This D’Angelo’s is quick and fast service. The price is good for the quality of the food. I come in here every week or so and get the perfect sub. The crew is great. The manager, I think his name is Rob, always has a smile on his face and is so friendly. I will come here as often as I can. Love this store. Recommended

I must like to punish myself because I’ve come back knowing that I’d have a shitty experience. I wanted to order using the D’Angelo iPhone application but it’s not possible to order from this D’Angelo using it. I wanted to use my loyalty card but it’s like pulling teeth. I wanted a copy of the itemized receipt along with my credit card receipt. Nope. The point of sale terminal is archaic. The men’s bathroom? Disgusting. The location seemingly hasn’t been remodeled in twenty-five years. The food is okay but it used to be much better. Sigh…

Ordered a medium meatball sub to go yesterday. The middle aged man took my order(may have been the manager or owner). There was a short line of people waiting. The sub was ready between 5 – 10 minutes but it would’ve been quicker if he wasn’t flirting with one of the two female employees. The paper bags was smeared with tomato sauce. When I unwrapped the wax paper, the sub was a complete mess. It looked like a child put the sub together. I was very hungry and inhaled the sub. Not much to say about the food.

It’s 8:40pm on a Saturday night. If you close at 9pm, why is the door locked with no employees in sight?!

I want to start by saying that I am not a difficult customer. I will eat almost anything and I order clearly. This D’Angelos SUCKS. I ordered a steak and cheese wrap and the older lady at the counter rang me up. The manager ran over like his pants were on fire because apparently she had calculated the price incorrectly and they made me hand my card back over for $ 2.00. The lady looked at me and said«I ASKED you if you had a REGULAR wrap.» I thought I did? I said«I thought it was a regular wrap…» and she snapped back«WELLLETTHATBEYOURLESSONFORTODAY!» She sucks. the manager sucks, and I will never go back. For $ 2 they lost a customer who would have come back at least monthly. And to top it off I am 6 months pregnant in 90 degree heat… give me a freakin break. I am going to complain to corporate as well because I think that lady should be written up.

I have come to expect a decent level of friendliness and efficiency from most D’angelo locations. This one is sort of middle of the road in that department. It’s an older store which has not gotten the latest décor package they started rolling out a few years ago. They also do not take online orders which is a big drawback for me as I like to order online from my desk at work and then just swing by and grab my sandwich. On my latest order they gave me a rice bowl instead of a sandwich. Can’t imagine how one makes that mistake. When in doubt, wouldn’t you ask the customer or at least default to a sandwich? Who wants a rice bowl which amounts to taking everything that would have been on the sandwich and slopping it into a takeout container filled with rice and then shaking it up so it looks real nasty?

Paul is so right about the sandwiches being weighed and skimpy. D’angelos used to be such an exciting treat when I was little, but now I barely go there. When everyone at work goes to D’angelos I usually opt out. The quality of food doesn’t measure up to the deli in the next plaza over. The people are pretty friendly at this location, but sometimes the older lady at the register gets really snappy. They do have good cookies though at the register, I think they get their treats locally.

Oh what happened to this place! D’Angelo’s in Canton, Ma on Rt. 138 was one of the first locations. It was a converted old house. A more upscale mom & pop Sub place, it had a theme but was not quit a franchise yet. used to come here all the time in the 80’s. This was back when they didn’t skimp on the sub toppings. Subs were beefy and stuffed to the brim. #9 Pocket with the works was masterful. And it was all for about $ 5 those days are gone! My mom worked here thought out the 90’s food was still not bad. Then Pepsi bought them out, They became over commercial. cheaper pre-measured portions. I got to watch the official training video, I was whacked all the toppings come pre-measured in these little baggies. Now the food is just cheap over priced crap! Go to your local Sub joint you will be happier.
