I usually jump from different hairstylists because they can never get the color of my hi-​lights right the first time. My hair is black so it tends to turn orange, reddish or brassy. Then I usually have to go back because I am not satisfied and get the color fixed. I found the one girl that I have been committed to. She gets it done right the first time and she’s reasonably priced. She also does good cuts. She is far for me and is not at the salon full-​time but Maira is worth the drive and wait. I trust her with my hair and I’m not sitting in the chair worrying OMG! Is my hair going to be a disaster after this? She also awesome to chit chat with, very outgoing and friendly. I have been going to her for almost 2 years. That’s the longest that I have ever gone to the same hairstylist. It’s hard to find the right stylist.

I’ve been going to Mayra for four years now and she’s the best. I only get a cut from her and she never seems to disappoint! Her personality rocks, as well! Her price for a cut is extremely reasonable! Definitely check out Mayra Lopez!

I have been the pickiest in anybody touching my hair because they mess it up all the time and i never get what i want. but with a young stylist that works here Ms, Susan Talamantes she has done a wonderfull job with my hair since i have meet her i get what i want in the budget that fits me as well… i will continue following her wherever she goes to do my hair. Thanks Girl. I Recomend her to everyone that wants great results with there hair. She also Does incredible makeup.

My hairdresser Keri has moved to Serendipity Salon, will repost this review for her at that salon. I don’t know anybody at Jax now.

My search for a hairdresser has ended! After having my hair fried by two other stylists, my hair needed help. A friend of mine recommended Sheila as she’s a hair color specialist. She gave me a free color consultation and I asked a lot of questions about what could be done. After our consultation I was confident she understood my concerns and could give me the look I wanted. I can tell Sheila was really listening to me. Not only did we not have to cut too much off but she also nailed the color I wanted! I have strangers asking me if it’s my natural color and telling me how beautiful it is. This hair makes me feel amazing, she is the best hair colorist I have ever had!

Sheila Gall is amazing. I’ve been going to her for awhile now and shes the only one I trust with my hair! She just moved to this awesome salon. This salon is very clean and well put together. Owner does a good job at keeping it clean. Sheila is amazing with highlights, she takes her time to find the same piece of hair that she highlighted before! She is a color specialist, specializies in curly hair and has been an educator for years. She has a great assistant Nikki H who is awesome and also has a space in the salon. I wouldn’t trust anyone else, I’m super picky and anal and it took me awhile to find someone that I trusted with my hair. Highly recommened!!!

I completely, 100% recommend Jax Salon. I absolutely love the way that Jacqueline highlighted my hair. I am definitely looking forward to returning.

Been coming to Jax Salon for about 2 years now, I make my appointments with Mayra Lopez, she is an amazing hair stylist. If you are looking for a great hair cut or color come to Jax and ask for Mayra… You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Maira for about 2 years now and ecstatic for her clientele to grow. This girl has mad skills and deserves to be acknowledged!
I was very impressed with her skills in coloring and equally wowed by her cutting skills. She has good taste and really listens to your opinions. She never tries to pressure you into something that you won’t like or simply won’t go with your facial structure.
I once wanted long bangs covering my whole forehead so badly, Maira didn’t refuse to give me what I wanted… she did however tell me and explained why it wouldn’t be the best idea. (I just don’t have the forehead for it!) We both laughed about it and I agreed. I later walked out happy that she was able to point that out. Had she not done that I would have been an emotional wreck for the next 3 months.
Overall, I would recommend Maira for color, cut, saving your wallet and even therapy (lol), there is one downfall she is HARD to get a hold of! So if you’re not trying to squeeze into her schedule in the next couple of days, or mind calling her more than once to get a call returned she’s a GO!

I just recently got my hair done at Jax Salon by Deena & i love it! i got purple streaks with some blonde in my bangs. I’ve gotten so many compliments and it turned out exactly the way i wanted it, if not better :) if anyone is interested in this hairstyle (or any others in general), call the salon and ask for DEENA! She’s really sweet and you will definately loooove your hair!
