This wine shop is a gem! I stumbled upon it when visiting Cannon Beach with out-​of-​town family. She was able to make several great recommendations on local wines, as we wanted to give them a taste of Oregon’s wine scene. We bought several bottles and they were all winners. It went great with the crab we bought from the local fish market she pointed us toward. What a perfect weekend getaway and memorable trip with our family thanks to Laurel!

I will not be bringing wine with me next time I visit Cannon Beach. We stopped in at Laurel’s Wine Shop on our last visit and fell in love.
There are many great wines and a great atmosphere to make this place special– but Laurel, the owner, is the real draw. She is amazing! Fun to talk to, down to earth and very helpful.
You should try Laurel’s Pinot Noir, too. Wow.

Laurel knows her wine. Well selected wines, both Oregonian and from afar, chosen by a woman with a refined palate. Plus she is a wine maker herself… you can learn something too. She will tell you stories about here wine and her neighbors and the wine you are buying if you ask a few questions.
This is a truly great wine shop in a small town, that would kill in a larger city like Portland but here I’m not sure Laurel get the respect and success she deserves. If you really appreciate wine, there is no reason to haul your wine from Portland or shop anywhere else within 50 miles as far as I can tell. This place is cool.
