese which makes a huge difference.). Their Strombolis, subs and salads are all excellent as well, not to mention the several varieties of pizza they offer. Check out the daily lunch specials too. You can’t go wrong.

Not many places get. 5 stars from me, but GBP has earned it. I enjoy the taste of their pizza and my wife loves some of their specialty white slices. The food is consistently good and the service is solid. We’re usually here during peak times and their pickup times are right on. Tonight they weren’t busy but we’re out of slices of what my wife wanted. They offered to make a full pie and sell me the slices I wanted. Don’t see people going out of their way like that very often. I wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often.

I’ve been eating here for almost a decade & I love it! The food is fast, delicious & reasonably priced. The staff is fantastic & the place is always clean. They offer the standard«pizza shop» items, but also some awesome meals. Best place around!

For those of you who are familiar with my reviews, it should come as no surprise that on my first visit to the Harrisburg-area we stopped to try-out the local pizza & wings. Food: Like with any new pizza place that I try for the first time, we ordered a large cheese pizza and an order of wings. Pizza: It was a good pizza. It didn’t blow-me-away; but it had some really well-developed flavors. Pizza is one of the few things that you can order where the end-product is a result of all of the components of the dish coming-together and melding in harmony with one another. This pizza definitely achieved a level of harmony that many do not. Dough: The dough was a very basic dough — but well executed. It had a slightly crispy texture on the outside, with a nice doughy/chewy consistency on the inside. In terms of texture, it was near perfect. For me, I would have liked the crust a little crispier, and cooked in the oven a little longer. The taste of the dough was a little on the bland side, but was still a great canvas on which the rest of the pizza was painted. Dough: 3⁄5 Sauce: I believe that the sauce may be one of the most vital components in bringing the rest of the components into harmony with one another. Unlike the cheese and the dough which have limited ways to alter the flavor of the pizza; the sauce can completely change the flavor profile of the entire pie — from salty, to savory, or even to sweet. This sauce, I thought, was very good. It was really well-balanced between salty and sweet, while also maintaining a really fresh-tomato flavor. I am a big fan of basil, and wish that there had been a little bit more pronounced of a basil flavor; but overall, the sauce had a real nice finish to it. Sometimes, when a sauce isn’t made properly, you can get an acidic aftertaste that completely nukes the pie. This sauce maintained a fresh, clean flavor that really aided in elevating the other components of the pizza. Sauce: 4⁄5 Cheese: I am picky about my cheese. Moreover, I am picky about the consistency and texture of my cheese. To start, the cheese was good. It had a great melt-ability, and spread-out in a nice sheet across the pie. It was really well-balanced in terms of salt, and provided a really nice, clean flavor. No strange aftertaste that some cheese have. However, I am the type of person that firmly believes that mozzarella cheese needs to be slightly browned into all of those golden-brown bubbles in order to develop the full scope of flavors and texture. This pizza definitely did not do that, and that was the biggest disappointment for me. I find that the pizzas that have the nice, bubbly cheese with golden-brown patches develop the most flavor of any pizza. Cheese: 3⁄5 Overall Pizza Value: The overall score of the pizza is a 4 for me, despite the numbers adding-up to 3.33. Because the pizza was so incredibly-well-balanced, and was even enjoyable to eat cold, I felt the need to offer is the .67 ‘bump’ Wings: I am picky about my wings. I like a classic chicken wing, fried, crispy, moist on the inside, with a homemade buffalo sauce that sticks appropriately to the wing. Unfortunately, Giuseppe’s did not deliver this to me. Although I have respect and admiration for wings that do not fit my preferred description, I have found that none have stacked-up to a classic buffalo wing. This was also the case at Giuseppe’s. The wings were coated in some sort of breading/batter that made them extra crispy. I do like the crispiness, but not in the form of a breading. I like the natural crispiness from the crunchy skin. For me, the breading significantly detracted from the wing, and left a little bit of an oily taste in my mouth. Admittedly, the chicken wing was nice and moist on the inside; but the natural flavor of the wing was inhibited by the unpleasant coating. The sauce was basically Franks, or Texas Pete. They opened it up, put it in a plastic ramekin, and served it on the side. The bleu cheese was the same. It was just a packet of Ken’s. Now, I like Ken’s, but it is not my choice of bleu cheese for wings. Wings: 2⁄5 Overall Food: 3⁄5 Service: The service was rushed, but friendly. They were obviously very busy, but the girl at the counter was efficient and got us our order pretty quickly. Service: 4⁄5 Atmosphere: I love sit-down pizza places. Giuseppe’s is charming, homey, and welcoming. I do believe that it could use a little bit better of a cleaning, but it was passable. The décor was tasteful, given the type of cuisine; and I enjoyed the vibe. Atmosphere: 3⁄5 Price: For what we got, the price was good. I wasn’t fond of the wings, but the quality of the pizza was worth what we paid. Price: 3⁄5 Final Thoughts: In the end, although Giuseppe’s delivers a solid pie, the wings really let me down. I will continue my search for a pizza and wing place that meets my rigorous demands; but it is nice to have a solid place like Giuseppe’s at my disposal so close to my home.

