Wonderful! Place my son lives the jeep and the airplane, they are a bit on the busy side but that just means they are good!

Felix and the crew are great. Love Felix’s motto, «Look good, feel good.» Great barbershop. Easy location to get to and plenty of parking.

Loved our first visit I think I found a regular barber for my little man to visit .they were friendly and efficient and did an excellent job on his haircut it took a few bad places to find this one so glad we went in today

I brought my 2 year old son here based on Unilocal reviews and a recommendation of one of my cousins. Felix cut my sons hair and I was extremely pleased. He was very friendly and patient with my son. I will definitely be bringing him back.

This is our go-​to spot for hubby’s and the little one’s haircuts, and they always do a fabulous job. My older kid loves to go sometimes, even though he doesn’t get his haircut here, for the lollipops. My hubby has very Asian hair, and he’s always been pleased by the abilities of Felix and his staff. It took us YEARS of living in the SCV and hubby getting bad haircuts to find a place that didn’t shy from cutting his hair. We’ve followed Felix since he was over at the barber shop in Newhall years ago. His place in Canyon Country has great hours, and it’s an affordable, quick haircut for my guys. Big-​time fan.

The place still has hair clippings from previous customers. Im taking 2 more stars because this is kinda unsanitary.

I stopped in quickly after a Costco run. I heard they had «kiddie chairs» and we needed to fix our son’s homemade haircut from over the weekend. Both myself and my 18-​month old were tired and missing our naps. However, I was crushed when they told me «cash or check only». I had neither.
The owner (Felix) looked at me quite compassionately and said, «Oh no. Please don’t make this a wasted trip. Just mail me a check. Would that be ok? Can we cut your son’s hair right now?»
Wow. I was truly blown away and humbled. I could have left frustrated and even more exhausted. But Felix and his staff were gracious and welcoming. A sweet lady named Sue cut my toddlers hair with patience and a smile.
As soon as I got in the car, I made a quick entry into my phones «to do list»: Write Unilocal review for Felix.

They always do a great job on cutting my husbands hair! They are consistent and always listen to what he wants. Great prices, customer service and fast (he always goes in last minute.) A go-​to!

This place is super friendly! Everyone here has a smile and treats you like a friend the moment you walk in the door. They are also kid friendly! If your kids are a little bit ADD or ADHD, there are some cool custom barber chairs for them that will keep their brains occupied for a little while.
They charge less than that «Super» haircut place. You can take the money you save, put half of it towards a bigger tip, and still walk away spending less.
Okay, ladies, it is not a full service salon experience. If you are looking for that, don’t type «Barber» into the search engine.
PS: Bring cash. No Credit Cards. But that is a good thing. You don’t want the NSA or the identity thief to know when you get your haircut anyway.

Fast, No frills, No BS — You get a decent cut that is so much better than Supercut or Mastercut!

I started going to cut n go about 6 months ago and thought I had found my barber shop. I was wrong. Felix is super nice so I feel sad giving him a bad review but he butchered my head a couple of days before New Years. he rushed my fade and took little time to make sure it was blended properly. from start to finish the cut took about 6 minutes. he knows me and I always tip well so I was confused as to why he didn’t set me up.
after I left I noticed I had hair around my ears that went uncut and the top had some hairs much longer than others. I won’t be going back and it’s a shame. he had done quality work in the past but when I got to go and pull out my clippers to try and fix my head that’s never good.

Found this place on Unilocal and decided to come due to the reviews and it being so close to home.
Easy to find and plenty of parking. Walking in, we were greeted very warmly by All the staff. My husband was first to be taken care of by Sue. He got a basic shear only haircut that came out so good. I noticed she was very friendly and made for good convo.
About 2 minutes after my husband was taken it was my youngest sons turn. He chose the jeep truck chair to get his hair done. I told Felix I wanted a short boy cut that I could comb to the side and cleaned around the ears. He was amazing!!! My son is two and gets antsy. Felix was so fast and patient. My sons hair came out so stinkin cute! Everything I asked for was done, what more could I ask for?!
Afterwards, the boys and I sat waiting for the husband to finish. There are a few toys for the kids to keep themselves occupied and Felix gave the boys a small ball to play with the basketball hoop. They were also offered lollipops as well (I loved that he asked me first instead of offering without my consent).
Overall, great place! We will for sure be coming here all the time now: D

Felix does a good men’s cut, but the women leave a lot to be desired. One (NOT Teresa) absolutely butchered my son’s hair last time we were there. She asked if she could trim his sideburns, I said yes. She proceeded to shave them off completely. She then left his bangs uneven and took a chunk out of the neckline. I was furious but kept my cool and Teresa had to do her best to fix it.
Teresa did decent with my son but my hubs saw her on his last visit and he wasn’t happy with the result — a buzz. He asked for longer on top, shorter on the sides, ended up with something similar to a Marine ‘high & tight’. I’m not sure if the other woman is licensed, I don’t see how it is possible, but Felix does a good cut. Lastly — they really don’t clean up after each client — hair is all over the seats — and they reuse the same smock all day long.

Great place. Very nice people. I love their service!
Update:4/2014: I took away 2 stars because the last couple of hair cuts I got weren’t that great. I don’t think the woman understood some of what I requested. She was very nice, but I just got a much better hair cut at a salon down the street. The haircuts here are cheap, so if you have short hair I think it’s still a good place to go.
