I have been here multiple times and Sonya B. always does awesome work! She is perfectionist and knows exactly what will look best on me after listening to what I’d like. I always leave happy and feeling like a model. She is so friendly and sweet and I look forward to seeing her every time! She is the best hairstylist and colorist out there I have ever had and I’ve been coloring and doing my hair for many many years!

I have been seeing a wonderful stylist, Jamie, who does an incredible job with my hair. She styled it the day before I left for Europe… It stayed beautiful and felt clean for almost a week… She’s just great! She truly understands hair!

I have finally found the hairdresser of my dreams! Last year, I needed a quick fix after two horrible cuts in a row at another salon. This was days before flying out of state to a very special event, and I needed to find a salon open on Sundays. I was so very fortunate in being able to make an appointment with Melissa, who is GREAT at dealing with curly hair! Most hairdressers don’t take into account that when cut, curls become so much shorter than when hair is wet. I have always had to be concerned about feeling awful about my cut the first two weeks or so afterwards. This is never a problem with Melissa! She really listens to me AND offers helpful suggestions. I totally rely on her judgment as far as styling AND color. In addition, she has such a sweet personality. The spa is spotlessly clean. The massage chairs and atmosphere at the washing stations truly create a feeling of peacefulness and serenity. I know that I will be in good hands when I book an appointment with Melissa. :)

Always receive great service! I get regular facials with Kara and hair styling from Melissa. They are top notch! Well worth your time and money at Green Tangerine!

I have gotten lowlights, completely dyed my hair (brown, dark brown, and auburn), chopped off nearly a foot of hair, and just gotten a trim here. I absolutely love this place and would recommend them to anyone in need of any hair styling.
I have seen Sana and Debbie a few times and both of them are wonderful. I’ve seen a couple others as well, all of whom have been great.

The best salon I have ever experienced! I have been going to Green Tangerine for over two years, and my stylist is Sue Ann.
Everything from the moment you make an appointment, to entering the salon for you appointment, is done in a warm and professional manner. A delightful atmosphere!
Sue Ann is amazing, and I highly recommend her, not only is she a professional, and a superb stylist, but Sue Ann pays a great deal of attention to her clients. E very time that you see her, Sue Ann will ask, you, how happy you are with your hairstyle, color etc. and what you would like done, as well as making suggestiosn, she will explain in a manner that you understand, Sue Ann is a warm and caring person, who loves what she is doing, and from my experience, she is just perfect!
I have always been happy with her suggestions, and let her do what she suggests, and my hair has never looked or felt this good, I get so many compliments on my hair, a s a matter of fact, I was there today and as I was leaving a woman came up to me and said how much she loved my hair, I simply said to her make an appointment with Sue Ann and you will be a very happy woman when she does your hair, she is the best!
I have nothing but great things to say about Green Tangerine and their entire staff, and trust me you will feel pampered. I would not even consider going to another salon or stylist. If you have not tried Green Tangerine, you are missing out on a special experience,

I have gone to Green Tangerine in Canton over past 3 years for different services. I have received a 60 minute massage, a mens haircut and a pedicure.
I dont usually go to spas, but this one is very convenient in the Farmington Valley Shoppes and is very clean.
Every service I got was well worth the price.

I’ve been going to the Green Tangerine on and off for a few years. It started with just going to have a massage, I always left feeling relaxed and a hundred times better.
After going to a few different salons and falling prey to box hair dye my friend persuaded me to go. I saw Amy for my color, who was super friendly and excited to give me almost Ariel red hair. She did an excellent job and I left feeling completely satisfied.
I was able to snag an appointment with Sana to get my cut, and I have complete faith in her ability. Both times I gave her a very loose idea of what I wanted and let her run with it. Both times I loved the outcome. She would then blow dry my hair and actually style my hair, which was great.
I love the zen like feel of the salon, the friendly staff and I’m addicted to the shampoo massage chairs. It’s defiantly worth it.

