Goodwill Store- Canton

I love this Goodwill! It’s always clean and they have good deals (50% off certain color tags on certain days, and there are always coupons in the mail). So much more organized and cleaner than the Salvation Army in Canton.

Friendly, clean and meets my mother’s exacting standards. My mother has not stepped into a charity/​used store since the Cancer Society closed theirs in downtown Plymouth. That was some fourteen years back when I scored two Ethan Allen (in perfect condition) end tables for 50 bucks (for both!). I still use those tables and they are amazing. I buy used a lot though.
I lured her into Goodwill with the promise of 99¢ paperbacks and $ 1.99 hardcovers. She has never been above used books. Once I got her in the door? Yeah. She’s hooked.
We found a Coach purse in excellent condition for 19.99, a Louis Vuitton purse in very good shape (not knockoffs) for 18.99 and we scooped up both. Sunglasses for a mere five bucks, several pairs as we both lose them. Stylish but cheap as chips. Books upon books upon books. yeah they had to get us a big box from the back for our haul. She even found a 44 buck chair. A comfy sturdy and clean chair. She even already has a pretty slipcover that will make it work with her room. Happiness.
I love this place!

Too expensive. I am not sure why a place that gets items for free thinks its okay to sell things that are not in demand for more then the clearance sticker from the store that donated the goods gets off!

The best Goodwill I’ve ever been to. That’s saying a lot because I’m a thrift store junkie.

Still my favorite place. I really, really love that all items of the same kind (skirts, dresses, etc) are all the same price. There’s no question when you pick up two of the same thing that they will be the same price. This store also doesn’t have the smell associated with most thrift stores. If you didn’t know any better you’d think it were a regular department store.

This store is the bomb.
There are tons of *desirable* gently-​used clothing items here, as well as new accessories like hats, belts, jewelry and undergarments. Everything is reasonably priced considering how clean and friendly the store is.
Yes, you may pay [just a little bit] more than Value World, but you also avoid sifting through 3 racks of garbage to find one nice item. It’s obvious they don’t just throw everything that’s donated on their racks to sell, because then they’d be no better than their competition!
In addition to the clothing, shoes and accessories, this location also has a large selection of vinyl records and CDs. The vinyl wasn’t what we collect, but if you’re into classic country, Barbara Streisand or classical, check it out.
Employees were friendly and fast. The store was clean, bright and organized! It’s very modern; it changes the way you see a thrift store.

This might be the best GoodWill I have been at in a long time. Certainly being a new location and new build has alot to do with that. But, we donate frequenlty and the staff was great and the process was made easy by them.
The place is clean, modern. It probably attracts quality because of it. Maybe the only knock is the lack of space for parking.
I recommend this location for donating.

this place rocks! how a thrift store should be…
there is a salvation army in canton not too far from here that i DO NOT recommend! waaaay overpriced at the salvation army! i guarantee this goodwill will put them out of biz the way they are pricing things over there. im all for charity and all that but get real!!!

I love this store, you walk in and its clean and fresh smelling! I go aleast once a week. Employee’s couldnt be any nicer! I get alot of quality shoes and clothes «mostly for all my grandaughters» and stuff for all my family! Other stores are dark and depressing, but not this one! you can find so many top brands, it sure pays to shop there. I also like the special color of the week for half off prices! Great great prices and selection. Keep up the good work!!.

Goodwill is very clean and the staff is friendly. Everything here is clean and organized, it has a lot better feel to it when your shopping there compared to other thrift stores. I think you’ll be surprised at how nice this location is to shop at and to donate.

So I have been an Thrift Store Junkie since I was a small child. I have been in some of the worst thrift stores in the state of Michigan. This goodwill store is the cream of the crop! First off the store is CLEAN!!! I know totally shocking. When I entered the store every employee said hello and they were happy to be there! They had a really amazing selection of clothing. The furniture was really clean and in great condition. There were tons of items that were brand new!
The prices were a little on the high side but I will gladly pay more not to feel like my skin is crawling after leaving the store. Don’t get me wrong I always have hand sanitizer, but I actually tried on some clothing rather than just guessing that they will fit.
When I mentioned to the employees that this was the nicest Goodwill store they told me it was a «Flagship store.» They have a member rewards program!!! If you spend enough you will get a coupon for 15% off, they have a facebook page, and will send you coupons to your e-​mail address!
I will definatily be back to this location. They opened in Dec 2010, so here is hopeing that it stays a clean and friendly location!
