It’s Acme, what would you expect? This store has pretty good overall selection, good beer choices and, as those who know about Acme, the usual very high Acme prices. And as others have said, shopping here on a Friday night or Saturday during the season, hope you love massive crowds because this place is usually mobbed.

Any supermarket in NJ that has a liquor/wine store inside is worthy of 5 stars in my book for the convenience factor alone. However, they also run a very nice, clean supermarket that is huge and has many options. If you’re staying in Stone Harbor, it is an easy 10 minute drive down the boulevard and worth the trip to avoid the heavy price markups at the local beach grocery store. They have a great selection of wine, beer, and liquor and you will have to pay for those items separately due to NJ laws, but just be thankful they offer that to begin with.

This place was mobbed when I went here Friday night and it’s pretty obvious that all the weekenders come here for supplies before heading off to their rentals. One such lady was in front of me with 2 carts of organic groceries(Her total was something upwards of $ 380) and only 2 registers were open(though each station had a bagger). How about this: Ditch the baggers and open up some more lines so that people don’t have to wait forever to get through the line?(For the record, I only had 5 cases of soda and could have been in and out if I hadn’t been held up). This is why I’m a tried-and-true Giant fan.

Overpriced groceries. Horrible organic/natural foods section. On the plus side, they usually play great music in the store. Hence the second star.

In my opinion it is one of the most complete store. You won’t realize this because it is not that big and extravagant it is just a store but with some thinking abilities and wise allics everyone can do everything and anything.

Best Italian hoagies! It’s seasoned just perfectly with that hint of oregano… ohhh man… such a fantasatic lunch option for less than $ 4.00! Self-check out lines makes it all the easier for those who are tech-savvy. Beware summer time though, this place gets slammed!
