I have been coming to Phở Vinh on and off for the past few years. Never had a problem with the place, other than high prices. Today I called in an order for 2 shrimp spring rolls($ 9). When I got to the restaurant, I decided to order a regular bowl of phở soup($ 7) with pork($ 2). When I get ready to pay, I asked the guy if he could forgo the bean sprouts, basil, lime, jalapenos, and simply give me more broth and noodles since I’m getting over the flu. He said«sure, no problem!». Then he tells me my total is $ 27 something. SAYWHAT!!! He said«well you wanted extra broth and extra noodles.» So they’re going to charge me almost $ 10 because I wanted a little bit more broth(which is mostly WATER) and carbs? I told him to forget the changes, and I’ll stick with the regular. I couldn’t believe what they were trying to pull. Then my total came to $ 19 something. I get home and unpack my meal. There’s only noodles, green onions, and broth. No lime, jalapeño, sprouts, basil, nothing. I called back to voice my complaint. He said sorry, and nothing else. I asked him if he was going to do anything and he said«I said I’m sorry.» My family has owned a restaurant for 40 years. They would never just tell a patron«Sorry.» They would FIX their mistake or DOSOMETHING about it. They would offer a credit to the customer or they would ask the customer to bring it back and they’ll redo it. I asked him if that’s really all he was going to do and then let him know that I’ll never be visiting this overpriced restaurant again. Naturally, he didn’t care. I’ve had such better phở in other places. I only came here because it’s one of the few in town, however I don’t care about phở so much so to be sorely mistreated.

Great phở. Much much better than the other place on Del Prado. It’s a little pricey for this area but nonetheless worth it. The portions are significant. Highly recommend.

I have been there many times and have never been disappointed. Have also brought others there and they love it as much as I do.

Not your traditional Vietnamese restaurant. The Phở soup was build-your-own ingredients with the meats of your choice. Usually I like the beef combo meats but I opted to only have shrimp this time. My girlfriend went the beef route and chose steak and brisket. Different flavored broths in each soup but very tasty in both. The meat choices were of good quality too. Also we got the Shrimp spring rolls served cold as always. These weren’t the better ones I’ve tried but were not bad either. Peanut sauce was average I thought. I like how you order walking in and then everything is brought out to the table afterwards. The service was prompt and very friendly by both servers. We were in and out in a half hour which was good with the time we had available. I’d come back again here. Fruit Boba drink was delicious. Place had some customers for lunch hour but not overly busy.

Phở Vinh, 601 Del Prado, N, Cape Coral, FL. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. Hot soup on a cold day or any day. This Vietnamese style soup is as good as I found in the enclave of Oakland and San Francisco, CA. A variety of fresh ingredients hot or mild. A regular bowl does more than enough to fill you up. If you like spring rolls or egg rolls they have you covered. A note on the order process. You order and pay at the counter first. They give you a number to place on your table and bring you your food in a quick pace. Lots of smiles and salutations is what I got when I was there. They do a large to-go business so the phones ring quite a bit. So when you are in the mood for something different drop on in. They will be happy to see you. Ah one more thing… I am a cheap person. I do find that they may be a bit more pricey for the frugal type.

Visiting from Naples, and this place is a great find! Very casual, great for take out. We had the veggie spring rolls and phở with steak. I would definitely recommend it!

The food is bland not that great Vietnamese phở. On top of that, had a baby roach in my fish sauce floating around aimlessly. Lost my appetite, and never going back! Disgusting!

I first reviewed Phở Vinh in 2013, they have changed the interior, nicer. Order at the counter and they serve you when ready. The menu is about the same. The food is good, fresh, and enjoyable. The steak phở with mushrooms had plenty of flavor. The side adds bean sprouts, basil and lime are fresh ! Jalepanos are available just ask.. Also there is also a drive thru on colonial in ft Myers in front of The Ranch night club. Same food. Now if I can get them to deliver! 25.00 for 2 .not a bad evening meal.

First time ever having Phở and the young lady behind the counter was very kind and very informative! Even though she chuckled when I said«Foe» instead of «Fuh» lol. I got the $ 10 beef Phở special and it was delicious and filling. The spring roll was fresh and DELICIOUS! I will be back!

I tried the Phở Soup with Angus Beef and was disappointed. The dish looked good full of mushrooms and meat but the meat was rubbery and the soup had an unpleasant aftertaste.

This place is a good stop for a relatively healthy experience. The soups are the staple, the salads are, well, salads. The spring rolls are delicious and nutritious. The combo meal, had it once, solid, but preferred the soups. 4 balloons Your friend, Scott

First time here the other for lunch. Walked in and had order my food at counter. Luckily I was taking it to go but if dining in, still order at counter then sit down. Food will be brought to your table but you’d have to go get your own condiments from condiment rack. Strange. Ordered boba tea, it was ok. Didn’t have anything that inspired me so I got egg rolls. 2 for $ 4.00. It was the size of my thumb. How do you justify the price? Won’t be back.

