Subway

I eat subway often all over the area. Sandwiches are only taxable if they are toasted. The owner at this location will try to charge you tax on a non taxable food item beware.

Old food!!! Omg. We went here earlier and ordered our lunch. It was ehhhh to say the least. My sandwich was smashed mushy and fell apart the minute I unwrapped it. The soup was atrocious… Broccoli cheddar was brown and tasted beyond nasty. I order this all the time at other locations, so I knew this was spoiled. My sons chicken noodle was just as gross… Old and tasted foul. It was our first and last trip here…
Although the owner was friendly, he seemed snappy towards the one employee there who appeared to be avoiding him while looking beyond miserable. I would recommend steering clear… So far we haven’t gotten sick, but we barely ate the food. Very unfortunate.

I feel compelled to write a review for what it’s worth…
Note: I only patron this shop because it is within walking distance from my job, otherwise I wouldn’t be here.
If the owner is reading this review, please take my words to heart not as an attack.
I came in to Subway today and ordered a foot long turkey… very simple. The sandwich was definitely made to my liking, but as I was eating, noticed some of the veggies (cucumber, namely) were less than crisp. The bread tasted day old, not particularly fresh… A bit on the dry side and not for lack of condiments. I will say the meat/​cheese was fresh and adequate.
My real issue came when an older gentleman (owner?) Rang my order. I was just ending telling the sandwich maker what I wanted, and the man at the register barked out, «sandwich !? With avacado? Do you want anything?». No hello or greeting or even acknowledgement. This is not an appropriate way to run a business by not even greeting a patron. His bedside manners were lacking. I suggest a remedial course in tact.
Of course I’ll be back since I work so close, but buyer beware.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star. The owner is such a jackass he is rude to his employees by yelling at them in from of customers. Someone should really teach this guy better coaching skills and people skills. If I was his employee I would have reported his ass already and to top it off the food wasn’t fresh lettuce was brown and bread was hard. And I don’t know if subways can charge what they want but j paid $ 14 for a sandwich chips and soda.
