Went there for the first time on a Saturday night while they had a neighborhood band playing. Can’t beat the ambiance there. And the slow cooked brisket on Saturdays is to die for. Wine is what you expect for an Ohio winery. The various sangrias are delicious. But the people and service is excellent and above the rest. I thought the escape rooms were a great idea. Will definitely be back for the Halloween themed escape rooms.

I love wine, and I was looking forward to this visit all week. Diletto falls short in both ambiance and wine. The winery is located in an old house, and there is no air conditioning. It was 80 degrees with no air circulation. The wine was warm and sour. The pizza tasted like cardboard and was nothing special. Even the cheese plate was boring. My husband had mango sangria, and that was actually good. It tasted like soda, but it was very cool and refreshing. The deck chairs were cheap plastic and uncomfortable. It was over priced and very common.

Diletto Winery specializes in fruit wine(cherry, banana, blueberry, etc.) & small plates(Hawaiian buns, a Brie bar, cheese & fruit plates) things that pair well with wine! The space is big & has many diverse areas to unwind depending on your mood. Upstairs there are 4 private theme rooms — 1 is an equestrian theme. On the ground level there is a beautiful wood floor, glass bottle chandelier & expansive restaurant table area that is open & spreads to the bar & open kitchen. There’s a flatscreen tv room, powder room & outdoor patio seating. A rooftop terrace seating area is coming soon. The owner occasionally has BBQ nights with an outdoor fire pit grill. There’s an amazing staircase that leads to the private rooms on the second floor. The owners take great pride in their wine & space; it makes the experience special. There is no place like this in the Youngstown area! Diletto is my new go-to drink place when I am visiting friends & fam.
