I had long hair that was thinned by my last hairdresser and looked terrible! Sandra sat down with me and listened to what I wanted and gave me a fabulous DEVA curl hair cut. I will be back!

Sandra is wonderful. She always listens to what you want, and she’ll tell you honestly if what you want won’t look good or work. She makes my hair look great and always takes time to show me techniques and give me style tips that work with my active life. I have a newborn, a toddler, and my own business, so I’m busy but I still want to look put together and cute! She really helps accomplish that. She’s also a wiz with color. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I have always had long curly hair. And actual real spiral curls… not wavy hair that people call «curly». Ive always admired girls with short/​edgy haircuts, but my type of hair makes its more difficult for styling sometimes. One day I got sick of my hair and decided I was chopping it off! But the hard part is finding a stylist who really knows how to deal with thick, curly hair. I searched & found Sandra on Unilocal.I loved her style, all the reviews and saw on Unilocal that her daughter had hair like mine! She was/​is a god send! Long story short, she chopped it off and everyone & I loved it! I haven’t let anyone touch my hair since. And even after 4 months of no cuts, my hair still looks awesome, healthy, and with the little extra length now its so versatile! Im keeping it short like this for a loooong time. And Im going back soon for a touch up. Trust this woman… especially if you have curls. By the way… check out her awesome collection of shears on her work belt!

Sandra is a miracle worker. My curls never looked this good! She is very nice and walked me through the whole process and gave me sound advice on how to take care of my hair. Two of my friends already went to the salon and I saw there hair so I had high expectations and oh man I was not disappointed. I highly recommend her. I am never going anywhere else. This is it. This is my curly hair haven. And the price was not bad either. I had a lot of damage and straight hairs that ruined the look of my curls. Sandra just snipped away on my hair while dry then washed it and applied the Deva curl products and voila! Beautiful, luscious, healthy looking, and hydrated curls. I went shopping after and a guy passed me by saying «your hair looks great» Oh and let’s not mention it’s my birthday so I am such a happy girl today and I feel very beautiful and confident. Getting so much compliments on my curls.

Loved loved my devacut by Sandra ! Not only was she sweet but was very informative about keeping my curls healthy. I don’t trust many people with my unruly curls, but happy to have found someone that knows how to work with my hair. It’s so soft and manageable now .

Sandra is fantastic! Not only did she tame my frizzy curls, she helped teach me on how to use the great product line of DevaCurl. She gave me a fantastic cut for my type of curl, and she knew exactly how to shape it without giving me a «helmet» shape. Super happy with everything she helped with my hair. Her assistant, (sorry, I forget her name,) gave me one of the best scalp massages too! Thank you! ;)

Sandra is simply amazing!
I went in today for a balayage/​ombré and curly haircut; I had a horrible cut before that was so imbalanced. But sandra managed to make it wonderful without cutting too much of the length! I was so worried that I’d have to go short in order to balance my hair, I’m so glad I didn’t have to that! It was like magic. Sandra is very knowledgeable and kindly explains to you what she’s going to do before she starts so that we’re both on the same page. I’m so happy with my hair cut and color. I had a haircut by Sandra yesterday. I went from very long straight hair to a pixie cut. It’s the most drastic thing I’ve ever done with my hair so I was a bit nervous. She did an absolutely amazing job. I love the look and feel and she gave me several tips on how to care for it and style it. I’m very low maintenance. She definitely followed the pictures I brought in of what I envisioned. I will definitely be returned to her for follow ups.

