Just spent a weekend at the Wave Crest. We have even going to Cannon Beach for years and had missed this gem. No pets and no kids but after our visit I can see why. It is like walking into an art gallery gone wild. Each room is filled with unusual pieces of art from all over the world. We had a few problem but the morning coffe and treats, afternoon conversations and beautiful weather made up for them. If you want a cheap funky place in a historical building, stop here. Thanks, Hank!

Horrible customer service. You have to call to request a reservation and hope that they call you back. Agree finally being able to talk to so move the man on the other line proceeded to asking very personal questions… Really all I needed know was the rare age availability. After finding out I was taking a child with me(a 12 year old) he said I would not be allowed to make a reservation. He gave me no explanation as to why this rule. Nowhere on their sure does it say it’s ah adult only hotel. Total jerk

Just spent a wonderful weekend at the Wave Crest. Funky, wonderful, homey and warm. Love the history of the place. Hank Johnson, the current owner and accomplished chef, has updated the old girl but kept it’s quirky charm. Just a minute’s walk to the beech, too. We will definitely return.
