We picked up this restaurant from all the good reviews on Unilocal. The building looks awful from the outside, but park, and go inside. A wonderful menu awaits. The duck foie gras with brie, the charcuterie, the scallops wrapped in bacon, and the tiramisu were all excellent. The service is top notch as well. Go! Good cuisine like this needs to be supported!

My husband and I stopped in for dinner last night. The food was fantastic, starting with the bread and dipping sauce, appetizers shrimp and brandy sauce, calamari in ink, both very good. Best Spansh risotto I have ever tasted. Scallops were cooked to perfection. Definitely going back.

We stopped in tonight for dinner. Shrimp in garlic and brandy was delicious and the shrimp were cooked perfectly, which is hard to find as most overcook them. Spanish risotto was rich and delicious, very good. A diamond in the rough for sure. We will be back soon!

The food was absolutely delicious! Only thing I would change is that they didn’t have everything offered on the menu available that evening. The other thing was I got the chicken with jasmine rice which was amazing but instead of fries with it veggies would’ve been more complimentary to that dish. I was disappointed they didn’t have the cheesecake also… On that note I will be back I will just call first to make sure they have what I want on the menu that evening!

AMAZING… the octo is one of my favorite dishes in the area. Truly good food and unique to the area. THe service was perfect, and I can not wait to go back. In fact, I am angry it took me so long to get there. This is EXACTLY the type of restaurant that needs to thrive in CC.

Tourists, get your head out of the sand and drive 15 minutes and check this place out. The food was wonderful. My wife had a salad and the lamb. I had the lobster bisque and the salmon with vegetables. All of our food was perfection on a plate. The service was excellent too. Pricing is higher than most places, but the cost is well worth it. The food is better than places we’ve eaten back home that were considerably more expensive.

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. Time to Eat, is a new mediterranean restaurant in Cape Coral… I had beef and risotto with mushrooms. I have never had this before. Kathryn read off the specials and I just jumped to it. First the bread. They make their own bread. It was light and so flaky and a hint of garlic. I could have just eaten this. Ah the risotto was flavored with mushrooms and I believed wine and beef. I just loved it. The beef was cooked to perfection of medium rare. Tender and so tasty. Some chit chat. I had reservations going here. Too many 5 stars reviews. WOW they are correct. The food is fabulous. I must say this is a great addition for the food scene in The Coma(aka Cape Coral). My server Kathryn did an outstanding job. But there is a few bumps in the road. They are located in a strip mall. It is hard to understand parking(as of this writing) The lines and design of the parking lot can be confusing. There is no Disable park space. You can miss the eatery sign. Plus they need to advertise a bit more. More folks need to be patrons. It is a diamond that should be shined. AHHH one more thing. It can be a bit pricy. My entrée was 28 bucks or so. And if you read my reviews before you know I am a cheapskate… Then you must splurge once in a while. I gambled and won in this case. So come on down and get a dining experience. Not just feed your face. ;-)

Not to take anything away from the other fine restaurants that have come to Cape Coral recently, but TTE is without question as good as any. Adrien has that unique ability to combine creativity and great presentation, the result of which is a memorable dining experience. Everything from start to finish is top notch. Spread the word people.

Wow. We are looking for something new near our house in the Cape and saw this place online. We deciddt to give it a shot. We are hooked! Adrian, the owner and chef, came out and chatted with us, helped us select our appetizer, wine, and entrees. A perfect combination! The food and service(thanks Cathy) are excellent. We will definitely come back for more!

Fine dining at reasonable prices. The fried calamari and crochets are excellent appetizers. Bacon wrapped scallops and lamb ribs were great. The Mediterranean salad with shrimp is lightly dressed with dinner rolls that come with exotic dipping oil. The strong coffee and light cheesecake make for a happy ending if you have room left. Definitely Time To Eat!

Best food I have had in a long time! My husband and I choose to get the deal they were offering, an appetizer, 2 entrees(anything on the menu) and 2 deserts this also comes with a bottle of house wine all for only $ 50! We had the ceviche which was Mediterranean style with capers this was amazing! Then the salmon which was equally delicious it was served with grilled asparagus which was done perfectly and mashed potatoes beautifully piped onto the plate. To finish off the evening we tried both home made deserts they had that night, one a light and fluffy cheesecake which the waiter told us was made without any sugar it was topped with a blueberry sauce. The other was a coconut cream crêpe which was outstanding! The staff was friendly and the chef came out to each to speak with each table after their food arrived. The décor is clean and simple, the food really speaks for itself here nothing else is really needed to bring us back.

