Serving size is the size you would serve a 5 year old child. I will never order from here again. What a rip off. The taste of the food is bland, no seasoning at all.

This place is proving it’s fine food and service by its expansion. Very good all around. Always packed, especially on Sundays after church. I usually dine in or take out 2 – 3 times a month.

Overall this is a great place. I «eat clean» and didn’t find the wait staff to accommodating in suggesting alterations to current menu items. I was able to find a salad out if a great salad selection. Beware the baked sweet potato Is mutant in size. Service a tad bit slow on the check out but overall a will stop again kinda place!

We had to wait a while for our table(because we had 8 adults and 5 kids), but it worked out beautifully because we ended up getting the back room to ourselves with the kids at one table and adults at another. From there the service was pretty quick, and everyone seemed pleased with their food. I love their sweet tater chips and always get russian dressing in addition to the dip it comes with. Wish I would have had room for pie, but it just wasn’t happening.

One of my favorite places to go when I visit home! They have a wide variety of menu items-soups, salads, pizza, sandwiches, and entrees. They are know for their grinders. I always get a vanilla coke-taste so much better than from the can! The cheese sticks are good-the Russian dressing is what makes them unique. Finally I order the club croissant. The croissants are always flaky and fresh. Overall I can’t complain about the food, it is a great price and always tastes just how I remember it. Our server was great as well-always filling our drinks and checking to see if we needed anything. If you have not tried grinders it is worth a visit! I just wish I could save room for a slice of one of their delicious homemade pies.

I’d rate it 3.5 stars, but I will bump it up to 4 if I must. Pretty good overall, especially for lunch or a casual meal. The chicken cashew salad is yummy, and their sweet n sour dressing is amazing. Some of the other dishes leave a bit to be desired. Somewhat overpriced.

So disappointed. We ordered the Philly. It was microwaved the roll was hard and the meat was like rubber, what meat there was. We spent 14.00 on these really bad subs. :(

This is one of my favorite restaurants… anywhere. Sure it can be get a bit crowded and, yes, the waitresses are sometimes testy… but the food is good. I highly recommend The Aviator, toasted, with ham, turkey and pepperoni. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything here that wasn’t good!

This restaurant isn’t bad. It isn’t amazing either. I would go somewhere else if I had the choice, but if I have to eat there then I know I can and it won’t be bad.

Grinders has been a local favorite of mine for over 20 years. They have great soup and of course grinders. Their«Luscious Lemon» pie is very yummy. I agree with Megan G’s review that it is not a date spot, but a good after church, running around restaurant. They are good, quick, and quality service and food.

I cannot make a trip home without eating at Grinders. Call it part supporting the local business and part habit. I’ve never ordered anything except the Southwestern Grinder with mesquite turkey. Mmmm-mmm. Good stuff. The décor has changed over the years and today it seems like they cannot decide if they want to be more down-home country(notice the pies in the case and the ticky tacky gift shop) or just a casual family dining spot. Nonetheless, service is always fast and reliable and you cannot go wrong with any of the grinders.

Ate here with my wife. Together we had the steak salad and the Santa Fe grinder. The grinder was great but the steak salad was pretty bad. The fries in the salad were a nice touch, but the 6 pieces of beef were gamey almost liver tasting. Either the beef was really old or a really bad quality(grade C?).

Any place in Canton that can deliver this as my meal is FAB. + side of baked sweet potato + side of low fat cottage cheese + side of grilled veggies + Kendall Jackson Chardonnay The baked potato comes with butter. Brown sugar is optional. It was no problem to leave both out. I was a little worried that the veggies would be greasy, buttery, oily messes but they were dry(yeay!) and so good. Dining companions had salads which looked fresh, although not really innovative, and soups. The French Onion was soooo yummy, I had a bite. This is a casual place, not a date destination, but I love the combo of sides I can get to make a healthy meal! They do not take reservations, but you CAN call in and put your name in. I’ve always known this to be called a reservation, but whatever.
