Benefit Brow Bar at Macy’s

Ive always had problems with my brows. Whoever did them always made one more arched than the other. Luckily i found Dianna! Shes amazing. She does such a beautiful and clean job. I really recommend her!

Due to a bad experience at a brow threading kiosk in Northridge (which involved bits of my skin getting scrapped), I haven’t gotten my brows done in a long while. They were bad; like two little black weeping willow trees on my face. Taking a leap of faith, I booked an appointment with Ivonne at the Benefit brow bar located on the 2^nd floor of Macy’s.
She’s the best! I’m glad I booked an appointment with her. She lets you know beforehand what she’ll do with your eyebrows so you won’t be left in the dark, and to make sure you’re in safe hands.
Ivonne waxed my brows and offered to keep them natural or defined. I’ve had both done by her on separate visits. With ‘defined’, I got dark bold brows with sharp angles, while ‘natural’ makes me look like I had thick brows to begin with. She even covers up any redness after the procedure so I don’t have to walk around the mall self consciously. I love it! She’s really nice too!
Ladies (and guys), if you need help with your brows, please go and schedule an appointment with Ivonne (not sure if she accepts walk ins). It’s $ 20 for her brow services, and she does lip and chin (separate service) if you need that taken care of.

After being ignored at Nordstroms Anastasia brow and coldly told that they couldn’t help me 10 mins later I decided to go to Macy’s Benefit brow bar. Ivonne did a great job. She Explained the natural brow shape by getting in detail the symmetry in lines from your nose to the brow. She did a wax and tweeze and was attentive to what I wanted. Not too thin and as natural as possible. For $ 20 and a clean job. I definitely recommend it.

I love it so much here! I have been doing my eyebrows for a couple of years now and I have never been as satisfied with the results as I have been since coming here. Ivonne has been so amazing! Before, I used to thread my eyebrows as many of my friends and family members do now, but I was always very disappointed. The only time I was happy with my eyebrows was the very first time I threaded. I used to go to a threading salon inside the Topanga mall as well and I tried it out with a couple different ladies that worked there. I’m not sure what it was, maybe it was because I kept switching over, but some were very immature and I felt as if they messed up my eyebrows on purpose. I once came out crying because of how poorly done my eyebrows were, they were never even and the ladies always had excuses for messing up. I was so fed up until I coincidentally went into Macy’s and Ivonne approached me and asked about my eyebrows. Not once have I been disappointed with anything she does. She takes her own time and never rushes, she lets you know before hand what changes she will do to your eyebrows and what their natural form is. I don’t think the service gets any better than at Benefit Brow Bar. I love it so much, I highly recommend it. You will definitely not be disappointed!
