So So SO good! I can’t get over how affordable and amazing the food is here. I had it three times this week. It’s across from my gym and tanning salon so it always hits the spot. Seriously good quality food.

I love this place… The food is always good, fast and friendly service. Love the chips bar, full of hot stuf. I loved the menudo. Which is only available Saturday and Sunday. The Michelada was very good. You get a lot for your money in this place people… Next time you crave this type of food, I urge you to consider to drive here. You will not be disappointed. This place has is one of the places that has my highest rating«Ohh Yea, Rated» :-)

I love this place! We were in search of authentic Mexican food when we moved to the West side of the Valley 20 years ago. We certainly did not expect to find it in a strip mall! Taqueria Los Pericos is located in a strip mall which includes a Big Lots, a florist, and a hair salon. Thus, the ambiance is mehhhh… But the food! It is awesome! We typically get the burrito, the vegetarian burrito, the super burrito, the tacos, and sides of their rice and beans. The burritos are huge, and are more than most of us can eat in a sitting. The ingredients are good quality(though occasionally the Carne asada is a bit tough/greasy), well prepared, and the prices are reasonable. My family also loves the rice and beans, which are also very authentic. The staff is typically very helpful, welcoming, and provide good service to their customers. I should also add that they have a salsa bar, with the salsa ranging from pico de gallo(mild; perfect for this wimp), medium, salsa verde, and clean your sinuses hot. Forgot to add that the horchata is excellent. If you are looking for a quick meal with reasonable prices, and like Authentic Mexican food, this is the place for you. Also, they do a very good job with takeout. We typically get takeout, and come found to find our food prepared exactly as requested.(Which can be a rarity with takeout) This place is a gem!

Favorite taqueria ever. Their al pastor tacos are from heaven. I always order 3 when I go. I also like the self serve sauce bar. Their orange sauce goes well with the tacos and chips too. With quick and friendly service too. I’ve recommended this taqueria to all my friends.

This place started to be my go-to Taco place. On most nights it’s filled with people, mostly all Mexican, enjoying great food. The tacos are super cheap and filled with meat. I usually get an extra order of corn tortillas and make two tacos out of each one — not because I want to get more tacos, but I find that they fill theirs too much and it’s easier to eat as two instead of one! Plus it’s more filling :-) If I want to splurge, I get their soup. It may look pricey on their menu compared to the tacos, but the soup is clearly home made and so tasty. I love it! I highly recommend that you try it at least once! Their chips are hot and their salsa selection is good. Counter staff are always really friendly. Just an all around good taco place.

We order here from Grub Hub far too often. The food is fantastic. Would highly recommend the carne asada tacos.

I’ll give it 5 stars. Doordash delivery. Hot food, excellent portions, great flavor, texture, extras like tortillas, extra chips, variety of salsas and pico del gallo included. Very nice experience.

Wow, this place is good. Deserves fame. Just a typical casual taqueria, but the meat is good, the tortilla bar us well stocked, the salsa is smoky and potent, and the prices are low given the monsterous portions. Go!

Decided to try and give these guys another chance. Haven’t had any issues… yet. Food is good just as long as there’s no soap in it.

I was suppose to have the street taco but they gave me a hard shell taco. The shell was so hard I was scared to eat it. If I were to bite wrong I would get a shell in my gums or loose a filling. The lettuce was under the taco and not in the taco. It was a mess. The flavor was bland and the meat tasted like it was cooked on a dirty sticky grill. Next was a large quesadilla. It had plenty or meat and a spicy flavor. There was no cheese or at least the end I bit was cheese free. It was not for me. I will not order either of these again. Most likely wont be back do to the bad flavor of the meat. The attendants were friendly and pleasant.

First time eating tacos up in Northern California was at this place. Being from the OC, I noticed that Mexican foods tends to get better as you go down towards the border(shoutout to Chula Vista). But this location was pretty good! Their salsas were okay. I was a little disappointed by the pico de gallo due to the taste being a bit off from what I’m used to(maybe it was sitting out too long), but that didn’t keep me from eating it with the tortilla chips. So it’s doable. Ordered 3 chicken and 3 beef soft tacos and was expecting the portions they give in SoCal. Man, was I wrong. These tacos were BLOATED with meat. I couldn’t even close it, let alone take a bite without the meat falling out. These guys counter this by giving double layered tortilla, incase one can’t take the weight of the meat. Quality was about average, but the quantity is most definitely there as if to make up for quality. If you’re not too picky about tacos and want a quick, filling meal, this is the place to go.