Phở Vinh is Cape Coral’s best kept secret! The $ 10 combo which includes a small Phở, spring roll and a drink definitely keeps your tummy full! I’m quite the regular now and the # 2 combo is spot on! The broth is always hot and yummy, the noodles are cooked just right and that sliced steak with the mushrooms and onions hits the spot! I enjoy the assortment plate that accompanies the Phở! If you want to be a little adventurous try out their Boba Teas which I like a lot the coconut milk tea and I recently found out they offer Vietnamese Coffee which I’ve also tried and it’s amazing when you drink it in small sips as it packs a punch and I think they use condensed milk to make it and it is delish! Everything that I’ve had is amazing! The staff are all wonderful hard working folks and I love the layout of the restaurant! Very modern and comfortable setting. Keep it up! You guys rock!

My niece and I absolutely LOVE Phở Vihn. So much so, that we tend to have a «date night» here once a month. From what I understand, their Phở is not the traditional Phở that most people are used to. Number one difference is that the broth is chicken based, which we absolutely LOVE! The noodles are absolutely perfect, and the«add-ons» are great. I always add bok choy and chicken to my soup, and my niece always adds kale and chicken. The service is fast and super friendly. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. We’ve never had a bad experience at Phở Vihn. We highly recommend it. :)

I walked into Phở Vinh expecting the traditional phở restaurant, only to find a counter-serving, tendon/tripe-lacking restaurant with super friendly service. At first, I was a little taken aback because I did not know how to order off the menu. Where was the phở dac biet? I was in Cape Coral for work and wasn’t sure how phở is in the area. Unilocal steered me to the best rating in town and I don’t regret it. Tammy(the owner) explained the menu to me. She also explained the twist on phở they are doing in Cape Coral. So there is no tendon, or tripe, or the usual suspect. However, there is bokchoi, mushroom, and angus beef(closest to the authentic phở). They were also doing a promotion of the day: customers get a discount if they can come up with a phở pun. Mine was«me and you, phở-ever!». Not lame, at all :) The phở was delicious — noodle was on point and the broth wasn’t bad. This was an interesting turn of event for me. I never had bokchoi with phở before. I do like the traditional phở better but travel brings a broader perspective to food. I can see why the locals like it so much. People were still squeezing in right before closing to get their phở and bubble tea.

We frequent Phở Vihn regularly, the flavor of the food is very appetizing– Bottom Line: The Phở is delicious and we enjoy adding veggies like tomatoes and cabbage to enhance it. The chicken spring rolls are another key ‘every time’ item for us– The pop pork over noodle salad is very good with the house dressing.

Such a great place. Good service, super FRESH and delicious food. A real gem in the cape, which is basically a food wasteland. Highly recommend the fresh spring rolls and they lean brisket phở with bok choy. Go! You won’t regret it.

Being here: First time eating here. Upon walking inside it looked like they just opened on account they had little amount of tables and a lot of walking space. With that being said its not like there’s no where to sit there is, you can bring a party of people and have room. There’s also no art on the walls, it’s very dull inside. The customer service was good, not anything to brag about but also nothing to complain about. I’d say just perfect. The music was weird, it wasn’t anything related to the story it was sort of whacky music, weird chicks singing about raining cats and dogs, another song some lady seemed sad about life… Just not normal music you hear at restaurants. Made for a conversation at least. Food: Didn’t know what to order, kind of just picked a dish that I didn’t know what to expect out of it and let me tell you it was amazing! It was garlic rice and garlic pork pieces that almost tasted fried but they weren’t. They had a nice crunch to it. The dish came with this badass vinaigrette that was spicy which I poured over the rice and pork. Also came with a side of lettuce and cucumber and another side of carrots and something else of yummy which was sweet(: When getting fountain drinks I was thrilled to see Fanta Ginger Ale! You don’t usually ever see that when getting at drink at restaurants. Didn’t notice the time, guess we kept them 20 min after close. Though they were cleaning up the store anyway no one seemed to have minded they were very kind about it kept saying have a great night. They do close early. 8pm on a Thursday.

This was my first time here and I ordered the beef brisket phở combo with a coconut milk boba tea. Service was quick and extremely helpful and friendly when ordering. They even gave us samples of their garlic rice. I enjoyed my meal very much. This is the only place that makes it acceptable to have soup in 95 degree Florida heat. The soup was very flavorful and very filling!

Pretty good Vietnamese food for an area extremely lacking in decent ethnic food. Phở Vinh is a cute little café type spot with very reasonably priced food. I’ve tried a couple apps — spring rolls with shrimp and fried egg rolls with pork. I definitely liked the egg rolls better, but to be honest I’ve never been a huge fan of spring rolls so take that with a grain of salt. The phở is surprisingly good. I had the braised pork and with a few splashes of Sriacha and liked it very much. I also tried the steak phở which was tasty as well. On my next visit I’d like to try PV’s curry.
