Went for lunch. Very cute, relaxing, quiet, friendly and yummy. Will definitely go back.

Love everything here! The ambience is wonderful! Food is fresh and delicious! Service is great! And most importantly, the coffee takes me back to the East coast taste buds of coffee, Which is my weakness!!!

Great place. It has a really unique neighborhood, family vibe. We were in Cape for a long weekend and ended up stopping in for coffee 2 mornings and one evening for wine and a light dinner. The friendly owners were there every time. It is the exact opposite of a highly polished corporate Starbucks and also doesn’t give you any sort of coffee snob impression either. Instead you get a good coffee or latte, fresh home made food and a nice, laid back neighborhood atmosphere. The wine and food for dinner was good, very affordable and perfect for a casual evening listening to open mic music on a Friday night. Highly recommended if you are in the mood to slow down and relax in small town middle America.

The food portions are small but good. The coffee is only put in to-go cups. There’s outdoor seating and different seating areas inside. They give discounts to SEMO students. They sell local artwork on the walls, or display artwork from local elementary students. Sometimes they have events where they use a microphone and it might be hard to study, but they post that information on their website. There are some reasons why I took one star off though: (1) There’s no menu board and the coffee menu is a torn up, laminated sheet kept at the cash register. I recommend they make a menu board or update their drink menu. (2) They rarely have bakery items. They have a case that always has some desserts, but I’ve only seen them sell one blueberry muffin, and the other times they didn’t have any. I recommend they keep muffins and scones on supply, at the very least. They’re good to pair with coffee. Overall, I’ve enjoyed my experience here and would come back again.

Finally tried this place in Cape Girardeau. Wanting a good coffee fix and our town has few options. Took my middle daughter here, they have recently moved to this new location. The door creaked audibly as we strolled in on a cold misty day seeking what could only be described as a caffeine infusion. The décor is half old country store and half small town book store. Not saying that in a bad way. Their space is split up into different smaller areas which provides for a little coziness and privacy which I believe their regulars enjoy. The coffee was great as I had previously heard and overall a great experience. I think I’m gonna have to take the laptop in there and have a productive, enjoyable experience sometime soon.

I really like Cup N Cork. I’m not much of a coffee drinker but if all coffee and wine bars were like this I would drink it a lot more than I do now. The fresh made drinks and snacks are amazing. It almost feels like stepping into a museum where you can have a glass of wine it a great cup of coffee while you enjoy the art at your leisure.

Super cute spot. It’s the old Mollie’s. They did right by it to make it a wine and coffee spot. I don’t know about the quality of coffee, but the small wine menu was okay. We had bad, very bad, service. We were ignored, then when we went up to the bar to order we ended up standing for 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Mind you, we had a table with service. FINALLY, the owner grabbed the bottle and came towards us bit stopped on his way to chat with a salesperson or something about what looked like a pizza stone or something. I mean, they chatted for a long time… With our bottle of wine in his hands. We sat with empty glasses. He finally came over and tried to give us decent service by asking if we needed fresh glasses. Ha! Please! Just pour the wine. It had been 30 minutes with empty glasses at this point. No apologies. Not one. Apparently that’s the standard– low. Won’t be back.

As a fan of all things local, I had to stop in at this place. I had an hour to kill, so I ordered a latte(delicious) and asked her to turn my food order in about 30 minutes later. She must have set a timer, because this very friendly server handled it perfectly. I enjoyed my book, a bowl of homemade(really!) tomato bisque, and a grilled cheese maximus. If I have time later in the week(since I’m visiting from out of state), I plan to go back one evening and try their wines.

I love the atmosphere here and the dressing on the Tuscan chicken salad was really different but really, really tasty. I definitely want to come back for a cheese plate and some wine!

Really cool old building in a historic old downtown & nice people working there. All coffee is made to order. My Wife & I Started with strawberry cake and chocolate cake. Both were outstanding! Super moist & fresh. The chili & lobster bisque for the next course we’re both very good, nice depth of flavor. Would defiantly come back here.

