I ordered 2 chilli cheese but they forgot to put cheese on the hot dog, I told her and she brought me a small cup of cheese after.

I like this Wienerschnitzel. We go here every once in a while and(while not healthy) it tastes good and it is a fair price! Once we ordered quite a bit, and they had forgetten 2 corndogs. I had not noticed until I got home. I called them to tell them and they said to come by another day to get them. I went a few days later and had no problem. Very pleased.

Please stick to hot dogs!!! Pastrami is absolutely terrible the worst sandwich I have ever had I should know better than order pastrami in a hot dog joint… Stick to what you do best. Bring back the bratwursts…

This used to be a great location. For years I came regularly after church with my family. The manager & and employees were always cheerful & hardworking. Most importantly, the food and desserts were awesome. Hot, plenty of toppings, well-made, etc. But this past year, This place has gone severely downhill. Now the employees are aloof, don’t even give you utensils, and make the food terrible. They are incredibly skimpy on the toppings and spend time talking among each other while you wait an extra several minutes for you food. Worst thing is they simply look like they don’t care. It’s a shame. I considered saying something to the manager or employees, but by their expressions, I could tell my feedback would not be welcome. I’ve been disappointed so many times by the poor customer service and food quality here that today was my last visit.

Great Food, a lot cleaning now. Friendly staff and quick service. I ordered Bratwurst and loved it, with chili and grilled onions. Guess what? Mini Corn dogs are back. They running 25 cent promotion per mini. They seem a lot bigger then the ones they had before. I’m coming back to get 100 for football Sunday tomorrow with friends.

This is one of my guiltiest pleasures. To be honest, my body can only handle this delicious crap about 2−3x per year MAX. My coworkers and I come here, usually for lunch after we’ve cycled through every single place in the area. We end up doing chili cheese dogs, corn dogs, their triple cheese and bacon fries … ice cream … etc. If only it came out feeling as good as it went in ;-) LOL

This is the longest I have ever waited for food at a drive thru. I literally waited for 20 minutes to pull up to the speaker to order with only 2 cars ahead that had already ordered, one being a huge truck making it not possible for me to pull up all the way. After I ordered it took another 15 minutes to get my food. Mind you I only ordered chilli cheese fries and a couple corn dogs. The people working here must be lazy or dumb. The food is good, I mean only as good as fast food can be which is why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of one. Don’t come here on your lunch break expecting to get in and out quickly.

Everything gets smaller — buns and dogs. But it’s pretty much the same food as it has been forever. If you eat here too much, you will most likely die sooner than later!

I ordered a small fry, chili cheese hot dog, and a strawberry lemonade. The total came out to $ 5.95 and it was a fair price. My fries were fresh, my chili cheese dog was very appealing and smelled good too, and my lemonade was decent. I’ve had better. I liked the packaging as well. This place has not changed not one bit which is why I like it because it gives that old school look. Takes me back to when I was in high school, when I used to beg my dad to take me here. Anyways, I really enjoyed my meal. It’s very rare that I eat here or eat anything fast food but I just had to because u was craving it since I was so close. I also appreciate the staff for being friendly and courteous and keeping the place clean.

I stopped in here the other day and this place is not too bad for fast food. The Kosher dog was really good and the sauer kraut is decent too(but not NYC or Chicago good). The ice cream was pretty good too. The service was just OK so 1 star minus but overall it was a nice place to stop by if you are busy.

I like to get the combo with two chili dogs, fries, and a drink. I’m a big fat fattie. We had«won» a free corn dog during one of their promotions and were trying to use it at our visit and the guy told us the promotion was over and it wasn’t good anymore. The bf pointed out that the voucher expired in January 2015. The guy then said«oh well, let me see if the computer will take it because it was updated» or something like that. He eventually honored the voucher, but I just think he was being lazy. I know it’s just a free corn dog, but don’t give us a hard time about it.

This place sucks!!! Waited about 10mins and then decided to drive up to see what’s up… people just in there chatting and had to ask if I could place an order. Damn girl at window barely turned around to take it and then it took about 10 mins to get order! Seriously!!! Get your shit together, it’s a hot dog place. How hard can it be!!!

The one thing I look forward to on a Saturday? Something cold and sweet to try out. Although, its known for hot dogs, in my books, its known for their daily specials. Grab a cold treat and something with a hot dog. Let’s head over to Weinerschnitzel in Canoga Park. Located half a block west of De Soto and Sherman Way, you’ll find the yellow and red building that serves some quick hot dogs. If you are at the DMV, RIGHTNOW, you can just walk two blocks west and relax after passing the test. The reason I love Saturdays is because of their $ 1.99 Freezees. Its sad that a lot of people don’t take advantage of the Daily Specials. Yes, Weinerschnitzel is meant for hot dogs, but its the sweet treats that keep me coming back for more. You can get a Freezee with M&Ms, Oreos, or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. Of course, why wait for the summer to try a corn dog?! Check your weekly mailers, you can get corn dogs($ 0.79) during their Weinerschnitzel Happy Hour(2−5pm). Corn dogs are always delicious and even better then the grocery stores. Its the same size. Sometimes, I might even get a special offer for 99 cent chili fries. You know it definitely doesn’t end well… When you order, not just one, but two chili fries. On some occassions, I do order a hot dog, but not anything special… Maybe a Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog once in awhile. There are no many places that strictly serves hot dogs, but its always feels right to see a Weinerschnitzel around the corner… Even though there are only a small handful in the San Fernando Valley. There are only a few tables, but most people just use the drive-thru for the grab and bite. I wonder if Weinerschnitzel had any say for the LA’s Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog. You think I write too much? Well, you can call me a Unilocal-O-Holic!

WOW! Gonna be hard to forget this place after spending a week recovering from a severe food poisoning. Other highlights of this place include rude, dumb-faced employees and a terrible location/drive-thru.

I never review the food at chains – it’s always the same. So, I review what’s unique to that restaurant. It’s super old-school. The drive through speaker is so close to the window, you could yell your order. The access to the drive through is tricky. You really need to approach it from the driveway on Sherman Way. If you try the side street, it’s not going to work, unless you’re in a Smart car. The service is friendly, though they need to learn how to make change. My bill was $ 4.83. I gave the guy a five-dollar bill, a nickel, and three pennies. He looked perplexed. The clock was ticking. Eventually, he gave me back two dimes and nickel.

Let’s be honest, it’s Wienerschnitzel; if you don’t know what you’re in for, then maybe keep driving. (In fact, there is a taco truck across the little side street, which I will review soon, that you should go to. It’s great!) Late night chili cheese dogs are what drinking is all about! Right?! Sometimes the chili tastes a little burnt, which is no good, but it’s a risk worth taking. The drive through is angled weird and they often can’t hear what you need. Sometimes you have to order at the pick up window since their sound system is so anciently bad! I’ll endure all such hardships for the late night chili cheese dog!
