I had the creamy mac and cheese and it tasted like giraffe poop. I would have put zero stars but that was not an option

Stopped by at 1pm. place was dead. They brought me a glass of water with lemon. the glass was actually made out of glass water taste so much better in glass! 5STARS. The place on the inside looks kind of old and antiquated. I ordered the Philly cheese steak with beer battered onion rings The Cheesesteak was pretty average. 3 stars. The beer batter onion rings were super greasy and had no flavor just salt. The oil had a flavor of fried fish. 1.5 stars I can’t complain about the prices the prices seem to be right on par five stars. The greeter was friendly and helpful five stars. The waitress seemed just a little on the pushy Side but overall was very nice I give her four stars.

Went here tonight for my mom’s birthday. The service was horrible and when we finally asked for a manager the waitress threw a fit and actually threw our drinks down. We got a new waiter but the food was cold by the time it got to us. No wonder this place wasn’t busy at all. Won’t be going back!

Great place to come and enjoy the food! Always great customer service every time I come here. The bartender named Magdalena is great and she is always ready to serve you awesome made drinks with great positive attitude. Kelly the manager also has great skills to please her customers. Just love coming here!

Mediocre cooking. They should replace the chef so that their food quality matches the ambiance. The latter is very nice.

The service was okay but I ordered onion rings as my side dish and they were cold. I also ordered a Monterey chicken sandwich with raw bell peppers instead of the grilled ones and it was a huge piece of bell pepper not even cut up or anything. My moms rice that she ordered was dry as hell and on the Philly cheese steak the onions were raw instead of grilled. I also had to wait an additional 10 minutes after my family had received their food until my order came out and it was cold.

Always friendly especially if Jake is your food server. The trout is nice especially with extra nuts. Will be back soon for more.

I find that the food is delicious and have never had a bad experience. Price is reasonable and if there is a waiting period to be seated time goes by quickly. I highly recommend Elephant Resturant. –Kerwin

Delish! A diverse menu, reasonable prices and a full bar.

Asked to have our overly-salty soup replaced only to receive another overly-salty soup. Bad sign when you have to salt everything up. Generally uninspired food, despite the variety. If you’re going to make entrees everyone has tried before, you better up the quality, at least. I would however visit the place to watch a game at the bar. Nice place to have a drink and some fries during the playoffs in your favorite sport. Staff is friendly.

Definitely wasn’t impressed by this location at all. It was unfortunate that it took 25 minutes just to get my water. I decided to order a chicken arugula sandwich, «because who can really mess that up, right?» WRONG. Probably the most salty anything I’ve had in my life. The sweet potato fries I had along with it were great. But let’s face it, I’m not going to eat a plate of French fries for dinner. Unless it was acceptable. Nonetheless won’t be coming here anymore. Still got to take a great pic!

I’ve actually been here more than a dozen times, so this review is long overdue. It is located right off of Highway 880 and Hamilton, so it is very easy to find. It does get pretty crowded during normal peak hours, so the wait times can be an issue. Their food here is pretty consistent. The Kona BBQ Ribs are decent, but a little too salty for my taste. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Teriyaki Chicken were both tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. Our waiter was friendly, but he wasn’t very attentive. I had to flag him down a few times just to remind him about things I already requested. Overall, it’s a great atmosphere, great location, decent food, decent service(usually), but like I mentioned before, nothing out of the ordinary. Would I come back? Yes, but mainly for their Mud Pie!!!

Great lunch today as usual but this review is for outstanding service. I ordered my hamburger with a little pink but it was served on the very pink side. I understand that any good chef doesn’t want to over cook an order but it was just too rare for me. Not only was it quickly returned to the kitchen, it was returned by the manager, David, who apologized and gave us a desert on the house! Along with another side of delicious sautéed spinach. It’s this kind of well run restaurant that keeps me and my friends returning at least once a month. Thanks to you all!

