Erica, grrlll, so I kinda followed you from 4 salons ago. Not that I’m a stalker or anything.
I SWEAR.
Basically, I will only let Erica cut my hair! I get it done probably once a year, but when I do, I only let Erica touch it.
First of all, I got some THIRSTAY hair. My hair is more thirstay than a 45 yr old washed out Real Housewives of Silicon Valley reality trash star. (I know, not a real show, but if I keep harassing Bravo, maybe I can change that). It was so fried and dried out that it would take forever to grow, so I used to have so much anxiety when getting a haircut. But Erica has changed this for me!
Erica was the first hairdresser that really asked what I wanted while also giving me her feedback on what she thought would look good in a non-​pushy way. This stood out to me because I was looking for a hairstyle that hid my massive forehead, but I wasn’t sure it would go with my mug. Erica took into account my face shape and suggested a layered hairstyle. I ended up loving her suggestion and have kept it the same way for the last 4 – 5 years, and my hair has come out great on every occasion!
I personally love my Kim K-​ish a la underserved millionaire hairstyle, and I’ve never left an appointment dissatisfied. She also has such a great energy and personality that makes getting your hair done such a pleasure. I definitely recommend booking an appointment with her!

When I was living in San Jose, I went to Erica for a year. I could not trust anyone else with my hair, from long to short hair, dark to light. She is THE BEST.
She was referred to me by a coworker who practically sees her once a month and has beautiful hair. From our first appointment, Erica was super friendly and welcoming. She truly listens to what you want, gives you feedback, and keeps your hair healthy and beautiful.

After my appointment with Erica this morning I felt compelled to write a review. I was recommended to her through my mom who sees her regularly. I on the other hand, am a lot lower maintenance with my hair because of how simple I keep it, long with long layers. A few things Erica does before your appointment, she takes a look at what she’s working with, she takes notes on your new hair ideas and what look you would like to achieve and most importantly, she listens and does not convince you to go another path. She is here for your hair needs, which is something I really appreciate. She’s very friendly, professional and welcoming. She’s a great stylist and will come back for future appointments!

Isak at The Mane Event in Campbell, CA, is a treasure. I was in San Jose, CA, on a temporary assignment. I am a travel tech and accept 3-​month positions to work as a sonographer for facilities who have people out on disability or maternity leave, etc. I’ve been doing this for 8 years and when I can’t get back home to my regular hairdresser (who I’ve been going to for close to 20 years) I try to find someone locally. The results are usually less than satisfying but Isak got it on the first try. He had his hands in my hair for about 10 seconds and asked «Does she cut it with a razor?» YES! He followed her cut so well that when I went back for a second cut (the facility asked me to extend beyond the original 3-​month contract) I told him I was so deliriously happy with the cut I almost hated to cut it again. Isak is a true professional, and yet so personable. And he does a killer head massage with the shampoo.

I love Erica! She’s been cutting, coloring, and styling my hair for almost six years! I’d follow her to any salon she goes to, and I think that Mane Event is lucky to have such a talented artist like her! She’s done a lot of different cuts and colors to my hair over the years and I always leave so happy with how my hair looks and feels with her. She also has the best heart and she’s so kind – having a hair appointment feels like hanging out with your bestie! I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend going to her. She’ll really listen to what you want and she’ll give helpful suggestions if you’re stuck on what change you should make next. Plus, I believe she has all kinds of legitimate certifications for different hair techniques because she really cares about keeping up with her knowledge for her clients. Last I heard, she was even educating herself on how to treat the hair of people who are fighting cancer – now THAT is someone who truly cares about her clients as real people and doesn’t see them as just appointments.
She’s amazing. I can’t say enough good things about her. If you go to Erica, take my word for it – you’ll want to keep coming back to her!!!

I’m officially Erica’s groupie. I’ve followed her from 3 other salons to Mane Event and if she moved again, I’d follow her wherever she went. She’s THAT good. But seriously, Erica is a magician. She has raw natural talent in hair color and cuts and on top of that, she keeps up to date on all the newest techniques and products. She takes classes to stay on top of her game all the time. Her dedication is truly admirable. Her personality is just icing on the cake! She is a great listener and just the sweetest most genuine person. Talking to her is like going to see your therapist! And then you come out with banging hair!!! One of the many things I really love about Erica is the fact that she will work with whatever vision you have for your hair, no matter how crazy. Erica has done my hair for about four years now, and Mane Event is lucky to have her! She is so fun to talk to while she’s cutting and coloring my hair. She always gives me a great style and is excited and willing to experiment with new styles and colors, while also ensuring that whatever we do ends up looking flattering as hell on me. She does a great job blending colors so that they always look amazing, and she has taken my hair from brown to blonde to red to black, without ever making it look or feel like there’s just been tons of chemicals on it. She loves playing with bright fun colors (pink, purple, blue, etc) and always comes up with really beautiful combinations that I love!
Erica is, by far, the best hair stylist I’ve ever had, and I can wholeheartedly recommend her for whatever kind of style and color you are interested in!

