The food was absolutely horrible and the waitress was so rude. I would not recommend anyone going to this restaurant ever! The food was undercooked and they had stuff that wasn’t even on the menu at all and they told us about the forgotten items when we were about to leave!

Wonderful meal tonight. Just got to cape may and wanted to find dinner. The reviews looked good so we took a chance. Everything was delicious. The bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer was so yummy. Hubby had a seafood dish with homemade pasta and I had the fish and chips. More than enough food and we left too full for something sweet. Great place, great atmosphere

First visit here. The waitstaff was pleaseant, attentive, and helpful. Filled my requests gladly for changes to the normal service ie. low carb. The service was quick and without delays. I had the baby back ribs

My favorite Restaurant. That’s all you need to know. Margherita pizza, pick and peel shrimp, cuban-style pork chops, grilled salmon. All unbelievable. I try to deviate from those items occasionally but they’re all too good to not order. The catch of the day is always a good bet too. Just do yourself a favor and go here. It might be crowded, but so what. It’s great food. I never mind hanging at the bar until my tables ready, and hey you’re in cape may. Everywhere is crowded. This place isn’t your standard tourist trap *cough cough* lobster house *cough*. And there’s a lot of thought that goes into each dish. I have yet to be unsatisfied and I’ve been coming here for YEARS

We have eaten at Lucky Bones many times which came highly recommended from friends who have a house in Wildwood. What a gem! EVERYTHING we have had was EXCELLENT! They have the best bread pudding I have ever had in my life! I will no longer eat bread pudding anywhere, since the others can’t compare, no way, no how. The only thing I was dissapointed with was the price for a cup of «She Crab» soup. I think it was overpriced even tho it was delish! The Rocket Salad is huge and filled with flavor and the shrimp/crab cake sandwich is the bomb! served with homemade fries. Lucky Bones is always one of our stops while in cape may. If you have to wait for a table, have patience, it’s totally worth it!

A group of 6 girls went for a late lunch/early dinner. We all loved it. They have such innovative, creative pizzas! I had a roasted butternut squash pizza with prosciutto, goat cheese, Carmelized onions & a Rosemary pesto. Some of the other dishes were: Kobe beef sliders, Kennett pizza with mushrooms, & the naked burger. All meals were thoroughly enjoyed. I was chilly from sitting on the windy beach & ordered the most delicious cup of coffee in a mug I would love to steal, I mean purchase;) it was a tall black mug with their logo. A really enjoyable experience & I will definitely be back. Other positives: It’s very large inside, they had a lot of seafood on the menu, the menu had something for every age to enjoy & they have a craft beer menu too!

First time here in December 2015. Can’t tell you how many times we’ve passed Lucky Bones over the years. Was very busy due to not everything being open in the off season. Service was fast and friendly. The food was great and there is a huge gluten free menu. We have a place in Wildwood Crest so we’re in the area a lot. This will be one of our regular stops! Big plus. .. They have a parking lot. Just get there early before it fills up!

Flights of craft beer — yes, there are prearranged selections but you can make up your own as well. Great food — yes, it tends to feel like a bar menu but some of the other dishes they serve work just as well too. For the table we had the nachos to start. They were good and a little different than I have seen in other places. For the main course I had a blackened grouper special. It was tasty but I am not sure where the ‘blackened’ part was. For my flight of beer I chose the Cape May Devil’s Reach and Honey Porter, Wookey Jack, and Cascara Quad. As with most places I have found they should print a current craft list rather than trying to explain what is not available and what has been substituted. On the downside they basically don’t take reservations — unless you are a party of 8 or more, and the place is tight inside — on a Saturday night I felt bad for the live ‘band’ that was setting up basically at the check in desk. If they could fix the small points this would be a five star place of enjoyment.

