I have been going to Maira for about a year now and Although it seems like words are never a problem for me, when it comes to explaining how I like my hair i can get things a little twisted. But with Maira, SHE asks questions about what you want and really pays attention, she’s great with color and great with cutting. She really cares about you having a great experience and leaving the salon happy, From explaining what fits YOU and what doesn’t and finally the end result being exactly what you wanted.
I don’t trust a lot of people with my hair, but the second i walked in to Mai’s salon, she gave me the comfort and the Trust i needed to let her Cut away and bleach whatever she needed to…
I walked in with hair up to my waist line, and simply said cut it to here (pointing to my shoulder)…she looked at me with her eyes practically coming out her head and said «Ummm girl, thats WAYYY to MUCH you WILL regret it, so i’m only cutting to your Mid back». Ohh my this woman SAVED me, if she would have cut more i would have DIED! Thanks Mai :)
And About Color, i had wanted Purple Highlights for YEARS and every hairdresser i had gone to said that it was nearly impossible because my hair was so dark, and i would need to bleach it too much and that would cause my hair to BREAK OFF (my biggest FEAR). But Mai on the other hand took one look and said ok lets get started, my hair was the Exact purple i wanted with out any breakage and the Cut was AWESOME, i have never been happier. She is Simply every girls Dream Hairdresser :)
I could go on and on, but this is just a review not a book… so CHECK HER OUT… GUARANTEED you’ll be going back!

I’ve been going to Maira for about 2 years now and ecstatic for her clientele to grow. This girl has mad skills and deserves to be acknowledged!
I was very impressed with her skills in coloring and equally wowed by her cutting skills. She has good taste and really listens to your opinions. She never tries to pressure you into something that you won’t like or simply won’t go with your facial structure.
I once wanted long bangs covering my whole forehead so badly, Maira didn’t refuse to give me what I wanted… she did however tell me and explained why it wouldn’t be the best idea. (I just don’t have the forehead for it!) We both laughed about it and I agreed. I later walked out happy that she was able to point that out. Had she not done that I would have been an emotional wreck for the next 3 months.
Overall, I would recommend Maira for color, cut, saving your wallet and even therapy (lol), there is one downfall she is HARD to get a hold of! So if you’re not trying to squeeze into her schedule in the next couple of days, or mind calling her more than once to get a call returned she’s a GO!

Have friends and family that have been going to Maira for years. She has the experience and a great personality. I highly recommend her to everyone, she is awesome!