It’s been about 6 months since I have been going to Sandra. This is an updated review about the quality and commitment of Sandra’s care for her customers.
I had gone in for a hair cut recently and left feeling a little unsettled when I got home that night. Sandra had been talking about «unleashing my inner curl» — bringing out my natural curls. I usually get my hair straightened or curled with an iron so I thought — hey why not? She gave me this shampoo treatment which was a three step process. I actually had no idea what was going to happen but I thought hey, why not just go with the flow? [Note to self: don’t listen to this advice! If you feel confused or unsettled at the moment not sure what is going on, ASK!] Anyway, the treatment is meant to accentuate your natural curls. Now apparently she had cut my hair shorter than I would have liked and so the curls did not suit my face shape as they are thick and with thick short hair that curls up let me tell you, it is not flattering! It was also surprising because my air-​dry hair constitutes of wavy hair, not curly hair. It must be the reaction of the shampoo with my hair.
So I went home feeling uneasy about the hair cut. I continued to feel uneasy through out the week. Finally, I messaged Sandra and explained how I felt. She was so understanding and supportive! I told her that it was my birthday the next week and so not being satisfied with my hair really concerned me! She generously invited me back for a complimentary blow dry and showed me how to work with my new do. It showed me how much she cares about her customers and customer satisfaction. Ladies, if you are not satisfied with a service, tell them! Yes, it is a risk. Either they do something about it or they don’t, but at least you voiced your opinion.
Sandra is such a sweetheart, she cares about her customers and will commit to you being satisfied with your hair. The only reason I took away a star is because there was no clear communication about the treatment and it left me a little clueless. This experience also taught me to always ask questions when you are at a hair salon, making sure you know exactly what they are doing to your precious hair.
I still recommend Sandra, as it is not everyday that you find a hairdresser that is passionate, genuine and values the opinion of her customers. She possess excellent communication skills and is very responsive!

Sandra gave me a pixie cut for the first time in my life. I have thick wavy hair that can be a little hard to work with, so I was apprehensive about taking a chance with a new style. I had lots of reference pictures I brought in, and her consultation was very helpful. She made sure I realized the upkeep of a short hairstyle, but also reassured me that it is very fun a big confidence booster once I adjust to it.
Sandra cuts hair dry first, then washes (along with a very relaxing scalp massage), and then makes additional adjustments after drying. She explained that haircuts are very specific to the individual, and that she perfects the haircut more and more with every visit. Considering how great it turned out it’s hard to imagine it improving! I’m very glad I chose Sandra for such a drastic cut, and will definitely stick with her. The only downside is the cost ($ 75 cut, $ 50 for trims/​follow-​ups), which is more than I am used to paying. However, she is definitely worth it!

Sandra, thank you for always making my daughter and I look and feel like models! If you want your hair to look the best it can then book with Sandra. Try to book ahead since she is busy!

We found Sandra on Unilocal while searching for someone to do hair and makeup for my daughter’s wedding. The wedding had a vintage/​garden party feel, and Sandra caught the vision right away. The hair trial was a pleasure! My daughter left feeling confident about the plan for her wedding day. Sandra pays great attention to detail. She made notes on hair and makeup as she and my daughter discussed the options. She also took pictures of the final look for reference on the wedding day. The end result was a very beautiful and happy bride! Her wedding party also looked lovely! Sandra is very easy to work with and makes the entire process a pleasure!

This was the first time having my hair done by Sandra. She designed my hair into 1940’s pin up style. Pin curls on top and bouncy curls on the bottom of my long hair. I have straight Asian hair. My hair stayed up all night at a Reverend Horton Heat concert! Received lots of approving looks. Help make the show extra fun.
Sandra was fun to chat with with regard to her craft and the peripheral tangents related to it. She is a resource for body painting and wedding and vintage photography given her connections. If you enjoy costume and makeup events, I think Sandra is a great place to start for awesome hair and more.

Sandra is very likeable and a skilled stylist. I’m so glad I found her… which was no small task since she had just moved and was still settling in. Well worth the effort!
My haircut was great, while not the razor cut I am used to, it looks good. I have recieved many compliments, and the shampoo massage was devine! I will go back to Sandra, and gave her 5 stars because she is really good at what she does. Thanks Sandra!

My 5 year old got his first haircut here. His hair was down to his waist and a big ol mess.
Finally he decided it was time to let his 14 inch beautiful blonde ponytail go and Sandra suggested Wigs for Kids since it’s perfect baby curls for a child.
My son says he says he loved getting his hair washed cause it was warm and Sandra got no soap in his eyes.
Now that we got the styling down he’s looking fab.
I don’t know if kid’s hair is something Sandra does often but I wanted to make sure Noah’s first haircut was special and she definitely delivered.
I’m sure I’ll be attempting an appointment soon for my own hair. which she did over the summer and was awesome.

I originally went in on the 29^th for a consultation with Sandra. I really wanted my hair fixed before the 14^th of February. Luckily someone cancelled and she was able to help me right then and there.
My hair is long and pretty healthy. The problem however was all the colors going on. My roots were ridiculous, and my colors were very blotchy.
Sandra made me feel so comfortable.
My search was long and hard but I’m glad I took the time to find her.
I can’t wait to return in March!