I’ve come here quite a few times over the years and it’s just«okay». I generally sit at the bar or at least in the bar area so whoever the bartender is can really make or break the experience. This review is based on my most recent visit a few months ago with my daughter. Located right off Hamilton and 17 in Campbell. Good amount of parking but if the lot is full, you can park in the Kohl’s lot. We were actually shopping at Kohls so we left our car there and walked over. It was about 2pm and we just needed a snack to hold us over while we finished our Sunday errands. Odd hour of day so the restaurant was kinda slow. We easily found two places at the bar and looked over the menu. They have lots of TV’s to watch your favorite team play. The waitress was busy setting up for what I imagine was the dinner hour so she didn’t may to much attention to use. The few folks eating/drinking at the bar seemed to be regulars but the way she was chatting with them. We ordered two of their non-alcoholic mocktails which were nice. Not to sweet and plenty of fizz. We also ordered the artichoke drip and coconut shrimp. This is where things fell flat for me. Artichoke dip — über oily and lacked flavor. It literally tasted like a bunch of warmed up mayo with some spinach and a minced artichoke in there with a sprinkling of parm on top. Meh, not something I’d order again. Coconut Shrimp — These were actually really tasty but the shrimp were SMALL. I mean really small. Overall, this is a fun place for families to come because it’s kinda noisy so loud children can fade into the background. The menu is pretty big with all kinds of options to choose from. Nothing is great here but most items are decent and prices aren’t astronomical. Although this place would apeas many, it’s just not my idea of great food.

OMG… what a shame. This place used to be so awesome. Two of us had lunch there the other day and the place was almost empty. Took forever to get a couple of glasses of wine to enjoy with our meal and the food was only so so at best. Chicken Marsala for the lunch special was a total ripoff for what you receive. About an once of chicken with mashed potatoes, 3 mushroom slices and a tablespoon of spinach. Think they should fire the manager, actually fire the person that hired the manager or better yet, fire the CEO that runs the operation. Are they familier with the expresssion«the buck stops here.»? Only good thing I remember was the hostess and she should leave before they go out of business. Waitperson asked us to go online and sign up for some type of promotion… NOT!

I DONOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACE! Here’s why… Came here for a company event. We called ahead of time to let them know we had 30+ people. Calling ahead didn’t really help. Everyone ordered their food and the food was coming out but mostly everyone who ordered the ribeye cowboy did not get their meal until everyone else was done eating. I myself ordered that and my gf was one of the first people to get their food. She was already done with her food when the waiters came out and had to do a head count of how many people didn’t get their food AND they had to retake our orders TWICE. –__– what happened to my order the first time you took it? I don’t understand. One of my coworkers ordered a steak and didn’t get it until we were leaving. Even then they still gave him the wrong order.

It’s a Saturday night, so you can figure that any establishment worth eating at would be humming with hungry customers. That statement is definitely true here at the Elephant bar! The family and I walked up the staircase to the entrance. We were happily greeted by a cheerful hostess as she held an open door for us. It’s funny to think how on the outside, it is super quiet until you enter and it’s just loud. It’s like night and day! Once inside, my parents inquired the wait time. We could already see that it would be a long winded wait. The reply we received was, «You can wait a few minutes…» That was it. We waited a total of 20mins before being seated. Once escorted to our table, we waited about 10mins before our order was taken. Tonight, Daniel was our waiter. He had a cool nature about him w/quick humor. Unfortunately, I feel as though he wasn’t there for us like you would expect a waiter to be since it was a bit busy. Our food was order and arrive about 20mins later. I had the Home-style Pot Roast w/mash-n-gravy. When I had the plate in front of me, it looked dry. Dry as though it was sitting for a while and all the juice, that possibly was in the meal, was gone. More mash potatoes than meat. And too much veggies for my taste. The carrots needed to be cooked a bit longer. The meal filled me up, so that’s a plus. Try coming to get some eats on a different night. You may have a better experience with less of a crowd. fin.

What happened to this place? We used to come here since 2002 and it always rocked our socks. Now, under new management, the food is tasteless, the portions are small, the staff is OPENLY negative and incompetent, and food arrives cold frequently. I swear, you would think k am making this stuff up. Whatever can go wrong – IS going wrong at this place right now? Even the old manager is gone? WHATHAPPENED??? PS1: Writing this review after three tries with the new management. Very disappointed. Take away their franchise rights. PS2: Talking about small portions: Look at this plain and small portion if lamb chops for $ 19. Embarrassing. Pictured added.
