Absolutely Terrible. They’re lucky I HAVE to give them one star. I started going to this place once I started working in the mall and after going there maybe three times I decided I hated it. I was never happy with the simple manicure I always got. No acrylics, just a simple manicure, my 13 year old sister does a better job. Not to mention how expensive this place is. So I found a new salon and never went back. Skip forward to last night the day before Easter around 6 pm. I had just gotten off work and it was the only salon open. I was desperate so I decided to go back to them and get a pedicure. I walk in and tell them what I want and before I could even pick a color she was telling me where to go. And continued to tell me over and over again until I just grabbed whatever color was in front of me. I went back an sat down and noticed all the other chairs were being cleaned. A woman comes over and looks at my toes and I tell her that I have shellac on them and she tells the guys that’s doing my toes. After sitting for a while with tin foil wrapped around them he scraped the paint off(which i was charged for but was never told) he finally starts to run the water. Starts talking to the woman next to him in whatever they speak and tells me to put my feet in the water. IT’S FREEZINGCOLD! I tell him and he looks up and says sorry no hot water. Now do you want to explain to me how they run out of hot water??? I continued my pedi and put up with cold water when I was finally done now miserable instead of relaxed he told me to pay. When I asked how much he did some math in his head and said $ 31.00 I told him that this was the worst pedi I’ve ever had and since I had to get mine I asked for a discount. He said no sorry nothing I can do. Feeling totally unrelated and walked all over I walked out cheated and upset. I will never go back there again and I will never recommend anyone to go there ever. These people will cheat you out of your money and charge you for things you don’t even realized. Any other salon would be better and this one.

Wish I could give them zero stars. Stay away from this place. They only want your money. I went here to get a full set of acrylics and a pedicure. I was already in the mall so it was convenient. The pedicure was a joke. The girl spoke absolutely no English so I couldn’t even tell her what I wanted. To be honest, I don’t know what I even paid for but all they did was slather a few things around for a few seconds. Forget about communicating anything complicated like«please don’t scrub so hard around my recent scar from my broken ankle.» Then I was handed off to another girl that didn’t speak English. I told her I wanted a full set and then she was asking if I wanted«gel» acrylics and I asked her to explain what that meant. She couldn’t. Feeling bad, I said to go ahead. I’m sure this is just how they make more money because I didn’t notice any difference between other full sets I had and this«gel» one. This point I will address again below. The full set was terrible. The girl did not put the acrylic far back enough even though I had already taken upon myself to push back my cuticles, and she put it on very thick. So it looked like they were already growing out before I walked out of the salon! I guess because I didn’t have anywhere better to go, I returned for my fill exactly 2 weeks later for the next two times. The second time, I asked the guy to get the acrylic all the way back. He probably did the best of the three times I went there, but it didn’t seem to me that they were doing enough to take off the parts of the acrylic that weren’t well adhered to the nail. Also, he asked me if I had had«gel» or regular. Since I still wasn’t sure what that was, I said I didn’t know. He took the polish off with remover and said«regular.» So what did I pay extra for?!? By the time I got my second fill, it was clear they were not doing a good job taking off the acrylic that wasn’t adhered to the nail and I was already looking for alternative salons. But I needed a fill and went back. The girl spent more time looking around and checking her phone that working on my nails. A friend recommended Amazing Nails on the Carlisle Pike and I decided to go there for my next fill. Several days before going, I noticed black spots that seemed to be under the acrylic. Thank goodness I never developed fungus; it was only mildew from the pockets these people had left in the acrylic from their carelessness. The girls at Amazing Nails have taken good care of me since. I had to get all of the nails taken off after only 2 fills at LA Nails in order to clean them and get a good set put on. But I’m very thankful to have found Tran and Quiyan at Amazing Nails! You can check out my review for them on their page!
