I wish I could give less than a 1 star review because this place is absolutely ridiculous, I bought something 20 days ago and it broke as soon as I got home and when I went to return it they absolutely wouldn’t even give me store credit for this piece of junk I was given. I would recommend never coming here ever because this place is absolutely ridiculous, they have the worst, rude and unfriendly staff and I know the Salvation Army is Anti-gay and I am never coming here ever again. I feel sad that this store is my neighborhood and that people support it. They need to change some of their policies especially when it’s their fault.

I am a fan of this drop off center, super convenient and fast drive up. The store inside is huge as well and organized. When I stop in I always dive into their LP collection, and I’m never disappointed. Though I’m sure people drop off a lot of junk that is well used, they seem to filter well at this store and there is a ton of stuff. Support your local Salvation Army.

I killed several hours at this huge location, coming away with 3 dresses, a pair of shoes, and several sweaters(including one cashmere one). They had a bewildering array of sweaters arranged by color(though not size). Prices were somewhat inconsistent, with a Calvin Klein sheath dress at $ 15, while a Max Studio dress(typically $ 30 – 40 new at Nordstrom Rack) in similar condition was priced at $ 20. Same goes for the boutique area, which contained run-of-the-mill discount store brands along with higher end items. I appreciated the fact that they didn’t try and put a huge markup on vintage jackets. The only disappointing thing is that I don’t live closer. PROS dressing rooms(versus the Value Worlds) Vintage jackets weren’t ridiculously priced. CONS Pricing for some items was a bit arbitrary. Closed Sundays MICHELLE’S RANKEDLIST(best to worst)* 1. Canton Salvation Army 2. Westland Value World 3. Detroit Salvation Army 4. Detroit Value World 5. Canton Goodwill *Based on my biased opinion generated after a single visit to each.
