This restaurant has authentic Chinese food. I am Asian and I know the difference. Everything is fresh and taste great. This place deserve higher rating. My personal favorite was walnut shrimp.

FROMMYDAUGHTER: The menu has things kids would like, but it is served only for grown ups. For example, the Sweet and Sour chicken came already loaded with S&S sauce all over it.(We regret to inform you that there is no kids menu, at least for lunch) FROMME: Very polite, well prepared, good atmosphere. They did everything we asked, but there were things we didn’t know we needed to ask.(Like the sauce situation)

This joint is co-owned or just another Sichuan resto on Ford Rd. Except it is ine ding style, less serving per plate and pricey.

Ordered shrimp in light sauce with vegetables. Received gray(raw) tiny shrimp arranged on bed of vegetables with dark sauce. Refused order — was gaggable to everyone at the table — and will never return!

We ordered chicken fire rice and Mongolian beef. We got a lo mein instead. We called back and told the man and he got mad and cues me of being racist because he’s Chinese. My nephews are Asian. He thought we wanted to get a free order but I willing to pay for his mistake I really just had a craving for Mongolian beef anyways in the end food wasn’t great rice was dried out but beef in the noodle was good

This place will charge you extra if you use a credit card. They won’t tell you but there is a sign posted. Credit cards are part of doing business. Don’t charge customers extra! I’ll pass and take my business to Szechuan on Ford Road.

I called for a delivery and was told 30 – 45 minutes which I had no problem with. The driver arrived literally 20 minutes after I called! Add to that the food tastes absolutely amazing! I ordered the shrimp lo mein with crab rangoon and a spring roll and I have to say that this is some of the best food that I have! Definitely a place I’ll try again.

Came here for lunch with the wife. She had the Almond chicken and me the Szechuan chicken. Both lunch specials with hot and sour soup and an egg roll. It’s way far away from our house but we were at ikea and wanted to eat(not at ikea). It’s almost work the over 1 hour drive!!! I am considering going back soon just for food because it was that good. I did watch a customer fight with one of the lady employees in the lobby and felt bad because of his lack of understanding and how rude he was so we over tipped.

Are there last night and the food was good and fresh! The staff was attentive and pleasant. Great vegetarian selection.

All our dishes were included components that were fried heavily, more so than the average Chinese restaurant, and saturated with oil. I felt interminably thirsty and heavy from dinner. I suppose it is more difficult to get fresh ingredients in MI than on the West coast where I’ve had most my Chinese restaurant food, so upping the oil in cooking is one way to make the food seem more appetizing.

The food was very tasty, the dumplings were the best we have had. My Double Delight(H12) was quite good and my husband enjoyed his Curry Delight. Will eat again, service was attentive, nice music, décor. They even deliver meals.

I usually get the General Tso’s chicken and Hunan Chicken. This is my chinese to go place and the food is nice and consistent.

Best Chinese food in the area, bar none. I’ve been searching for a while and this has been consistently good in service and food. The food is fresh and hot. I’ve had the hot and sour soup which is both hot and sour without the gumminess at other Chinese joints. The food is not greasy and the egg foo young was hot off the wok sizzling from my plate, not droopy or soggy. I’ve had their appetizers and again the food is freshly prepared. While it may not be as «authentic» as some may want, this place is top notch for an American like me and I’m loving it!

Great food. However, lately I’ve been receiving small/oddly sized portions with my lunch specials. They also never make my dish spicy enough despite my major emphasis on wanting it extra spicy. Wouldn’t recommend ordering delivery during the lunch hour. You will be waiting for at least an hour for your now lukewarm food. Any other time of day they’re very speedy.

Ok; this was my third chinese restaurant since moving to the area. While the food wasn’t bad, it’s not the best«In My Opinion» of the three I’ve had. While the shrimp fried rice was flavorful it didn’t have that authentic taste of fish oil and soy sauce, plus the shrimp wasn’t De — veined, their General Tso wasn’t bad, the flavors was off and the pan fried dumplings was generic warehouse bought, which appears to be the norm with most of the Chinese restaurant in this area. Overall my experience was 6 out of 10. NOTE: To be far… Chopstick House does offer two different menus«American and Authentic». Chinese food is difficult to rate fairly, because everyone has a different take on what’s authentic chinese. For me I’m still giving«Best China» on Lilly & Warren the #1 spot.

