Great dinner, loved the ribs. The Wednesday night Chicken dinner was also good. The sauces were a good variety. Each distinctly different. We enjoyed watching a Cardinal’s Game, a good place to be a baseball fan. Only thing not up to par was the potato salad side, definitely not homemade. Seems like an easy thing to do, making their own salads.

Had the brisket dinner. Very well smoked. Perfect crust, nice smoke ring and so tender the steak knife that came out with the plate was just an accessory. The flavor was so great I had to force myself to try the four sauces. The sauces were good but the meat didn’t need it as it had wonderfully smoked beef flavor that stood alone. I’m glad I had fries instead of a baked potato. Portion size was very generous, «I’m stuffed like a tick» and a baked potato may just have been a dangerous overload to my belt!

Pulled pork bbq on Texas toast was superb! Easy going atmosphere with friendly service! 2 bbq’s, 2 fries, and an order of baked beans was around $ 15. We will go again!

Pulled pork was good. Decent variety of sauces. Louisiana red hot sauce was surprisingly good. Worst. Brisket. Ever. Fatty and bland. Tastes like a piss poor attempt at pot roast.

Ordered take out: the service was good/quick and the order was correct. Overall, the meat was very favorable and of good quantity. The sides were tasty, but rather small portions which left the meal being very heavy on the meat, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Great southeast Missouri staple. Love the sauces and the selection of meats. Friendly and accommodating staff. My kids love the all you can eat soft serve.

Very mediocre. Meat is dry and service is poor. When they first opened they were full service, now you have to order at the counter. However they have not changed their full service prices. Same price minus the service. With the food being only mediocre I have never returned.

My husband & I stopped in while visiting family. Ordered the brisket plate, good flavor, but it was cut wrong. Brisket is cut against the grain not with it. The brisket also could have used a heavier smoke flavor. Potato salad seemed to be bought instead of homemade. The menu isn’t that diverse. Pulled pork, turkey & ribs. Wish there was a better BBQ plate to get BBQ.

Stopped in on a trip west. The prices are amazing and the food is absolutely perfect. Love the free extra drinks and the soft serve. Great BBQ!

Weird location, looked like an old olive garden or a china Buffett. Ribs were dry and the beans were ketchupy. No one was there! Fox news on TVs.

I have been eating BBQ since my momma weaned me, nearly 60 years ago … and all over America to boot. I have not tried their ribs, not being a big ribs fan, but their pulled pork sandwich is the best in America north of Memphis. I always eat there when passing by Cape on I-55.

WOW. You gotta get here on Wednesdays to get the BBQ’ed half-chicken special, but it’s well worth it. Great rub and smoke on these birds. The meat is moist all the way through. Ribs are fantastic as well. Tender, yet firm enough to sink your teeth into.

Opens at 11am on Saturdays. So it is a must-stop for some cold sides to bring down to the beach vacation. These are dry rub ribs at their best for my BBQ preferences. The dominant seasoning in the rub is celery seed and salt. The meat is typically not«fall off the bone» but are a little toothy, due to the dry rub cooking technique. Excellent through and through smoke flavor, though.