My wife and I can’t wait to go back to this restaurant, and we’re already contacting friends and family to let them know this will be the next restaurant we want them to visit(preferably with us seated at the table with them). Our friendly and very professional waiter, Billy, made outstanding recommendations from start to finish — from wine to appetizer to entrée to dessert. The Garlic shrimp appetizer was a fantastic start to this amazing meal — large fresh shrimp perfectly cooked in a garlic brandy sauce that delicately flavored the shrimp(instead of overwhelming them like garlic can often do) and left a delicious broth in which to dip the fresh-baked bread. At the risk of overusing the word«perfect,» the entrees also fit that description. The delicious bacon-wrapped scallops were accompanied by a perfectly cooked vegetable side dish, and the elegance of the presentation was surpassed only by the amazing flavors of the dish. Likewise, the skirt steak was tender and flavorful and cooked exactly as I ordered it by a chef who obviously understands the ins and outs of preparing beef. The location in a Cape Coral retail strip center is not one that immediately shouts«Great food made here,» but don’t let the location fool you. The food here is as good as, and possibly better than, the best restaurants we’ve visited on Fifth Avenue in Naples and other culinary hot spots in Southwest Florida. Foodies… program your GPS and make the trip to Cape Coral to support this Mediterranean-trained-but-thankfully-now-local chef. You will not be disappointed!

We decided to dine here after hearing about a good review on Facebook. We weren’t planning on it so this was a nice surprise. There aren’t many fine cuisine places in Cape Coral where food is crafted to order and the chef takes time to create your plate. If you’re in a hurry for a meal you should go to your below average chain restaurants for below average food. The chef/owner made his way around to each table to greet everyone which was a nice touch. We each enjoyed the special of thane day and thorough enjoyed it. Very fresh and carefully crafted. We will return for sure.

A real gourmet surprise in Cape Coral. This chef has high expectations and demands on what comes out of his kitchen and it shows. Baby calamari appetizer with aioli arrived piping hot, very lightly fried and might very well be the tenderest calamari I’ve ever had. The bread is fresh out of the oven and terrific. Wish I had more aioli for the bread(although the flavored butter they place on the table is good, too). Husband had the grouper, while I had an evening special of Cajun risotto. The grouper was delightful, perfectly cooked and seasoned, beautifully plated and a large portion. The risotto tasted great, but arrived looking like a redish-black mess on the plate. The look of it put my husband off, even though he is very fond of andouille sausage. This dish needs rethinking.(In fact, the proliferation of risotto on this small menu might need tweaking a bit). Luckily, we visited on a Wed night where entrée’s include unlimited house wine. I would have given the place five stars except for two problems. One, the wine list is overpriced with four times retail markups and mostly high end wine selections. I don’t think there were any reds less than $ 30 a bottle. Two, and this is the biggest problem, is the noise level. Just impossible to carry on a conversation. Cement floors, walls, high ceiling — even if the place were nearly empty, it would be too loud. A couple of louder tables in this small place decreased our pleasure associated with the excellent food and good service. I’d love to see this place succeed. Cape Coral could use a cool place like this with an inventive, creative chef who truly does love cooking — and it shows. But with the noise level, I don’t know if we would go back — certainly not if we brought another couple with us. But if we did go back, it would assuredly be on Wednesday to avoid ordering the overly expensive wine.

Excellent food, and cool vibe here. Just the kind of place that the Cape needs. Eclectic menu and pulled off in my opinion almost perfectly. Had the cheese for the wife and the octopus for me to start… excellent. I love octopus… I sure wish it was more available around here. Risotto as the main, and it was good… bordering on great. With just a bit more moisture it would have been perfect(risotto snob alert). Wife had the skirt steak and loved it. The place is new and was not so full, so if you read this and are intrigued, go check it out for yourself. This is EXACTLY the type of place the residents of Cape Coral need to support.

Time to Eat is a new mediterranean restaurant in Cape Coral… Delicious choices on the charcuterie section… Tapas are their specialty and you feel as you are in a spanish town joint. Smart wine list with superb choices. Driving all way down from Naples is a must.

Yep, as good as it gets. Delicious, fresh Mediterranean food. From delicate Serrano ham to tasty squid risotto to succulent lamb ribs to fabulous homemade desserts. Pleasant atmosphere with friendly waiters. Nice wine list. Truly talented chef. Have to go back early and often.
