How great is store pick up? Not at all. No where on the HT website does it say that in store pick up could take more than twice as long as standard shipping would.
Not only that but when i went to the store to find out approximately how long my stuff would take to get to their store from where it’s being shipped in Tennessee, the employees passed me around from one another. When i finally got this employee to assist me he just told me to wait for it to get to the store, he turned his head to another employee then walked away. I’m all for getting to the point, but being polite is key.

Love this chain and this branch is a good one. Very clean, well organized and stocked, and the employees are helpful and friendly in the best possible way, never pushy. If there were any way to improve, it would be to have a larger space so navigating the store isn’t an interpretive dance.

Pros:
Hot Topic has some cool shit.
The staff here are lovely– helpful and attentive.
their sales are great.
Cons:
this store is very small.
There are always loads of big sizes in clothing but it’s very hard to find the small sizes in stock so I usually have to buy online :/​
Sadly Hot Topic seems to be becoming the goth version of Torrid (ya i know theyre the same company). I usually have to order my alt clothes from europe now to get the proper xs fit :/