Decent pizza and friendly staff. We were on the hunt for good NY style pizza. My brother is moving to this area so we began his process of scouting out the good pizza joints with a visit to Giuseppe’s. The nice part about this place is that it is not a typical take out pizza joint like I’m used to: it had a decent amount of tables, there were pizza condiments to bring to your table(oregano, crushed red pepper, parmesan, etc), and the workers delivered your food to the table. This place is between a restaurant and a typical take out pizza place. Upon walking in, you go up to the counter to order and pay, but once your food is ready, they will bring it to you fresh plus actual plates(not paper). The interior was quite nice with pictures and hints of personal decorations(such as the ceiling once you walk in). They, of course, had pre-made pizzas at the counter which you could order by the slice and they had a wide array of menu options(pizza, calzones, appetizers, and subs). The one area which I believe was lacking were their chicken wing selections. They only had the option of buffalo(although the hot sauce is served to the side). We ended up ordering a large cheese pizza and an order of their chicken wings(with extra hot sauce). The wait wasn’t very long, maybe 15 minutes, and we received a fresh out of the oven pizza right to our table. It was typical thin crusted New York pizza, but not quite up to par. It was still very good, but it lacked a certain touch which pizzas from other traditional NY joints have. It could have been the cheese or the sauce. There was plenty of both but something was off. The dough was pretty standard, nothing spectacular, but average. The chicken wings were unique: they were essentially fried chicken with hot sauce to the side. I really enjoyed them but if you are looking for traditional buffalo wings this is not your place. The wings were battered and fried. They were very crispy on the outside(as you would expect from fried chicken) and the inside was cooked perfectly. I would get them again. I give kudos to the staff because as the cashier was about to bring our food out she noticed that we only had one side of hot sauce even though I asked for extra and she went out of her way to ask the cooks for more. This was before our food was even brought to our table; I overheard her up at the counter. I was impressed that she remembered and went out of her was to deliver great customer service. She was very pleasant and helpful which was a plus as well. Overall, I don’t know what other pizza options there are in Harrisburg region, but this one is a pretty good one. It’s not blow you out of the water pizza but it still satisfies that craving for NY style pizza. The prices were fair and the service was very friendly.

Excellent pizza and salad. They make a great house dressing. Sandwiches are great too. Not a lot of great pizza in this area but this is a gem.

It’s my go-to place even though I have to pass three pizza places before I get there. It is consistently good and the prices are very reasonable. I enjoy their pizza and subs. I love getting their grilled chicken or antipasti salad for lunch — but it is much better if you eat it there instead of getting take out.

I enjoyed the chicken salad I ordered with a light vinaigrette, however my sister and her husband both mentioned their food was«nothing special» they had ordered subs, meat ball and an eggplant, and we’re not impressed. I would like to try the pizza as I have heard good things and I will be back, but this experience was not the best.

I love this place because it is consistently fantastic. Yummy salads, pizza, subs.. . everything is delicious. It has been the same guys behind the counter too since I remember. Their dough is my favorite, I could just sit and eat their rolls alone they are so tasty. This place really is the best, if only I lived closer I’d be a fixture!

Wow! Decent Pizza in PA!!! I cannot tell you how many times we are on a rode trip and we find a pizza menu that says how good they are… not so much. This menu was simple, and promised nothing. The result was a very tasty NYC style pizza. Being from NYC I am a pizza snob, and this place passes the test. Mozzarella sticks and fried zucchini were also very good. Please know that this gets four stars because it is four stars for this area. If this was aN NYC place it would be a solid 2.5−3 stars, but that is not bad. Definitely worth an order!!! Prices good as well . Yaaay!

Always good pizza this is my local walk to place to go. I am glad they moved in because they really do and have for the last 10 years or so make a quality pizza and sandwhich. They also make a variety of Italian specialties and some excellent dinner salads. Although they keep a simple but relaxed atmosphere they welcome you each time as if you were their best customer.

I have to say as a Torontonian our pizzerias(avoiding major chains) are quite expensive, I mean dough, sauce and cheese should not be something for me to invest in. In the middle of making dinner the stove decided to stop working, our quickest option was pizza. I was fascinated that we could pick it up in 10 min. One bite and I was in heaven. The dough is thin but so soft and buttery, my pepperoni is cooked and there is plenty of cheese. It was just then trying to show off with the mushroom addition. I allow myself another slice because seriously I have yet to find this back home.