This place is great! When we are down the shore we always try to stop. This joint is open season round so you can go whenever. The best time to go is in the winter, no wait and same great food. We went this week and we started with the wings, New Orleans style, very tasty, crispy but still very juicy. Just the way we liked them. I have the mahi special with polenta. My mahi was cooked perfect! The polenta was nice and creamy, hard to find and it was spot on. My wife had the shrimp creole. She was loving every bite of it! Raving about it all night long. The food is very good! Nice beer selection and ample parking! Be careful because you could easily miss it. Service is great as well. We will be back for sure. Keep up the good work. Solid 4 stars

We heard so much about this place — always busy, good food, great drinks… And even off peak(I guess maybe not since it was Christmas time) it was busy at 5pm on a Sunday night. We were promptly seated(no wait thankfully) and greeted by our waitress. Beer specials board was right in front of us. Of course I opted for the beer flight to try all their holiday beers… so 2 flights to be exact with some left off. Wife decided on the sangria which she said was ok. Apps — rocket salad and black bean soup. Both were good, not great. Entrees — Pork special(see pictures) was very good! Juicy and flavorful. Steak frites was ok. I was expecting something else. Fries were over cooked. Green beans were crispy. Dessert — best part(aside from the beer). Monster cookie sandwich… you must save room(see pic). Chocolate ice cream with two monster cookies. 1 is enough to feed 2 – 3 people. It’s a family friendly spot. Bar area has TV’s. Service — No complaints. Prices — It’s Cape May… it’s alcohol… it adds up. Overall — Above average experience. ENJOY!

SO excited to see such an extensive gluten free menu. Had the spinach dip and the ribs and both were delicious. I was also excited to get Stella Cidre on draught. The best part of our experience was definitely our server Terry. She was like a superwoman waitress. She was very knowledgeable and has super sonic hearing so she actually answered our questions before we even asked them! We had a wonderful dinner and we’ll definitely be back when we’re in town. Oh and one last thing… gluten free ice cream sandwiches! Amazing

I like gong here off season because during the summer you will wait a long time even with a call ahead. October the place was still busy but we were seated within 5 minutes. Our server was really great and so was the food. GLUTENFREE no prob they have a big menu. Pizza was fantastic and so was the Caesar salad without croutons of course! Quick lunch and then off to our next weekend adventure. Very enjoyable experience. Cold day so it was nice to sit near the fireplace. Very busy bar, lots of fun.

This is a fairly average restaurant. The food is all right and the service is pretty decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. We went on a Sunday for lunch after church, and it wasn’t that busy when we arrived. It did, however, fill up quickly after. Mom ordered the chowder, which she said was good, and the crab cake sandwich, which she said was a little small. She said the plate was full of stuff, but most was either bread or fries, and the fries weren’t very good. Hubby ordered the clam pizza, which he said was decent, but it was overloaded with garlic. We all LOVE garlic, but this was excessive. We all shared the calamari, which was okay, but not amazing. I ordered the mussels, which were quite plentiful and quite good. My only complaint was that there was WAY too much Bleu cheese and not enough garlic(they should take some from the pizza). Our server, Travis, was prompt and friendly, though I would have liked him to offer to refill my water. Overall, not bad. I’d go again, but there I other places I might consider first.

We had lunch here before we all parted ways to go back home after vaca. It was around 1pm on Labor Day so it wasn’t too crowded at all. We got seated quickly, and our waitress was super nice and attentive the entire meal. I have nothing but great things to say about her. My daughter wanted a milkshake and even though it wasn’t on the menu, she made it happen. I always take notice when servers make an effort to make my kid happy — and she did just that, making small talk with her and everything! I’ll admit I wasn’t really hungry so I actually only ordered a salad — but I tried a bit of everyone else’s. My spinach/quinoa salad was okay — nothing too crazy or unique, although I did like the dressing. Maybe they could add a few more exciting elements to it. I tasted both of the pizzas our table got, and they were pretty good. My father in law said the fish tacos were meh. The tomato/crab soup was superb. I would give 3.5 stars if that were an option. Great service, good menu items — food just didn’t blow us away, and a little bit too long of a wait from the kitchen.

Usually if a restaurant is crowded it’s a good sign! Had to wait 45 minutes to eat dinner but it was worth it… I would say. Our waiter Joshua was very helpful with recommendations since I always pick out two to three things on the menu and ask the opinion of the staff on the choices. The usually know best. The menu is extensive and actually they should cut it down a tad bit. I ordered the Steak Frites with sides green beans and fries. The were a little skimpy on the sides but overall it was satisfying. Prices were average and not too expensive with a family. I give it a 3.5 but round up since Joshua was helpful and attentive when the restaurant was packed.