Very good food… Hot and Sour soup is tasty. Servers and staff are so nice… the bathroom’s aren’t as clean as they should be… but other than that it’s ok. We stop here for lunch every time we go to IKEA. The food: It’s very good… fresh and made to order. My only complaint was I had spring rolls last time(on a Sat) and they contained shrimp. I am allergic to shrimp. Didn’t turn out well. The menu indicated they are veggie but I am told on the weekends, they serve them with Shrimp. This info should be told to customers ahead of time. Due to this… I don’t think I will return. I can’t take that change again.

Best Chinese food in Canton, bar none. There is never too much breaking on different fried chicken meals and unlike most Chinese places where you feel gross after, the better quality food at Chopstick house makes you feel great afterward! A little more expensive then other places but you get what you pay for!

Nothing like getting some Chinese delivery from here after a good workout. They show up fast and deliver great food and great portions. The guy who usually answers the phone is always courteous and thorough.

My Chinese wife is always looking for authentic cuisine instead of the numerous Americanized restaurants that litter our area. Of course, we’re both hesitant to spend money on new places that we may not fully enjoy. Well, we came to the Chopstick House based on Unilocal’s favorable reviews. I looked up their menu online to see that I could at least get spicy chicken, which is my favorite faux Chinese item. I don’t care for traditional Chinese food, but that’s what she wanted. While there, she spent quite some time studying the menu for something she wanted. She said the menu was filled with a lot of non-Chinese items. She even spoke to a manager, but he said, «We don’t serve traditional Chinese items. We serve more of the, um, you know… more popular American choices.» My wife ordered something she would like anyway. I ordered the spicy chicken with peanuts and peppers, and I got it with a hot spice level. It was a large portion. However, it was not very spicy at all and only had maybe four dried peppers in it. It was still good but definitely not as spicy as the waitress indicated it would be. Temperature-wise, it was also somewhat warm. She ordered the«triple hot pot,» which is a soup filled with chicken, beef, shrimp, and several vegetables and mushrooms. She said it was very good but commented on the low level of meat in it. Because of the large number of other places we have yet to try, there’s a chance we simply might not come back here. Although, from my perspective, it was good. From my wife’s Chinese perspective, she said, «Eh, it was okay.»

Food is delicious here if you order right. My problem is the rudeness of the owners. For the record I have complained about this both in person and via email and they have not in any way apologized or sympathized. In person I got a lame explanation, attitude and a bit shamed for wanting and expecting to eat during their scheduled hours, via email I received no response after plenty of time now. My husband and I have made this our tradition after that first Christmas. On Christmas day it is always just us so we come here, eat Chinese then skip across the freeway to watch a movie at Emagine. We have come as late as seven pm and never a problem. We eat, getting some stuff to go for later and are usually happy as clams. This year we showed up at 5:30ish. I had called ahead(as I always do on Christmas) earlier that day to confirm their hours. I specifically asked what time will you be seating until. I was assured 7pm. We had to drop my parents at the airport so we were running late but we did get there an hour and a half before the seating cutoff they informed me of at 1pm. The problem is they had just cut off seating. We could get carry out but it was going to be about an hour(first told 45 minutes, then 50, then an hour) it turned into over an hour in reality, about an hour and 15. As we had planned it all out we bought movie tickets that were starting 2 hours and 15 minutes after 5:30, when we were supposed to be sat. That was the last showtime we could make and my husband still get sleep enough to work the next day. Well we lost out on the movie. Sad because they had us over a barrel, we had nowhere else planned to dine and had no idea what if anything would be open. By the hour and fifteen mark, then 20 minutes we trucked the food home, ate and returned after twenty minutes our movie would be half over. Oh yeah and I am diabetic and had taken my meds so I got charged wayyyyyy to much for a can of pop to up my blood sugar so I did not pass out. Thanks, so sympathetic. Basically this has totally soured us on the place. No sorry, no nothing just a blank stare and terse *owner decision*. Even though obviously others plan the same and about forty to fifty people showed up expecting to eat while we waited. Shame on them for ruining people’s nights when they are between a rock and a hard place dining wise. I have no problem with restaurants closing for Christmas but it is rude to tell people a few hours before you will seat until 7 and then change your mind before 5:30 and not even be a hint apologetic. Yeah I loved the attitude and eyerolls too like they were doing us a MAJOR favor but putting up with us and giving us a to go. Guess that tells me all I need to know about how this business feels about their customers.