The burrito here is good. Like a lot of taquerias, there is a chip & salsa bar. Except this one is HELLA good. All the salsas and sauces are good. The chips are crispy. Parking: There is a huge lot. Not a problem. Plenty of tables and there are a couple of arcade machines. lol. Overall: Will return

Can i have parrot tacos? Guess not. Lots of parrot art and knick knacks but im guessing here might be legality issues in serving parrot? So i got the shrimp tostada. Ceviche style, with onion, tomato, parsley, avocado. Refreshing and tasty. On a hot day, they also have good AC, which a lot of taquerias lack. Solid cuisine and ambiance/space.

I love coming here for the fish tacos! They are absolutely delicious and packed with alot of fish and salsa, by far one of the best I have tried. Another reason why I love this place is because of their free refills on orchata water and Jamaica as well as self serve chips and salsa. Inexpensive place when craving authentic Mexican food and most importantly delicious food options!

Meh. Bland is the word. Boring. I had the Mexican style BBQ pork plate. Way below my level of tasty food. It was like cooked without any salt! Portions were not bad as far as the meat is concerned. Although what good is a portion without the taste to back it up? Their fresh salsa is awesome. Service is fast and polite with a very understanding approach towards clueless customers(me). Clean, well lit and looks pretty busy. Again– when I rate a business low I feel like probably the rest of you-bad. Then I tell myself– I eat out a lot. I know good food. AND my dish was to me an easy one to cook. So-I’m done feeling bad. Besides, my three other dining companion complained their taco was bland as well. Fish and chicken and pork. Next!

I was at Westgate Center at Campbell and Saratoga and decided to Unilocal for a nearby breakfast burrito. The obvious choice was Rose Donuts but I wanted to try something new. Enter Taqueria Los Pericos. I drove only about a mile and walked right up to the counter to order my burrito. The clerk had to stop juicing a big pile oranges directly into a pitcher to help me. The only«choice» I had to make was for meat: bacon, ham or chorizo. I went for bacon but I wonder if they’d let you do all 3. Next time. I loved the burrito. Maybe it was a little heavy on the rice and light on the egg, but the refried beans were a nice touch. The burrito also had an interesting folded over format and was wrapped super tight. Really clean presentation. The salsa bar inside was also unusually well stocked with lots of choices and a number of varieties of pickled vegetables, including red onions, carrots, potatoes and green peppers. Great place. I’ll go back.

Great cheap food! I have always seen this place, but I have never stopped to visit until recently. Once I discovered that they had a decent chips and salsa bar I knew I had to try this place. I ordered a horchata and a single carne asada taco plate. Typically, that would not be enough food but here it is plenty. The taco comes with a side of rice and refried beans and for a single taco, it was pretty packed with meat. My taco plate with the chips and salsa and my horchata made me so full! I want to try many more dishes and I hope to stop by here again soon!

Mexican food princess approves… this place is legit, quick, and flavorful! Too bad the taco sizes are too small… my friend and I stopped by after a night in downtown Campbell and wanted to eat a little bit more to fill our stomachs. I had the fish taco for $ 3.00 and my friend had the carne asada taco. Their tortillas didn’t seem handmade, but there are two small tortillas for their teeny taco. My fish taco had plenty of fish and salsa on the inside, and I added extra salsa verde to make it pop more. There is an endless salsa bar with the purchase of your food, but at the end of the night when we were there… I found that the chips were too hard and not fresh enough. I guess it’s a lot nicer to crunch on earlier in the day. Los Pericos is in an unassuming lot in the same location as Big Lots, and you might miss it if you’re driving by too fast! There is plenty of open seating for large groups and late night drunchies if you are in the mood. There’s always a telenova playing in the back(LEGIT, amirite) and it’s clean enough. I would definitely come back to try their other entrees, and the prices(although higher than what I’m used to in San Diego) are affordable.
