Cool place. In Europe I was able to handle ancient coins at the museum. Here you can purchase coinage made into jewelry or simply look at it in the cases. The owner is knowledgeable and will provide you with history of the pieces and the context of the overall history. You will probably see items here you will not see otherwise. So stop in and spend some time checking out the loot!

Interesting store and friendly, helpful owners and clerk. We found out about pieces of eight — got to hold one. Learned about sea glass and the«sea glass ladies» in Britain who collect the glass for the shop to earn their pub money. Unique jewelry made with old coin and other treasures that looks good and is fun to wear. I’m still mulling over what piece to get.

Fascinating! Walk in and discover history from a very knowledgeable team. Check out the treasures from sunken ships, and touch a piece of the past… With the talent of April, you can walk out wearing a piece of that history! I have bought several items from here over the years — for gifts and for myself — and am never disappointed.

Not your average jewelry store. I like the historical and adventure twist since they specialize in locating lost treasures, then restoring the pieces in a variety of ways to create collectibles and jewelry. My oldest son loves visiting the store, but many things are out of his price range. It is hard to find many ancient pendants or ‘pieces of eight’ under $ 300. Although there is less expensive sea glass, more modern coins and woven bracelets in the $ 20 range. In addition to salvaged pieces, they also make jewelry and I like the hand-crafted seal pieces in silver and bronze. But, the store is so much more interesting than your average beach souvenir shop. Unlike some other stores in the area, they are really friendly here and love to tell the tales associated with different pieces. And it isn’t just pirate booty. There are treasures from all over the world, including Celtic and Roman pieces, the Spanish fleet and British and Dutch East Indian artifacts. Many pieces come with a certificate of authenticity describing its origin, use, loss and recovery. That is my favorite kind of jewelry to collect. Something that reminds me of a special place or transports me to another time.