This place is a must visit!!! I was in town on business and was referred here. Can I tell you such an exceptional experience from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food… WOW! My husband has been in the restaurant industry for years so it takes exceptional experiences to wow me. Tina is amazing and offered suggestions and allowed for our crazy substitutions based on our diet. I personally had Tina’s taco salad… Delicious does it no justice! We had the cherry pie made just how grandma used to make it!!! And don’t get me started on the gluten free peanut butter cookies!!! By far the best cookie I’ve ever sank my teeth into. If your in Cape this is the place to go! I’m hoping to be doing business in cape more often just so I can return!

A main stay in Cape for coffee, wine, and warmth. But, they’ve moved. If you’re lookings for C&C on Main street, keep going to Spanish. Just a couple blocks away. The atmosphere is very relaxed. You can enjoy a conversation and specialty coffee but before you know it… you’re going to want a pastry or sandwich. Give in to temptation, have a second cup of coffee and a croissant. You’ll be glad you did.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Cape. They have live music all the time and very cultured people walk through the door. I feel very relaxed and I go there to study at times. The owners and workers are very friendly and the food is even good. This is the best place for coffee and culture combined in cape.

Well, I said I wouldn’t be back, but my daughters and I were shopping downtown and decided to pop in for a quick lunch and some hot chocolate. What a mistake. The service is so awful. No one greeted us. We picked a table and I finally went to the counter and asked for menus. The menus are falling apart and dirty and some items were blocked out by pieces of tape. Our hot chocolate came to us in to go cups, not the big ceramic mugs you would expect in a coffee house. And it was barely warm. We waited 30 minutes for a panini and a cheese platter. One of my girls had the panini and it was very greasy. It looked like it had been cooked in a skillet, not a panini press. The cheese tray was atrocious. It is described on the menu as an assortment of imported cheeses with olive tapenade, crackers, and fruit. First of all, the platter upon which the food was served had all four of its corners chipped off — and not in a charming way. The cheese consisted of deli Swiss cheese, wedges of smoked Gouda, Gruyère chopped into matchsticks, and another pile of matchstick cheese that was unidentifiable. There were Ritz crackers and sesame crackers that were stale. The grapes appeared to have not been washed, as I was able to wipe dirt off of them with my thumb. The worst, though, was the«olive tapenade.» This consisted of whole green, pimento-stuffed salad olives from a jar, and California black olives from a can floating in about a half-cup of Italian salad dressing and topped with raw red onion rings. None of us could even eat it. I spit mine into my napkin. I would gladly have shared this information with the staff had anyone bothered to wait on us. While we waited for our check, two people got up from their tables and went to the counter to ask where their beverages were. No one brought us a check, so I finally went up and waited at the counter for 5 minutes before either of the two guys behind the counter even acknowledged me. While I was waiting I noticed how dirty the area behind the counter was. I saw someone’s purse and keys sitting on a surface with a pie plate and a dirty fork. Gross. I don’t know how they’re staying in business. Somebody needs to give the owners a wake up call. What a shame.

I was filming in town and we shot a scene at the café and then decided to have the crew meal there as well and it was one of the best things we did all shoot. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was top notch. The staff was kind and very accommodating. We ate in the outdoor patio and it was really nice. It is on my short list of great eats in Cape Girardeau and I will definitely come back next time I’m in town.

Hands down, worst experience of my life. This would have been my second time dining here except the staff refused to wait on me. I waited for about 15 minutes before finally deciding to leave. I went to the counter twice, and the staff, including the wife-owner, refused to acknowledge my presence the entire time. The blonde waitress smirked at me and drank an entire iced coffee as she just stood off to the side refusing to wait on me. I have no idea why they refused me service, as I only have been here once and sat outside drinking a coffee while reading. It’s really disappointing because this is the only coffee house like this in Cape, and it’s beautiful on the inside. I would avoid this place at all costs. The service doesn’t exist, so you can’t even laugh at it. *after reading other reviews, I’d like to note that the husband-owner actually seemed pleasant, but was clearly the only one out of four employees working. The wife-owner actually said loudly to her employees«I’ll wait on her» and then walked outside cooly while smirking at me.*

Coffee brewed to order, roasted locally, and served personally by the owner Tina. With a smile. What could be better on the first warm Saturday of spring! I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting much of the coffee, but I was seriously impressed. Not mud. Very subtle. Bear in mind I’ve lived in Seattle,
