Solar eMD

I had Ben at Solar eMD install a 4KW solar system with Enphase micro inverters at my Campbell residence this fall. Ben came to our place to give me some advice and answered all my questions. His price was way less than the 2 other companies I contacted for quoted. I especially liked talking to Ben knowing he would be the person completing my installation rather than just talking to a sales person. The other companies were going to send a team of guys up on my roof to pound out my project in a couple hours. That sounded like it might be a rush job that may cause more problems later. I could tell Ben took a lot of pride in his work and would take care of my roof.

This company delivers on their promise of quality workmanship, price competitiveness and thorough planning. They also were very careful to minimize their impact, do a clean job and ensure the work was done right. We interviewed a number of solar installers and went with Solar eMD based on these factors. I can say that we made the right choice. They did great work with excellent communication before, during and after the installation. Real pros!

Ben installed a permitted 1.6kW system on our roof. The installation itself was completed in one day by him and his team. Ben prepared himself well for the installation and he had gathered all the parts needed for the job. Before hand, he had taken the time to sketch on-​site several options before the install to check out different mounting options. The installation went as planned, without a glitch. He also assisted for the permitting process.
I will recommend Ben highly for a solar project installation for his extensive, past experience in electrical and photo voltaic installation and maintenance and also his sense of ethics, honesty and customer service. I am comfortable working with Ben for his technical craftsmanship and I look forward to work with his team for other projects. I found Ben at a local Solar Company when I was buying supplies and I am so glad I found him !! I had a solar system installed by someone who wasn’t up to date on the new fire codes and just did a poor install. Trying to find a solar person to fix this issue was really hard, so when I asked Ben to come out and look at my system and to clean up the other persons mess, he said he would take the job on.
Ben came out and moved my panels for the 3′ fire code and leveled the rails in multiple locations so the panels looked perfect and properly ran the cabling in clips and fixed a bunch of other issues like grounding wiring and the list went on so I can pass my up coming inspection.
Ben worked with one other person for 2 days and took his time doing the job correctly and everything works and looks great now. I really wish I would have found him in the 1^st place, very nice and trustworthy and honest.
So if your looking to buy a Solar system and have someone install it, I can say I recommend Ben to help you with it at a fair price and a great job !!
