Bob’s Break Station

Bob’s Break Station provides a great opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities to work and provide great beverages and snacks to members of the community. Caring BOB staff assist the workers and the break station gives real life experience in social skills, preparing food and customer service. If you are in the Stark County area, stop by Bob’s Break Station in the Metropolitan Building. I may be biased as my brother works here on Fridays, but I think this place is amazing. If you are from the area and are not familiar with Bob’s Break Station, then let me give you some background information.
BOB (Beyond Our Boundaries) is a program for individuals with special needs. You can read a little about their program here:
They have rented out this coffee shop area in order to have individuals work in a real world setting.
They offer coffee (K-​cups of many varieties) and snacks (packaged as well as home made). The reason the coffee and brownie you are scarfing down taste so delicious is because part of the money you just paid is being put back into this amazing program. You get coffee and they get more independence and life experience.
What is better than enjoying your morning cup of coffee? Enjoying your morning cup of coffee and giving back to the community in the process.
