Yum! Cheap and delicious Mexican food with friendly, lovely service? Yes, please! My friend and I were visiting Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot when our stomachs started asking for some sustenance. A quick Unilocal search led us here and it was so worth it. I had the fish taco platter, which included two generously loaded tacos and rice and beans. D had the burrito, which was obviously delicious because she happily chowed down. The staff are so nice and we were brought chips fresh out of the fryer while we were waiting. The hot salsa wasn’t as spicy as I expected but it was really delicious.

Visiting here from Maine this is probably the 10th Mexican place we have had food and was some of the best freshest and most creative to have daily specials and in spite of looking like a typical fast food restaurant the food was great

So good! Homemade corn chips, BEST guacamole we’ve ever had, loaded nachos… wish we had been able to try everything! So glad we stopped here. Love supporting great local restaurants and this is definitely that. We will be back whenever we are in the area!

I went there on a Thursday, which is burritos for 6 bucks day… The person helping me at the register didn’t seem at all like she wanted to be there. Almost like I was bothering her. The table that I was waiting for my to go burrito was dirty and wet… But, dang it, I ordered the shrimp burrito,(yes for 6 bucks), and it was delicious… I will be back… Mm mm good

If you’re passing through and need some grub, take the extra 5 minutes and come here instead of the fast food shops. Amazing authentic and reasonably priced Mexican. Highly satisfying breakfast burritos

Since I’ve moved back to AZ from NM, I’ve found local Verde Valley Mexican food to be bland and ordinary. .. except for Gabriela’s. I loved it before and I love it now. Lucky for me, Gabriela prides herself on being consistent(among many other things). I love her salsa, too! We hired her to cater our mother’s 90th birthday party(about 40 people). We were not disappointed. She cooked it, delivered it, set it all up and came back the next day to pick up her equipment. Her portions are generous and her prices are reasonable. This woman is amazing: hard working, conscientious, a great cook and a lovely human being!

While I may not be a fan of the chorizo breakfast burrito which I ate on my drive back to Las Vegas last week, the tamales this week are over-the-top amazing and perhaps the best other than my homemade I’ve ever had. This is saying a lot. I know what kind of tamales I like and I very clearly know full well what kind I can’t abide. Get them while they’re hot now, they started making them October 11 and I assume they will cease making them after the holidays. The Masa has a touch of chili and the pork is flavored to perfection. These are smaller than my homemade and perhaps slightly smaller than what one might get at Costco or even my favorite Mexican market in Las Vegas. But they are fresh they are flavorful they are moist and not gummy as some tamales tend to be. If you’re traveling from Phoenix to Flagstaff and stop for gas at this Camp Verde exit Gabriellas is right across from the big Shell station. There’s plenty of seating the restrooms are clean and the food is cooked fresh to order. Restore your soul with some excellent Mexican food.

With all the choices around of the well known food places, we chose Gabriella’s. A GREAT choice! The service was friendly, the chips and salsa were fabulous and every dish we had was authentic, freshly made and delicious. Gabriella is delightful. If you like Mexican and happen to be in Camp Verde, don’t miss this one…

For a roadside café anywhere, in particular ARIZONA, this place is top shelf, off the hook and whatever other superlatives one might apply. Fast service, great salsa and chips, clean rest room, friendly staff, awesome carnitas and the Chile Relleno was utterly scrumptious. If you find yourself driving from Phoenix to Sedona or Flagstaff, drop in and grab a burrito, you won’t be disappointed and its 30 seconds from I 17. Go, just go.

Stopped here for quick food on the way back flag. The two youngsters up front were very nice and helpful. I had the asada burrito. Wonderful. Great. My friend had a machaca Ranchero breakfa d t burrito. Good too. Loved the horchata and hot salsa. Mild was watery — but I’m a gringo so take that with a grain salt. Will be a regular so on my way to and from the high country

Not a lot expected. Girlfriend got the breakfast burrito and it was large and they accommodated her special requests. They were just about to open he newly renovated cantina part so we couldn’t get a beer but the counter server offered the bottled sodas. Love my some piña, girlfriend wanted an advertised coke in a bottle but they were out. Restroom was clean and my carne asada tacos were decent. I did like the tortillas. Salsa I could pass on but was complimentary. Three odd things: 1. All they played was Selena. Don’t get me wrong I love Selena. I own the greatest hits cd. So I was able to sing the whole time I dined but change it up. 2. Hide all the groceries that you bought at the grocery store. Dining out is an illusion and I like to believe I get things I couldn’t get at home. I don’t want to see the branded items in plain view. 3. There’s a large portion of their menu and wall space dedicated to vegetarian dishes. I only found this odd because we were passing through a small town and it made me think, apparently there’s a huge vegetarian presence here. I wouldn’t mind stopping in again if I were passing through to Fossil Creek.

Pretty good Mexican food! The location is very convenient with a Starbucks next door ! The service was little slow but no complaints as long as the food tastes good :) Oh, their margarita is awesome! I tried mango and it was delicious.

Tasty, fresh Mexican fare and the perfect alternative to all the fast food if you are passing through the area. I had the carnitas and enjoyed it thoroughly. Excellent salsa, friendly service… get IN! Don’t forget to say hello to the worlds largest kokopelli while you are visiting.