I’ve been going to Green Tangerine for about 2 years now. I always see Mackenzie and have even converted a friend of mine to go see Mackenzie as well. I’ve also had another stylist one time when I had an event and Mackenzie wasn’t going to be available. I loved them both. I’ve always been trepid about hair salons because I’ve had a lot of bad experiences. One of my best friends is a hair stylist and I thought she was the only one I could trust to do my hair, but she lives in Maine, so it makes things difficult. So I wanted to find a more local hair stylist. Basically the first time I went in I had a vision in my head of what I wanted and Mackenzie brought it to life. Since then I have never looked back and while the prices are a bit high for my budget, I do it anyway because it’s worth it to get what I want. I get so many compliments on my hair and I owe it all to Mackenzie. I would 100% recommend this salon to anyone who is looking to get a great haircut/​color :)

This is a great place to get your hair done. I’ve been going to Sana for several years through many hair styles — from very long to short hair — lots of color and highlights, too — she’s blow dried it straight, curled it, flipped it, you name it. Sana can always find something to suit my mood. Since she’s a senior level stylist the prices are a little high but that’s probably why I’m always satisfied. The atmosphere is nice (quiet and lots of light) and the front desk staff are very nice, too. I only go maybe 5 or 6 times a year yet most of them know me and are pretty friendly, too.

I have very curly hair, cut short, so it needs a lot of attention. I started using Amy to cut my hair and have had several years of wonderful experiences. The front desk staff is accommodating and helpful, the atmosphere is much quieter and more relaxing than my previous salon. But most importantly, Amy does a fabulous job on my hair. Now my husband and both daughters, both with long hair, will only let Amy take care of them.

I have curly hair and try to find stylists who will do a proper curly hair cut, which is done dry for those of you who aren’t aware.
When I first came in, the receptionist was very kind and offered me a beverage. They have a lot of hair products that you can buy. When my stylist brought me to her station, it was set up in a very quaint manner. They have tall armoire-​looking spaces behind their workstation to hold all of their products. It keeps the floor open and neat which I hadn’t seen before.
My stylist was Sue Ann and she was wonderful. She seemed to really understand my hair even though hers is straight. She was even able to teach me some tricks that I found very handy.
When she washed my hair at the end, the chair you sit in reclines and… get this… massages. Very nice. I could have stayed there all day. The products she used on me were MoroccanOil which was awesome.
Overall I had a great experience here and would go back in a heart beat. Its more than the typical $ 30-​$ 40 hair cut, but when you’re getting makes it worth it in my opinion.

The haircuts are great, which is why I came back. However, the staff at the front desk has a long way to go in being truly accommodating. It goes beyond awardly asking if I’d like tea. I brought my daughter with me, as I wasn’t able to find someone for her to stay with. We had enjoyed a nice lunch quietly in Barnes and Noble, and she was looking forward to watching me have my hair styled. Apparently it was far too much trouble to place a mat on the floor so she could sit and read her books. I have a sick feeling about businesses, and people in general, who do not see children as human beings.

I normally wouldn’t come here because it seems a little pricey, but I got a gift certificate form an 80-​minute Swedish massage… and I mean, who would ever turn that down?
Green Tangerine in Canton is really cute… decorated very well, not loud at all, very pleasant and courteous girls working reception, etc. I came in 15 minutes early and was offered water, tea, coffee, etc. As I was waiting for my masseur (Zoe) to come get me, I watched some people get their hair cut and styled, everyone seemed very happy.
My masseur came out about ten minutes late, and I was worried that that meant she would cut my massage short ten minutes. It took a couple minutes for me to dress down, and then had a complimentary foot bath? Good deal, not complaining.
Zoe brought me into the massage room (again, everything here is impeccably clean), and I received a fantastic massage. Very thorough, very serene, everything was fantastic. Zoe was very easy to talk with and did a great job. Highly recommended.
And then when I left — I had a full 80 minute massage! That’s not including the wait time, changing into my robe, or the foot bath. That really made me very happy.
Overall, a very solid experience — if you can swing the green, call them up!

Definitely make a trip here to see Scarlett Field for the haircut that doesn’t look like a haircut! Scarlett is super attentive to what you want done and cleans everything up without that awkward look of a new haircut. Been to her several times always with the same result, an awesome cut with low maintenance. My only complaint is I don’t have her to style it everyday! Great with color too!

I’ve been to this place several times now and overall experience was good.
I am Asian so have been wary about the type of salons to go to. My first visit was ok, didn’t like the hairstylist as much and she was worth about $ 75. She was supposed to be better skilled but I didn’t like how she styled my hair.
My second and third visit were the same stylist and I liked what she did at the end. She was much cheaper but I think she does a better job.
All 3 visits I had asked for a trim and so far they haven’t done anything that I don’t like.
My boyfriend on the other hand went to get a trim on my third visit but it didn’t look like they trimmed anything. Maybe a few straggling hair at the back but they didn’t do much to make his hair look a little more well-​kept. We were afraid of the stylist messing it up so we just asked for a trim. In the end we just think of it as he was charged for the wash and dry, not the cut lol
I won’t bring my boyfriend back but I will bring myself back.
