Great little place just in the outskirts of town. Just renovated, looks terrific in the rooms. Nicest super 8 I’ve stayed in before. Courteous desk staff, everyone was as expected. They serve a simple continental breakfast with a waffle maker with warmed syrup, delicious waffles! The beds are comfortable enough and plenty of pillows to suit your likings. Walls are pretty thin, heard everything going on around me. I don’t sleep well in hotels anyway, so not blaming it all on the super 8. Overall, a nice place to crash while traveling through. Very clean overall and that is a big plus in my book. Good value for the dollar spent.

Great value. I’ve stayed here several times over the past 5 months to visit family. The new owners are doing the right things as they keep upgrading and remodeling. Good beds. Clean rooms. A decent breakfast. We had our family stay here for a family funeral and all were satisfied. The staff is extremely friendly and the family owners are people who care and know service.

Mr. Patel is a gracious host… served my co — worker and I food that his wife cooked on our first night. Clean friendly rooms. I am very happy…

So glad to be back at my regular motel here in Canton. I have been a regular here for over a year now and there are a lot of reasons for that. The rooms are so clean, spacious, quiet, and inviting. It really feels like home. The staff here is very pleasant, and as I have been making regular, monthly stops here for over 12 months, have gotten to know me and my preferences well. I always get the suite which has got to be the best value for the price. With a king-sized bed and two comfy recliners, it’s almost as big as my studio apartment and makes me feel totally at home. If you’re planning a trip through the Spoon River/Illinois River/Peoria area, do yourself and your wallet a favor. Stay here. Don’t let the cheap motel signs fool you. Also, don’t let the fancy hotels with cheap prices fool you either. Super 8 is super affordable and super comfortable.

I reserved my room on Orbitz and paid $ 58.99 once I arrived. This place forced me to immediately recalibrate my metric for motel ratings. Not only had i previously handed out a 5 star, but I had also used the word«palace» liberally. This place is a goddamn Palace. Total enigma. If it weren’t in the middle of nowhere, it would cost at least $ 75.00/night. There is a slight caveat here, however, as the nearby Canton Inn advertises rooms for $ 29.00 on a massive, ugly billboard next to the Super 8 sign here that reads«Welcome, nice clean rooms.» After a trip that involved one dangerous, cheap hotel after another, i chose this place on the internet, which was not rated. I was on my way to Havana, IL from Peoria and nothing in Havana looked like an improvement from my previous experiences, so i decided to commit half-way between. It was totally worth the risk and I’m happy to report on my experience. This place is in some sort of strange time warp. It’s in great shape. It literally looks ten years younger than it is, aside from the flatscreen in the room and the comcast cable interface that popped up when i turned the tv on. I like the dark wood and old hotel furnishings are in good shape. Everything feels«lightly» used. The man at the desk was friendly and straightforward, the young woman working later at night is personable and friendly. It’s clear that someone has taken the time and energy to consciously arrange things in the room. It’s a rather small hotel and I get the feeling that this is perhaps a family operation. I could be wrong, but that’s my first impression. There is a camera down the second floor hallway which adds to the secure feeling already present in the building. It’s located right next to a huge corn field and a couple of restaurants.
