This place is decent. The amount of seafood they add to their dishes is more than I expected! We had lunch and dinner there. I don’t think all the dishes were good, but I highly recommend the house salad with the poppy seed dressing and Dungeness crab cakes. Even though it was only two pieces, the crab cakes had tons of fresh crab pieces. The French onion soup was good at first, but it tasted too salty on the bottom. The rock fish tacos needed some salsa, and the wild mushroom and cheese ravioli was too dense for me. Also tuna salad wasn’t that special. But overall, I appreciated the service and the presentation of the foods. :)

My family came here for breakfast and was seated at a booth with an amazing view of the beach and famous rock. We asked for a high chair on arrival but we had to ask for it again after we received our food. I am uncertain if the host forgot but customer service is just as important. Right when we were done ordering I asked my waitress to bring more silverware and napkins since my 2 year olds milk was dripping. She never came back until our food arrived. That is strike two for bad service. Now onto some positive notes — my children ordered off the kids menu and it is a great deal. They received a great amount of food where the portions are adult size for $ 5-$ 7 a plate. My son ordered a dish that comes with 3 pancakes, an egg, and a bacon and my girls had a dish with an egg, sausage, hash browns and 3 half slices of toast. My husband sadly got the Picaso Omelet which looked more like a dish that only had mushrooms and sausages with hardly any egg. Who makes an omelet like that? But the kicker is the egg looked scrambled into the other ingredients. Last I looked an omelet is never made that way at a restaurant but maybe by a novice at home. I ordered the eggs benedict and after asking the waitress which is better between the regular crab vs the crab cakes she suggested one of each. Great idea! In the end I like the crab benedict for the true fresh flavor of crab while my husband liked the diverse taste and flavor of the crab cake. Next time I visit Cannon Beach I will think about returning but not without trying other options first. Price is more expensive with the adult menu but great deal on the kids menu.

My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary dinner. The food was amazing! Everything about the experience was top notch. Front the time we walked in the door and left. The tomahawk is what the boyfriend ordered … Worth the price for a picture and the taste. Our server Robert was awesome. It was so good we came back again the next day for a lunch snack. Their service reminded me of the ritz Carlton. We will be back again!

Dined here in August as we were from out of town. The margarita in a pail was fun, the food was decent but nothing spectacular. The view of Haystack Rock was nice, too. I’d probably go back… but not until I had explored some other restaurants in the area.

Mushroom dip was incredible, as was the service and the view. Ravioli was too heavy with cheese and a cream sauce. Could do to be lighter. The halibut was good, but ask for it with the garlic fries. A monument could be made for their garlic shoestring french fries!

My review is for breakfast. We opted to eat here when we were staying across the way at Surfsand Resort. The food and the scenery were great. I enjoyed that the dining room had a large window along the wall to see out to the scenic Cannon Beach. Breakfast was delicious. I had the half order of the Crab Meat Benedict. The crab meat was so fresh that it made for the best benedict. I also love that a half order is an option for those that want a lighter breakfast. The potatoes on the side were good, but the fresh crab was the highlight.

We just happened upon this place while vacationing in Portland/Cannon Beach. The food was amazing, I had the French Toast. The décor was beach themed but very classy and nice. Atmosphere is casual and friendly. The view was amazing! We got a table looking out at Haystack Rock — a view that’s hard to beat! Will definitely go back next time we’re there. Would definitely recommend!

We had the mushroom dip, which was unusual, but pretty tasty. We also split the roasted corn salad with goat cheese and pickled onions, which was on special for the night and it was very delicious! We almost ordered a 2nd salad, it was so fresh and flavorful. We also ordered the mushroom ravioli, which was good and came with a lot of ravioli, they did not skimp on food portions. A little on the heavy side though and the mushroom filling could have been lighter. I did like how they baked it in the oven with panko bread crumbs on top, that was a nice touch. Food and service were pretty good overall. Would come back again and maybe try a different menu item or try their specials again.

Delicious! We stopped here for lunch on a weekday, and we got a table with a gorgeous view of Haystack Rock. The crab macaroni and cheese was fantastic and rich. My husband and I also shared the fish and chips. That was plenty for the two of us. The service was quick and our waiter always made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend!

Great service here. You have to make a reservation and if you don’t you won’t get a seat. Yup. This place is super busy. The food is good. But people come here for the sunset at Cannon Beach. I was lucky and got a seat right by the window with an awesome view of Cannon Beach. It was gorgeous. Food wise is ok. I ordered the halibut and I do wish there was more taste to it. Portion is huge that’s for sure. As well note that there is a cap on the free wifi internet. I had a hard time connecting when the restaurant was so busy.

The wait on one of the busiest weekends on the coast(Hood to Coast) for two people was longer than it took for the wait staff to bring us our food. For two hungry runners, this was the best news ever. The service was absolutely amazing! They filled my coffee before it was half way empty, my food was so hot it could burn my mouth, extra sauces were available at request and all portion sizes were perfect. Usually sides of avocado are pathetic, but they gave me almost half an avocado! My next breakfast in Cannon Beach will definitely be here.

Really great appys, but the service was lacking. We came in here for happy hour(3p — 5p) appys and drinks one afternoon. We arrived 10 minutes before happy hour, so we ordered a drink and took a look at the menu. Our server came back to take our order, and we told her that we were there for happy hour. The time was 2:58p, and she said she would have to come back at 3:00, which we were fine with. Only, she never came back. After 20 minutes, we moved to the bar. Unfortunately, she was also serving the bar. Strangely enough, orders had to be made through the server, not the bartender. I’ve been to many bars… this was a first for me. Even when we wanted a drink, we couldn’t tell the bartender… who was standing right in front of us… we had to wait for our server, who was anything but attentive. The food, on the other hand, was very good. We had a variety of items… Avocado Fingers with Blue Cheese Sauce, Cedar Plank Warmed Goat Cheese, Calamari, and in-house potato chips. The food was very good… especially the Cedar Plank… it had roasted garlic, goat cheese, olives and crackers all served on a cedar plank. We also had their clam chowder, which was very good. While the food was very good, we might look a little harder next time for a different appy option. Service is a big deal… this review could have easily been 4 stars :/

Great service! We loved sitting on the patio with a great view of sunset on Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast! Divine! The Caesar salad with huge prawns was excellent! A perfect evening!