I’ve been having my hair done by Erica for a couple years now and I love her! First off, she’s very welcoming, easy to talk to and passionate about what she does! All things I want in a hairstylist. She has taken my hair from blonde, to red and back to blonde again! She takes a gentle approach to leave my hair looking healthy. I am always happy with my hair after Erica does it!

Stacy offers a nice, clean and very thorough Manicure & Pedicure, you’ll walk out with the best looking hands and feet… polished to perfection of course!

Went to see Isaac for the 1^st time today. I finally found him after researching through Unilocal for 3 days. He was very friendly. And what I love most about him is he really took his time to cut my hair. He listened to what I wanted and did his magic on my hair (picture attached). I’ll definitely see him again. :)

A great salon with a very pleasant atmosphere. My favorite hairdresser/​stylist is Ally Escobar. I have been going to her for quite some time now and am very pleased with her work. Ally has been doing my hair locks extensions and color touch up for about 2 years now. She is very detailed on matching the hair color to the extensions and also the touch up color. I have thin hair which was always breaking off in the past. Since I have been with Ally she has transformed my hair back to healthy shiny hair that has also grown very long. Ally is very patient and a good listener. She truly cares about her clients and is always looking for new ways to improve the health of my hair. I recommend Ally 200%!

I love this Salon. The people there truly love working there. It just shows that they enjoy being at work. I have been going there since my stylist Ally Escobar moved there last September, I have been seeing her for years. She does such an awesome job with my extensions and color! She knows exactly what to do and has awesome suggestions for style and products, Most of all I just love the person she is and her fun personality. I look forward to seeing Ally every time I have an appointment. She is the real deal, sweet, funny, honest and most of all really good at her craft.

Mane event is a fabulous salon. All of the stylists are super friendly and make you feel right at home when you walk in the door. Ally Escobar has been doing my hair for years and she’s TRULY the best. She does exactly what you want done to your hair and always exceeds my expectations. I get my hair done by Isac & Tye. Both of them master stylist and have incredible passion for what they do.
Between precise hair cuts and creative color I can never decide which one of those gentlemen are my favorite. That’s why I am writing this review for two of them because they’re both amazingly professional and skilled. If you go to see them which I highly recommend, make sure to book an appointment in advance! They been taking care of my hair for the past two years

I get my hair done by Dinara !! Shes a beautiful & talented woman ! She has been working on my hair for a little over a year now & got it healthy again. She also does color, cut & diamond oil treatment on me every visit to assure that my hair looks & feels great in the end of it all. She is truly amazing as a growing stylist & always has the best of people around her when she needs a second opinion. & what a better way to have help from the owner himself to make sure I never leave unsatisfied !! Anything we need help with him & the rest of the amazing staff is there to help when perfecting a specific style. That’s what I enjoy the most ! A full salon that has people who work together to help each other make sure each of their clients are happy each day they walk out. Thanks for always a great experience :)

Mane Event is an upscale salon without the arrogance. I go to Tye on a regular basis, but would also recommend April or Issac to anyone.
I had the Olaplex treatment done about 3 weeks ago and my hair has actually gotten stronger. As a swimmer, my hair has always been dry and brittle from the chlorine, but it is now healthier and fuller. It is also easier to style and dries faster.
I have been getting lots of complements and am hooked. Thanks Tye!

I came to Mane Event to get my nails done by Stacy. She did a fantastic job, and didn’t hack into my cuticles like I’ve had other people do in the past. I told her to be creative and have some fun with it, and she did exactly that. I’m pretty excited to see what she can do next time!
Stacy was great to hang out and chat with too, something I didn’t get with other nail techs — mostly it was awkward silence with me staring at wall, or nervousness about cuticle hacking. If I’m going to get my nails or hair done, one requirement of mine is to feel comfortable with them, instead of scared!
I highly recommend checking her out if you’re looking for a nail artist and btw, she’s also been doing nails for 20+ years. 5 stars for technique, professionalism, friendliness and creativity. Thanks Stacy!
