We are driving from San Diego to Virginia with our cat and staying here was quite a treat. The pool and greenery outside of our room was tranquil and just what we needed. We especially liked the set up of the room. There was a partial wall separating the couch from the bed but not totally isolating one another. It was almost like having a living room and bedroom in one! Also, some pet friendly hotels we stayed in prior to this one had an awful odor. We almost thought that the hotel had forgotten that we had a cat when we stepped in the room. The bed was very comfortable! So comfortable we did not want to get up in the morning. The front desk attendant was very accomadating letting us check out late. Highly recommend this hotel in charming Canton, TX. We enjoyed it.

Friendly staff, so-so rooms. Little things like a warped headboard from previous guests putting their wet hair up against it and salty, salty water in the shower that will not clean off all the sweat from walking around the Canton trade days and a toilet that makes terrifying noises in the middle of the night. Really good food at breakfast though, for hotel food, and breakfast is free. Real eggs, waffle maker, sausage, muffins, bagels, cereal: all tastes really good. And again, the people who work here are really friendly. So it’s a mixed bag, but if you just need a place to park and sleep while staying a few days for first Monday, this place is fine.

Well we stayed here while going to Market Days… this hotel is in need of some tlc. For what we paid to stay here I have stayed in way better accommodations. Hotel staff was good but the got the first and last of my money.

Will never stay here again, mainly because of billing errors. They charged our credit card twice at the time of our stay in October. They didn’t respond to our calls, or to the inquiry from the credit card company. It was resolved because our credit card company reversed the charge based on non-response. Then, the hotel charged our credit card in December. We weren’t there, never made a reservation for that time, and it was for an amount that was different from our previous stay. The general manager has not responded to repeated phone calls, and we have again challenged the charge through our credit card company. There were other minor annoyances too — the computer was down so couldn’t print boarding pass, could only get wifi in the lobby because of weak signal, and they blamed a «new girl» for making a lot of mistakes in setting out breakfast. The staff are friendly, but this hotel is not well managed.

This is my second time to stay in this motel. The front desk people are very friendly and helpful with information for eating in the area. Rooms are clean and non-smoking. I will use this place for rooms everytime I am in the area.
