I took my car here to get some answers on a noise, that I was sure had to be a wheel bearing. Stopped by on Friday, a mechanic went with me to hear the noise while driving. Upon going about a half mile, he assured me it was positively a wheel bearing on the right side front, and told me to bring it in on Monday and they would replace it.
Took it in on Monday, and did not change the right side because they now thought that it was on the drivers side front. They changed that bearing, and still had the noise, so they took out that new one, and put in another new one, and that didn’t work. WELL, in the process of changing out two bearings that didn’t get rid of the noise, they also broke the ABS Sensor.
Got a call from them that they narrowed the noise down to a possible transmission problem, and they said they had determined the noise was coming form the transmission.
At this point I decided to take the car somewhere else for an opinion.
So, here is what happened. I took the car there, they changed two of the same bearings on the opposite side that I was told was making the noise, they broke the ABS Sensor on the driver side, and I was leaving with the same noise, BUT also now, a broke sensor that I did not have before I took it there.
They wanted to charge me $ 220.00 for their time, AND leave with that broken sensor. I was told they had to charge for the diagnostics, and be able to pay the mechanic, but did offer to knock off the price of what a new sensor would cost me. So I still walked out of there paying $ 150.00 and having more problems wrong with the car, than when I dropped it off.
Will not go back again!!!
GUESS WHAT? AFTER TAKING IT SOMEWHERE ELSE, THEY CHANGED THE FRONT, RIGHT SIDE WHEEL BEARING… AND THE NOISE IS GONE.

I went there, they ran my jimmy out of gas which in turn destroyed my fuel filter. The young guy there slipped up in front of us by telling us and the secretary instantly hushed him. They reluctantly replaced it after a battle… did I forget to mention they actually called me and asked us to bring them a can of gas!!! ANOTHER time, they locked my keys in the car and destroyed my window when they finally got the car back open to retrieve the keys, and when my window fell off the track add I drove off they CLAIMED is because my track was dry and our was my fault. NEVER EVER EVER GO THERE.
THE BIGGEST THEIVES AROUND! WHAT A NIGHTMARE

Stopped in after driving 2200 miles from California to have the fluids topped and be sure some condensation drip wasn’t anything serious for the return trip to Cali. Said $ 70 just to look. Stay classy Mel. I’ll take a pass.

AVOID! Many other review sites list deceptive practices. My experience was the same.
Brought in for a starter repair. Replaced it and then called me to say computer [PCM/​ECM] was bad (It wasn’t when towed because I could not have tried to start the car and have noises if computer was bad)
When I told them I wouldn’t pay because it happened when they were repairing the car, they avoided calls for days and when I finally got hold of them, they said they would remove their new starter and leave me to tow a car with a starter problem AND a computer issue that they created.
AVOID THEM! I AM REPORTING TO STATE OF MICHIGAN LICENSING & ATTY GENERAL.
